On a road trip around the wheatbelt areas of Western Australia for a few weeks. We are enjoying the many friendly towns along the way, whether staying in the CP’s or camping out. So far, we have found every cache that we have looked for, and hopefully our streak will last as we move around to the next town and beyond. Thank you so much to the CO’s of every cache for placing them for our enjoyment. They certainly bring you to many spots that you might not stop at otherwise.
Spent quite a bit of time here exploring and enjoying the surrounds. Very special area. Answers sent.

We headed out to this superb rock formation this morning and went for a great stroll from the camping area around to the wave formation. Fascination vegetation and certainly some most worthy of being photographed. Trails of ants crossing the track and the bird sounds added to a great morning. Stopped for lunch at the camping ground before heading off to Bobbie Rock. Thanks for setting up this Earth cache Chrisval7.

Out for a wheatbelt road trip after the COVID travel restrictions have been lifted. With WAGB20 being cancelled in the pandemic, an invite to join others to celebrate the long weekend was perfect.
First night was camping at Elachbutting Rock with Barnzy12 and Cravo10 where we hit some great finds, beautiful locations and had fun on the dirt tracks weaving our way whilst caching out to Kwolyin Rock for the second night where we met up with a nice crew of fellow geocachers to enjoy sitting around a large campfire sharing stories. I have lost count of the rocks Ive climbed - but my body says many
I then head off on my own caching along the way to Northam where I spent a couple more days hunting through beautiful Toodyay and York and surrounds.
A huge thank you to all the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. The places I have seen and the fun I have had are testament to why I love this game so much. Its been a big 5 days and I am pooped but I have loved every minute!

Had a great couple of days away travelling the Wheatbelt. We got as far north as Beacon, as Far East as Elachbutting Rock and as far south as Kwolyin.

We spent the first night af Elachbutting Rock with Geotrakka and the second night with around ten teams at Kwolyin.

We metup with Richlink to attempt some high terrain caches near Mukinbudin, where multiple people was a nescessity for safety purposes.

We enjoyed travelling the backroads, camping under the stars and seeing amazing sights without all the people.

Great weekend away and have uploaded a bunch of pictures with the logs.

Thanks to the COs far and wide for their caches and a great weekend.

After camping at the very peaceful Mukinbudin Caravan Park last night we headed off on day 2 of our Wheatbelt Tour.

This weekend has been some time in the planning and we were heading up this way to drive the Wheatbelt Way Trail and collect geocaches along the route. We also had GCA caches, Waymarks and Sighters on the radar which should break up the trip nicely. We had no set plans for accommodation and we decided that we would see where we ended up each day to set up camp. This cache was one that we targeted on our mini adventure. Cheers and TFTC.

Day 8 our Adventure to the northern Goldfields and now in the Wheatbelt. After a night freecamping at Biliburning Rock we explore the Wheatbelt Way. Before setting up for tonight’s camp at Beringbooding, megawat60 and I went for a drive to Elachbutting. A totally awesome place and next time we may camp there.
Will write answers and sent them through when in better internet coverage.
Thanks for this great Earthcache, a favourite point from me!

We camped here overnight and went for a walk across the rock to the wave formation and tunnel yesterday afternoon. We have stayed here before about 8 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience so we came back again.
It certainly is an impressive rock and the wild flowers aren't too shaby either although they were better last time we were here.

This was the eastern limit of our travels (which is weird coming from the east coast). I will email later but explored the area, had lunch, went to top and saw Red Capped Robin and three little emus. Was great thanks.

We love it here. TFTC.

We tried for about 1/2 hr while waiting for the sun to go down but as there are no clues as to what we were to look for and because the area was covered with broken branches, we, to our dismay, could not find anything.

This trip out had been a long time in the planning.
Krabiboy and I had hatched a plan and probably changed it about 10 times. dallyho joined us, final plans were set, and off we went

Anders will be sent when back in Perth. A great spot again

Our Wheatbelt trip started again this morning in Bencubbin after heading from Perth yesterday. We headed north to Beacon and then east to Bonnie Rock and Mukinbudin.

A massive monolith out here, a great spot for an earth cache. We managed to get what we needed and were on our way again.

TFTC Chrisval7.

Chrisval7, I found your cache Elachbutting Rock Dreaming on 6/08/2016.
This is my find #2929 and find #11 today.
