Slow Puncture (LJCC) I found your cache Rocky Mountain High on 16/2/2023, 10:15 am. This is my find 4733 and find # 1 today. Longest time was to find the best way to GZ. But the best option was the shortest and direct way. Arrived at GZ and with the help of the hint the cache was soon found. The lid has deteriorated with the weather. I double bagged the logbook so it hopefully will keep dry. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
We made a surprisingly quick find here. Possibly more luck than anything for me, but we were certainly happy for a quick find. The lid is perished and wasn’t on the container, but we were able to sign the log. Added another ziplock bag plus a moisture-muncher to hopefully help keep the log sheet healthy. Heading to our next cache. TFTC

Had a lovely and memorable time (5 and a half hours for 1 cache later in the day! Ha ha... ) with Duppers collecting caches with off road vehicles attributes for the newly published challenge cache. I needed to collect 98/100 caches in November to qualify. We selected this area for our caching day out using Dupper's hubby massive new 4wd. Her first time to drive it but she's driven one before.
Thank you for the cache Slow Puncture and CDAH55. Quick find by Duppers.

Lots of rocks. Found just below the purple flower and those spikey ball plant. Grass on way up is very tall. TFTC
Well, finally the weather has decided it will allow us a few days of dry camping (not totally dry, there WILL be a few lagers involved! ).
Our target area is Gympie and a few rural spots northwest.
A GREAT spot for basking snakes ... almost like a reptilian spa (without the water)! So hot on these rocks you could bake a cake!
I didn't see any snakes on this adventure but I DID spot where one left it's pyjamas!
A good test of surefootedness, thank the caching gods I had my trusty, never say die safety thongs on!
Cross-checked my bearings & with everything in alignment the cache was soon found ... about 2 metres up from the pyjama party leftovers.
Unfortunately it gets SO HOT here that the container itself has baked & is now very brittle & falling apart ... actually crumbling in my hands!
Reminiscent of a scene from The Mummy, or Raiders of the Lost Ark!
Made our mark & replaced upside down found.
Sorry but we don't carry this kind of spares.
Needs some CO TLC LJCC ASAP IMHO!

Scrambled up there, looked high, low and in the middle, too dangerous for me up there. Coongoola & Geodog did not find your cache today, 28 May 2021 11:41 am , while enjoying another day out adding to our tally. TFTC Slow Puncture (kindly maintained by CDAH55)
Got to GZ and our hearts sank. But after a while Patrol14 made the find.

Heading to an event and a couple of nights stay over with geocaching friends RoddyC, Snickersallan, Patrol 14 and TMZ59.
A challenge to get there and a challenge to find it. Up and down across and back. Gotcha.
Not a quick find.

Heading north for an Event and staying on a beautiful farm with geo friends hatzofff, RoddyC, patrol14 & TMZ59.
Hummmm, right in the middle says the hint, lucky patrol14 was on the ball or else I'd still be looking.
Very good hide and kind of IPS, I did make it much harder than it really was though.

Weekend away with RoddyC hatzofff Snickersallan and TMZ59 for the Mary River paddle and caching in the area.
This cache needed all of us to work out roughly where this one was then after approx 10mins I spied this one. That could have taken longer. SL then returned as found. Now to get down safely.

I drive past this spot twice a day and it was beautiful to see it from this different perspective. Well worth doing for the lovely little walk
Chamad got in contact with me yesterday to see if I had any plans for today, which I didn't, but I wasn't sure if my partner had anything planned so I had to double check with her since she likes to make plans at the last second, but luckily I got the all clear from her and was able to tag along with Chamad for an epic adventure up to Pomona. Huh, where the hell is that? I had to ask where that was because I've never heard of the place before, so I checked to see where we were going. "Wooow! That's a decent trek! But with most of the target caches being off road we decided to take Chamad's beast because my little Broom Broom wouldn't make it over a tiny pebble on a good day.
The day started extremely early and I'm NOT a morning person so it was rather difficult to get out of bed at that time (4:30am), but after some food and a decent sized coffee I felt more alive and ready for the day ahead. I meet Chamad at my local shopping centre, left my car and we made our way to Pomona.
Our target caches for the day were the Evil series and wow, they were evil, the whole area was evil. Getting bogged for several hours, walking through spider webs and getting whipped in the face by strange plants that cut up my face. Yeah.. It's an evil place that's for sure, we also picked up several trads along the way as we made our way around the area.
All in all, despite the blooded face and getting bogged it was a great day out today. At times it looked like it was going to rain, but thankfully it didn't, the tracks were already soaked with water, so we didn't really need anymore.
Thank you for placing these caches for us to enjoy. Some were more evil then others, but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience here today.

Heading up to Gympie for a work course, and managed to leave early enough to fit in a few previously unfound caches along the way.
This one has been on my to-do list for quite some time, having passed several times while traveling north but being unable to stop in for one reason or another. Usually when passing on the highway the rock bank is easily visible but the acacias have grown so tall it is now hidden from view.
Approaching GZ I'm not too proud to say it took me some time to locate the container, with many hidey holes checked before having the "a-ha" moment. I was taking it rather easy as I was paranoid about losing keys phone or GPS down a bottomless hole between rocks, and also wary of our slithery pals who are starting to become active.
Great to have this one squared away. Dropped a TB for the next finder.

Log signed at 10:33 and cache returned as found. Thanks for the smilie **Slow Puncture & CDAH55**. This log is trackable, mention where you saw it.

What are terrific spot! The climb up the hill was not too arduous. And the view is quite nice.
Today I met up with csnmasn and we headed north out of Cooroy to grab a cache or two and this was the first on the list.
After parking nearby it was a short stroll to GZ and thankfully a quick find.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

With time for "just one more" before heading back to Brisbane, I headed to this one. I managed to find a spot to park the geomobile off the road, then headed up the slope towards GZ. Once up the slope, my heart sank when I saw what awaited me. Ugh! I contemplated turning around, but then spotted something. Hmmmm. I carefully made my way there. Accurate coords made the find easy. I was soon adding my name to the log. TFTC
Parked on the grass on the highway side of the roundabout and walked back to the hill. We could see the rocky patch through the trees and headed up the slippery slope through a few spikey scrubby trees.
The GPS was not pointing to the middle, so we imagined the X and started checking under a few piles of rocks. The little container was revealed in about the 3rd spot upturned. At least it was warm in the sun to sign the log.
Slowly made our way back down, slightly worried about a repeat of a serious geocaching accident a few years ago when rocks jumped up and hit me in the face. I did not feel very sure footed with possibly the wrong shoes for rock climbing and a handful of scarf, GPS, phone and glasses....
Left SOX cap travel bug. Took bell, left dog band.

Couldn't see GZ properly from the road due to foliage. It was a quick clamber up the bank and then some mountain- goating to bring us to GZ. Here it was a quick find.
On our way back home from a wonderful sightseeing trip with our caravan from Caboolture via Rockhampton to Airlie Beach for a sailing tour to the Whitsundays. Now it's our last day and we enjoyed a little detour for caching.
This will be our last one for today.

Mr Just a Trifle was out for another day of caching with ViKoCZ to pick up a few target caches to help with various challenges The first cache for the day was Serenity on the Mountain, and depending on how it went, that would determine how many other caches would be found for the day We were lucky for the rain to have had held off until after that cache was completed, but in reality, there were only just a few short sprinkles while we were driving down the highway
Thank you Slow Puncture (LJCC) for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Parked up on some rough ground next to an electrical box and weighed the situation up. Scampered across the road and picked out the spot where I wanted to land up and kept my eye on it as I started my climb and ended up only about two feet from the cache. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
Nice to get away from Maryborough for a few days and get a few caches in this lovely part of Queensland. Thanks to Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
I drive to and from Bundaberg. A lot. My car GPS has caches on it, so as I drive ... I can see all the smilies I've previously found - and all those annoying little green boxes. I noticed this one recently also popped up on the map. Can't be having that now.
Found a way up - and oh wow. I am not good at these. I poked around the 0m mark a few times and got down at some odd angles, and was about to pack it in when I saw something different. Phew. Moving along.
Thanks for placing this cache, Slow Puncture. Found in good condition.

My plan today was leave Nanango by 0445 head to Gympie and take a couple of photos of something there then head down to Cooloola Rest then head to Warrior #10 then Warrior #8 then do the new ones on the Old Bruce Highway then head to Caboolture. Most of plan achieved. Arrived home at 1545 hours. My only DNF was on Warrior #10. It is gone me thinks.
Have now finished the series I was looking for and this one is not far from GC6RGXB. I read the description at home and had a look on Google Earth and thought I can do this one. I have to be careful climbing over rocks due to a left leg that seems to have a mind of its own thanks to an injury a long long time ago.
Found a safe off road car park and followed the instructions and began my climb up the slope to the rocks. Did the calculation and had a rough idea where Ii had to be. It seems that in no time at all I was within 2 meters of GZ according to my GPSr. So I sat down and let my hands wander and soon had the container in hand. A favourite point from me for this one. All good with this one. Now to head down to near Caboolture to find Peeling Road then head for home.

Out with geopartner for the day.
I came up to check on one of my caches which had a couple of DNF's on it.
We looked around to see what I had left to find on the Sunshine Coast and chose this one.
We arrived at GZ above the hide.
Geopartner set to work.
I managed to get down to the bottom and work my way up but Geopartner beat me to the find.
Signed the log but I think I put tomorrows date on it but I did find it today.

After making the climb up to the top of Mt Cooroora earlier in the morning our little group decided to grab a few caches on the way home as well as collect some roadside rubbish as our contribution for the CITO event at Dunethin Rock. Crookedpete is not usually trusted with the navigational responsibilities and proved why when he led 3 of us the loooong way around through the wet grass to the cache. It took us so long Vikocz had the cache found, signed and replaced before we even arrived. I didn't have this cache loaded in my GPS so I was going purely from the clue. While I was searching my phone for more info, VikoCZ kindly pointed out I was standing right next to it. How embarrassment.... TFTC
After a wet old night camping at the Dunethin Rock event, a posse, including Czech Viktor, Stairman1, SeffnJarah and my 9 year old son T.C.C-505 was formed to climb Mt Coorooral. Conspicuous, by his absence, was Swellerlump, who obviously chose to stay behind and do a bit of solo Swellerbootcamp (and cook Lady Sim bacon and eggs).
On the trip back to camp, we stopped to collect various caches including this one. I led a few on a merry trip through the long grass up a nearby rocky gully, when it turns out there is a much easier way. By the time we arrived, our overseas visitor, who chose the easy route, had made the find and re-hidden the cache. Seff then found it, and Viktor produced the logbook from a pocket for everyone to sign.
Many thanks Slow Puncture.

#4156 [10:05] we had a short break here on our way back. hint helped a lot, with that it was quick. thanks!
*FTF* @1000 #95 FTF That magical three figure is not far away
After the climb up the first part, spotted the gutter with some residual mud, a quick check revealed a pair of foot prints, I'm thinking, *too late* 2nd TF not too bad, so a blank logbook truly a surprise
Took a little searching to finally find the right spot, there are literally thousands of hides amongst the rocks, I spent most of my time removing small rocks from among the larger rocks. Anyhow found it in the most unlikely spot [^] Over thinking the hide
Just as I was about to leave the rock pile, young Novice1 turned up on his chariot, exchanged pleasantries once off the mountain.
Thanks for the new cache, don't get too many that are within striking distance, a fav point.
I had the cords a couple of metres out, but close enough.

Second to find! - I was about ten minutes behind Sweet and Sour. That is twice we have arrived at a new cache at almost the same time. Thanks
I had noticed that this cache was published and was not very far away from where I live however I had seem work to do in Maroochydore so I did not worry about it.
I arrived home at around 11:00am and noticed that no one had claimed a FTF so I decided that I might take a look and I may get lucky. This was not to be.
After arriving near GZ and finding a place to park I headed towards GZ and when in the approximate area I began to search. It was not too long before the cache as in hand. On examining the log book I noticed that Sweet-Sour had beaten me to it by 40 minutes and Novice1 had also found it making me the third to find.
All is good with this cache.
