After starting the day with a paddle on the Albert River, we continued to search for couple of caches in the area - before heading to the Welcome to the Village event. This was one of our finds. We signed the log.Tftc RoddyC

GCLOGAN MondayLooking for another full day of caching, I packed my car with my paddle board so I could get an early start for the day.Heading out in my own before the event. This made for a quick find.I found your cache, Do you believe in... Ogres? today. This is my 3440 find.RoddyC, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - RoddyC [^]
Found this cache today after kayaking on the Albert River. Great to stretch the legs and go for a walk around the wetlands, not too many mozzies, which was good. TFTC
With family from Melbourne staying down the coast it was an early morning start to grab a few caches before catching up to watch the footy. It was a pretty quiet run down the coast in the van and parked up at the recommended location. Made my way quickly to ground zero and soon located the cache. Extracted the log and made my mark. Replaced the cache safely and then off on the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for everyones enjoyment.Cheers

The current location is now untenable due to whipper-snipper and cleanup operations. Moved a few meters away.
Expat Queenslander now a resident of San Diego California visiting my father who resides nearby. GZ was hovering around a wooden bollard, that didn't make sense.Could not find a clue that made sense.Hunted path side and low side and still couldn't come up with the goods.

GPS didn't like me at all, even when it settled it had me about 5 metres away from where I eventually found it. Ended up being a somewhat simple find though and the hide blends in nicely with the surrounds. Tftc!
and this log is completely full. No mention by the previous cachers but it is easy to miss things - isn’t it. Thanks for the smiley.
Love caches like this! Basically hidden right in plain sight, so many muggles will have walked straight past this one with it in their view. It will be interesting to see how the view from the nearby playground changes one the Coomera Connector comes through here…
Walked straight to the spot, bent over and grabbed the cache, signed the log, put it all back, then walked around the other side. Ah ... now I understand the hint. TFTC
Nice spot to come to in the late afternoon.
Found the cache close by and then utilised the seat to watch a nice sunset.

Found by YFO. Ground zero had us way off but the clue helped for an easy find. Thankyou!
Tftc RoddyC, a quick drive by made today to see if we could bring our bikes here on another day.
Cache was in good condition. Quick find.
Thanks.

I have a busy day planned today, will look for a few caches on the way to a tree planting CITO event. I have a couple of specific ones to grab. Then will grab a few more caches before the next CITO event of a rubbish /clean up day. Then it will be a few more caches before I will have to head home.
This was one of my earlier caches, a quick easy find here today. I bumped into a fellow cacher as she was arriving to the area of this cache. Funny thing is we both listened to our GPS and arrived here for the event. Turns out there is a car park coordinate in the listing, lol. I signed the log and continued on my way. Thanks for the hide and the cache, nice. All good with this one.

After the tree planing CITO, I stopped here with E_Smiley to make the find here before heading over to the second CITO.
Cache was quickly found, after signing the log it was replaced as found.
Thanks RoddyC for maintaining the cache.

Very awesome cache was not expecting it too be were it was but my sister spotted something unique and decided to investigate. Had lots of fun with this one. Thank you for the Cache.
Absolutely cool cache, such a unique find and hidden perfectly in plain sight. Careful of spiders around! Thanks this was such a fun cache
Out and about geocaching a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon in the Eagleby area. When I arrived here, I had a feeling I have been here before. Took me a while but eventually found, signed the log and on my way. TFTC RoddyC
We were sorry to disturb the ants but we didn’t know they were there. Anyway quick find when you’ve seen these containers before. TFTC
I have had a few DNFs here ... I'm blaming local kids for taking the cache - I couldn't have been the problem. Especially as today was a very quick and easy find. Geoson was a bit disappointed it was so quick, but found solace in a nearby ants nest. He watched them while I signed the log. TFTC.
Thanks RoddyC for another of your geocaching hides we’ve found today after the event. This was a nice quick find and a relief as it’s very hot out today.
Cheers and happy caching!

Today, jesswrigley and I headed to Beenleigh and Eagleby, with our main focus was the Eagleby Wetlands so we could attend the tree planting CITO event. Following the successful planting, we walked around the wetlands, before exploring the vicinity further by vehicle. We then partially completed the *Looking around Beenleigh* Adventure Lab, finishing with a lunch at the famous yet busy Yatala Pie shop. In the late afternoon, I then did some hiking and jogging in Mount Coot-tha forest, and primarily targeted the *Get Rekt* Adventure Lab.
We decided to make the drive around to this location, and upon searching GZ, the cache was a quick find (in particular with the hint). The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Sewrainbow for the cache placement, and RoddyC for its ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

A small colony of black ants had moved in.
Most of them are now homeless, sure the housing market must be hard if you are trying to find a place for a family of 500+
Log signed and all returned
_Thnak you for this cache

Not a Sistema and not magnetic but we could it all the same because we saw something out of place.
Nice and quick find is good on time limit! On our way to work now! Feeling afresh after a find as usual ️
After a couple of DNFs nearby it was nice to make this find...

Checked out our Eagleby caches today. Cache was missing, but happy to say a new one is in place at GZ.
It's my last week in Australia for a while, unless I'm stranded here, so what better way to cram in the caches than to join RoddyC for another maintenance run. Today we went round lots of hides in the Eagleby area, not just Rod's and got quite a haul.
This looks like a nice place and there is now a nice new cache here too. Tftc and UTV

There were rumours that an Ogre had been seen at the Mended Drum. Ogres haven’t been seen in the city for centuries. Went and checked it out but I’m pretty sure the Winkles Old Peculiar has been flowing too freely.
Last one before the drive in and sadly a DNF. Thought it would be quick and easy but sadly wasn’t to be today. I’ll be back !
Heading to the pub tonight for after work drinkies and made a quick detour to pick up a cache.
Nice easy find and the discovery of a park I didn't know existed. Might come back tomorrow to explore.

Thought I might be looking for a needle in a haystack but it was poking its head up quite prominently. Sat on the newly laid grass to sign the log. Thanks for the cache
Today is a maintenance day for RoddyC, and I get to drive, "help" with the maintenance, and find lots of caches. I had a really top day. thanks, mate.
Out with Miss 3 & Master 5 to try and clean out this little bit of town.
We played at the park for a bit, having already got enough today for 500 finds, we were in no rush.
We eventually wandered down to GZ and on cue Miss 3 said it was time to go
Geoboy and I searched anyway, but even after prep work (reading past logs, looking at photos, etc) I had no luck and will know log a sad face.
I'll be back!

Out with Master 5 and Miss 3 to grab some caches and we decided on the kid friendly "do you believe" series. Wanted to finish this side of the park but Miss 3 was starting to crack. A quick search and I had to give up to get her home. I am not admitting defeat (dnf) as I am claiming my search was prematurely cut short! I will return.
Today’s plan was to get a few caches to accumulate some of the souvenirs available for the Hidden Creatures challenge. Met up with gunnie69 at Eagleby who had an ambitious plan for the day. It started with questioning our beliefs in mythical creatures, finishing off a series of ones around Mt Warren Park.
Cache 18 of 29 for the day.
Thanks RoddyC for the hunt and the cache!

Nice and quiet on the paths down this way and the sun was putting in an effort now which was nice after a very cold morning. GZ was not quite right for Ghostgums and I but with the aid of the hint, we could narrow down a hiding spot and locate the container.
Ghostgums did the honours and etched our names in the log before returning the cache as found.
Cheers Sewrainbow and RoddyC.
