Awesome find

06-Nov-20
I am not in a happy mood today so I decided caching might help me. I spent a good 10 mins looking for that cache. Even more frustrated that someone had found it yesterday. Just as I was about to give up, heavy-hearted, I turned around and there it was. Thank you for brightening my day by giving me something to do to pass the time.

05-Nov-20
Yay, second cache attempt became a success.

02-Nov-20
Closest park I could get was 200 meters from GZ. Walked down yo the board walk then along the beach. Low tide. Ducked under at 1.5 meters yo go and sat on a rock and unbelievably there was the eclipse tin. Log is a bit ragged but usable. Appended my YOF. TFTC

Nice and quick this one

Midday is a good time to find caches in Airlie Beach Big Grin
Only mad dogs, Englishmen, and back packers go out in it Razz
With back packers being in short supply at the mo' !!
There was no one to disturb me troll eviction duties Smile

An easy find out of sight of the beady eye of the nearby sentinel [^]

05-Sep-20
Heya, great cache, thanks so much! We noticed the paper is shredded and almost out of space, unfortunately we didn’t bring any spare so couldn’t add any.

31-Aug-20
Tftc, council muggle was spraying the boardwalk with smelly stuff. Waited him out then pretended we were trolls

30-Aug-20
Nice find!!

28-Aug-20
Found it with my daughter. The tin was empty (except for the log) and she wanted to leave “a bit of the sea inside for the next person to find” so enjoy it whoever you are.

27-Aug-20
Great hife and location. Nicely tucked away. Thanks and fav point.

23-Aug-20
We came across a group of trolls on the plains. They had been robbed and I can take a guess at who did it. Troll teeth are made of diamond. It’s a gutsy criminal to go after the tooth of a troll which would be more than capable of removing the arms of the assailant. The chase continues.

23-Aug-20
We arrived in Airlie Beach around lunch time and decided to see a bit of the place while finding some caches. We headed down to the beach and began to poke around while people walked past overhead. Had it pretty soon. Thanks for the cache

Proserpine - Bowen
An early morning start to to Airlie Beach to cache before moving to Bowen.
The seascape along the coast is really amazing, the water was a brilliant blue. I can understand why people like to have their holidays here. We enjoyed our walk along the boardwalk & then our drive along the coast finding caches.
Thanks for placing this amazing series Blain-Fam

20-Aug-20
Our second day in Proserpine at the RV Free camp, with today being a visit to airlie beach. Not used to the hot weather yet today being 30C. Nice walking along the walkways and beautiful scenery towards the witsunday islands.

On a work stopover at Airlie beach, we used the excuse to get some after work exercise to find some caches (or was it do some caches to get some exercise) in this lovely part of Australia. Absolutely lovely walk along the ocean front to find this tricky to obtain cache due to not only its location but the muggle exercise junky muggles.
After locating where the cache was a quickly well timed retrieve was had. Thanks for making an after work exercise opportunity so enjoyable. TFTC

19-Jan-20
No trolls here. But we did cache maintenance as ESCO and BenM70 had the same container in the car. Lucky. Great trip from Townsville.

Out and about caching with BenM70 and greencordial. With time to kill before dinner we thought we would clean up a few of the local caches. I knew what we were looking for here and we soon had the cache in hand. Container maintenance performed (because what serious cacher doesn’t have a spare... even if full of original contents, just lying around) and returned to its original GZ. Beautiful scenery, awesome beaches, great caches!! what more could one want? TFTC Blain-Fam

Out and about with Mornington and enjoying the weather and the Airlie beach atmosphere.

Under the boardwalk, we'll be havin' some fun,
Geocaching freely under the sun.
Under the board walk and so well hid,
But now, alas, it needs a lid.

Coming to the end of of cruise from Singapore, nibletricecakes and I decided to wander this port stop and collect as many caches as we could. Lovely walk back to the ship ?? TFTC.

06-Dec-19
A very cool walk and a NFF. TFTC

In port today with the Carnival Splendor, on it’s maiden voyage from Singapore to Sydney. Rather than take a tour K8TYBEE and I decided to tackle the local caches along the beach, bay and creek. Both coming down with tonsilitis, it was a long and hot walk, but we were rewarded with magnificent views and a real sense of the town. Thanks to everyone who planted and maintains these caches so we can have a fun day out like this!!

While staying in Bowen we opted for a drive to beautiful Airlie Beach and enjoyed a great day caching in this tropical paradise

There is a ramp onto the beach only a few metres away so can be a reasonably easy find.

Many thanks for the hide Blain-Fam

Found. Bit tricky

15-Sep-19
Continuing on my solo afternoon adventure I soon found myself wandering down the boardwalk. I took some time to read about the spring and the funky replica hand pump close to GZ and then once the muggles had passed I went to hunt for trolls. They must have been off catching fish as I didn't bump into one! I did find a cache though Smile

Thanks for the cache Blain-Fam Big Grin

15-Sep-19
