Our time is up - we're heading home. Had a great time - thanks to everyone who looked for &/or found our series. So long & thanks for all the caches!
I'm sad to think I won't have time to finish the series as I'm not a local of Launie but what a funny find! Glad I read the logs first and prepared for a sneaky surprise.
TFTC had to wait for a few people to leave their cars before I could grab this one. Great to get the next part of the puzzle!
Eek! Decided to do this one solo while waiting for an appointment....boy oh boy did I regret that! My worst fears came to life when I spotted the Guardian! I give myself 10/10 for my bravery in retrieval and signing the log. I'll make sure the kids are with me for the next 6 as they'll appreciate it more . Thanks Arachnauts for bringing something unique into Lonnie and "hi". SL TFTC
I am a bit of a weary traveler of late but this series is a beauty. The coords were spot on, the cache hides were quality. Lovely to meet the owner at the local event. Not sure why the series is limited. They should rock on. A lovely tour of the town - well done. [^]
Thanks to Arachnauts and *clear skies* from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!

Forgot to say yesterday that the log is full. I signed it in a previous space where there was room.
This was our last find for info gathering – now off to the final location. TFTC
Following the theme resulted in a nice quick find - last of the info for no 7. TFTC
Found it but couldn't find the log. Might go back and see if I just missed it
Found, you have a wicked sense of Humour archonauts and I like it. Log signed and cache hidden back TFTC
A quick outing with one of the brat boys found us taking on this cute wee series, but alas we will have to complete it another day.
Many thanks Arachnauts from the Wacky one

First in the series for me on a cold cold night. Forgot to collect the letter and number so had to return.
Another quick search had this one in hand.

GPS was accurate, had plotted possible locations and description gave us a clue as well. The mention of a guardian was also understood. Geomonket grandaughter found this and screamed when she found it.
Loved it thank you.
Loved it thank you.
Thanks for the heads up. Have been keeping an eye on the critters, but this weather is proving challenging for the glue. Camo reinstated, will recheck coords asap.
Good one! I'll be hearing about this one for a while from my daughter who found it!
This was an interesting series where during the afternoon, we managed to find 6 of the 7 caches. Initially we could not find the caches at the first two places we visited (we didn't tackle them in order) but at the third location we found the cache laying on the ground and from that point on, we knew the type of container we were looking for - that made it easier. We also found that when we had the caches in hand, our two GPS units indicated that we were somewhere between 5m and 8m from GZ for 5 of the 6 caches we found. We also noted that in a couple of instances the glue had failed and the nano had come away from the cache container.
Although our GPS units wanted us about 7m away, caching instinct suggested another location and we were able to make a quick find. This is one where the glue had failed. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Arachnauts for the hide.

TFTC another found in this series but I will have to leave the others for another day. Enjoying this walk around and the seats to sit on when I write my log
Hi Arachnauts
800 kilometres for 28 cache finds; 7 on day one of the trip and 21 on the second: just 1 GA cache, the rest were GCs - during the trip I logged my 3000th GC find.
Places visited on day 1: Campbell Town, Trevallyn, Legana, Exeter, Supply River, Deviot, Beaconsfield and George Town.
Day 2: Bell Buoy, George Town, Lefroy, Beechford, Young, Swan Point and Launceston.
This cache was the 20th on day two and find six in the Weary Traveller Series.
Another quick find here. A muggle parked right near the phone booth just as I extracted the cache - no idea about my activity! Remained there until I left: wondered if it was another cacher?
The cache was Sainted and the log signed at 1635hrs.
More Autumn trees here too!
All info gathered and calculated - off now to the last in the series.
TFTC and cheers
