Logs
----------### **CACHE OWNER PLEASE NOTE** ###----------Hi there Groover1989,Just wondering if you have noticed the log by 'Ecca' (30/Aug/2024 ) which indicates this cache is OK and available to be found/signed?**Whilst the log indicates things are OK, perhaps a visit just to check on things might be in order?** Please remember that cache maintenance arrangements need to be proactive, not reactive. This means **regular** visits (by the CO) to check on the cache and not relying on or expect passing seekers to fix issues or replace missing caches. Even though things may seem OK, there is still a need to remove the "Needs Maintenance" attribute - see here: [**Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon.**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and then Enable the cache - see this link: [**Temporarily Disable and Enable**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) .**I've removed the NM attribute and Enabled the cache for you on this occasion.**
----------### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###----------Hi there Groover1989,It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident. The cache has been [**temporarily disabled**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.#What you need to do:-#You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-- **Check On The Cache** - once checked, place an Owner Maintenance log and then enable the cache.- **Place A Write Note Log** - indicating a date when you expect it will be restored. - **Adopt Out or Archive** - depending on whether you want it kept or for it to disappear.Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page. You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned. It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above. Thanks for your cooperation,Bunjil (Pete & Helen)Volunteer Reviewers - Australia[3B]
Someone previous did not close cache properly. All contents have fallen into hollow of tree and are wet from yesterday's rain. Log inaccessible. Great location however and great hide item!
Clever cache container as we wandered along the path collecting caches. Thanks for the cache Groover1989.
Could see the cache as clear as day from the path, so Id say thats definitely an easy find. Signed the log and replaced the cache with a little more camouflage.TFTC
Found after a short walk around. Easy to see from the right angle. Love the hide.TFTC
Found with geocaching family, staying in the area for a few days nice hide very appropriate, a fav point TFTC
Our last day in the Albury/Wodonga today , so we are having a final outing to collect a few unfound caches and do some labs before we head off tomorrowThanks for adding to our enjoyment of visiting the area.Love itTFTC OZREG
Albury Invasion trip Day 3. After planning and months of puzzle solving it is finally time to head to Albury Wodonga for a long weekend visit. I was with Kitty Katch, FufacesLL and Joolay for this trip, but I also spent time with Sol de Lune and LuckyL10n due to space in cars. Logs for the weekend were signed CIA23 to save space. We started the day with a walk around the Riverside trail for the virtual and thew caches along the way. The second port of call was the new rail trail caches where a large group wandered along the trail visiting the caches, it is great to see this trail re-populated with caches. The second part of the day was small group caching around the area, visiting a few DNFs and other caches we had missed the day before. As before the effort put into the puzzles and all the caches in the area is really appreciated, and with so much more to do, I am sure I will be back before too long. Thanks for the cache Groover198944942.17 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2023 Rutherglen Event Morning A#517**Albida**
After a pleasant night in sheer luxury, fitzy_1965 and I were up early to take advantage of our free breakfast before joining the rest of the CIA crew for a day of caching before we all went our separate ways.We crossed the river into Victoria to meet at the start of The Crossing Place walk and did the loop before the sun got too hot. The walk itself was quite pleasant and was a good test for my hip which has not been the best of late. We targeted of the OZ trail and whatever else we came across. The logs were primarily signed as CIA (Canberra Invasion Albury) unless otherwise stated.
We joined in on the Canberra Albury Invasion or CAI fun this long weekend. After lots of puzzle solving and planning the time had come for a four day weekend of geocache hunting and hiking in and around the Albury/Wodonga area. We could not have picked a better weekend, we had great weather and avenged a couple of DNF's for us. Apologies for the generic log, thank you to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining the caches in this area, and for giving us a reason to come down the highway and visit this lovely area. Thanks for the hide Groover1989
Albury TripTime for an Aussie road trip with Joolay, albida33 and FurfacesLL plus others from the Canberra puzzling team. Thanks for the hide
Day 3 of our Albury trip. Apologising up front for the generic logs. Cannot complain about the quality and quantity here, it was a great mixture. Some are very challenging hides and some even defeated us and some of those puzzles, just glad it was more than me working on them. Looking forward to coming back. Its a perfect weekend to get out of town. Decided Albury was the place to go. Lots of lovely puzzles that we have spent time as a group working through now its time to venture down and pick up.Signing as CIA-Canberra Invasion of Albury. And apologies for generic logs. Thanks for getting me out and about Groover1989
Day 3 of our Canberra (+3) Invasion of Albury. Starting time and place had been discussed and agreed upon at Kittykatch's Event last night. There was to be a variety of cache types, D/T's and attributes covered to hopefully provide something of interest for everyone participating. All mystery caches had already been solved as a group effort on various zoom sessions before we left home. The day was sunny and hot, but everyone rose to the challenge, and all these caches were found and signed CIA. Thanks to all the COs who placed and maintained these caches. They certainly encourage me to get out and travel.
#18973; Day 3 of the Canberra Invasion of Albury 2023 weekend. Our merry band again comprised Sol de lune, albida33, Smittengranny, Kittykatch, Joolay, FurfacesLL, Barb2e, isopeda, dty73, tankengine, aykayem, minniek and fitzy_65 for another day of action today. Started the day with a wander along a part of the Crossing Place Trail, where we managed to locate and log 12 caches. It was then time to cross the border to tackle a larger section of the "OZ" trail, logs were again signed CIA23. Eighteen finds and one DNF for me along this part of the trail. Thanks to all of the cache owners for helping make a great weekend for our Canberra caching fraternity and apologies for the generic logs. TFTC Groover1989
Day 3 of the Canberra invasion weekend of Albury. Being ex an Canberran, I headed up to join in the fun of the weekend with LuckyL10n, Albida33, fitzy_1965, minniek, tankengine, dty73, Joolay, KittyKatch, Smittengranny, Isopeda, Barbe2e and FFLL.This morning we started with the loop walk around The Crossing point and then heading out to grab a few along the OZ trail. All caches were found without any issue and logs were signed CIA 23, for Canberra Invasion of Albury 2023.Thanks to all the CO's for the caches...
33,869. Found with Team CIA23 - Canberra Invasion of Albury 2023.Our caching group has been eyeing off the Albury/Wodonga area for quite some time. After many months of hard work we had solved nearly all the area's puzzles, so we set a date and headed on down. CIA23 comprised of minniek, Joolay, Kittykatch, isopeda, barb2e, FurfacesLL, Tankengine, dty73, Sol de lune, LuckyL10n, albida33, Aykayem, smittengranny and myself. For part of one day we were joined by local Cacher Happy Feet 1. What a great weekend of caching with such a fun group of people. An event on the Saturday night also helped make the trip memorable. This was now (my) Day 2 of the trip. Quick find once at GZ. Signed the log as CIA23, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one on our list. Thanks Groover1989 !!
Rutherglen Mega Road Trip
Day Four: Around Albury and Rutherglen again
Weather: At last, it doesn’t look like it could rain at any second.
I’ve heard something about a challenge for 10 finds in every LGA in Victoria. I haven’t verified this, but it sounds feasible. So with Indigo well under control and Towong stitched up yesterday, the gaze turns to Wodonga. This was one of eight caches found on the High Country Rail Trail done with two car hops. I would have loved to have done more.
Thanks for the cache groover1989.
Nice theming here. And check out the colourful cache guardian!
It’s officially a mega!

I have been Geocaching for the last year as part of team Dromaniax. We have enjoyed the Geocaching caching around a lot of Victoria in that time. From our first trip up to the Murray River, the next trip to Lake Eildon and the area around Buxton, an epic trip to the Little Desert to attack the This is SA series, then a great trip with our father to the High Country in Victoria, a trip to the Mornington Peninsula and a trip to the Albury-Hume Reservoir area.
I finally decided to set up my own account and am claiming all the caches I have found as part of Dromaniax.
Thank you for this Traditional cache Groover1989

*Found on the 15 Jan 2023 @ 11:55 am.*
*Cache find # 14026.*
I headed out on a road trip to concentrate on 3 particular LGA’s finding enough caches in each so that I will finally qualify for a particular challenge cache.
I was passing by this one so I stopped, it was long before the cache was found and the log was stamped.
**Thanks to Groover1989 for placing this cache.**

Another fantastic day with beautiful weather for caching. The muggle nephew has chosen to be a muggle no more, so Simplylookin was heading out looking for caches with us today.
A day of cycling was planned, and hopefully, a good collection of caches to be found.
Rail Trails make for awesome caching; you can walk or cycle along and don't need to worry so much about traffic.
We had a quick find here of a cache in excellent condition.
Thank you for this Traditional cache, OZREG.

Was out picking up caches along this trail on my bike today. Cool container here! Enjoyed this one. Tftc!!
This one was a good one, kids loved the container my little one wanted to keep it lol
The write note below indicates the Transfer/Adoption of this cache to Groover1989. This now means I must log cache as a find, merely to rid the green icon in exchange for a smilie one. I wish Groover1989 and partner all the best for this hide and any other future hides. Reg
Out today for a spot of riding on my bike. A 4 hour round trip including caching. I would have been out for longer if I didn't have to return and get to a caching event at the Kinross this afternoon. Beautiful winter weather for a long ride and the best thing about winter is no snakes!
Loved this big boy!

Found this one on a walk along the rail trail. Had a good laugh at the camouflage, very good. TFTC
We often travel down this way, but usually are on a tight timeline to get where we are going.
This time we needed to travel to the area for a family occasion so it was a great opportunity to catch up with many of our relatives but sneak in some caching in between. We will hopefully be back soon to do some more extensive work on the rail trails as they look quite appealing. Our short trips out in the Hume Weir area were quite picturesque.
We must get back and look for the rest of the caches on this trail. A great place for bikes, but this wasn't possible this time so we walked.

We have taken Reggie the TB out of this cache because no one was game enough to take him out of the the hide, and place him in their pocket. Maybe it was all the restrictions catnap777 placed on the TB she produced for her partner. Sorry for all the stipulations l had to place on this TB, but if l ever lost my Reggie (TB), l would be devastated. How much can a Koala bear?! We will take him on a trip to regional Victoria next week and leave him there to wander the countryside.
Truck has been updated from Matchbox to Tonka. Also, Catnap has dropped into the cache a Superspecial TB.
Oh nice Geo kid was about to dismiss this one but told to have another look TFTC
Found with Sebass and AKM... Signed as Kayak Cachers! We did have a much larger group, but they all bombed out with punctures! Those 3 corner jacks are everywhere! - I think the council needs to pick them up! I also received a puncture, but managed to repair it, and ride back to the start, collecting at least some of these. Thanks for the cache it was a nice ride while it lasted!
With a couple of puzzles solved, we headed to Albury/Wodonga with Roostaman
to see how many we could pick up. It was a nice sunny day, perfect for caching.
Thanks to all the CO's - all caches were found in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, OZREG, for us and others to find.
We parked the car and jumped out for a walk. We were greeted by some rather large mob of roos who weren’t to scared osbus at all. Junior Ez found the cache and he like it a lot. Unfortunately it was soggy and wet, we added our name, just. Will need replacing. TFTC Cheers
