### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process. It certainly needs to be checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating, or the posted coordinates.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute that is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by The Keogh's and to take it off the playing board to prevent further inconvenience to our Geocaching Community.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been taken by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will conclude that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition and waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayang -GeoffCommunity Reviewer
Could it have been swallowed by the sand dune good 15 minutes but no luck for us. TFTH anyway MM
We searched high and low for a good 20 mins, but no rock was revealing itself today, we think the dune may have consumed the geocache, might be worth a check, thanks for bringing us here becknmonts
No luck for us today. Searched for 10 minutes and then searched a little more. Thanks for bringing us here regardless.
Another day of geocaching in Geraldton. There were no different hiding places to find. Thanks to hints or spoiler pictures, most of them were very easy to find.
Thanks for the caches.
Thanks for the caches.
After about 6 attempts I can finally (via a newbie who spotted first) put this DNF to rest
This one took us a long time as the description seemed to indicate that the cache was accessible without leaving the path. In fact the best way to access the cache without trampling the vegetation is from the beach side, and we found it up in the vegetation a few metres South West of GZ. A very cool cache container. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful beach. TFTC
Out and about exploring Geraldton this afternoon. Nice beach and a nice easy find. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Finally found it after messaging the owner
Erosion have drastically changed shape of beach, such a beautiful place. Loving those cache a stone away from where I live. Tftc

Had a good look, like 2 other feet but came up empty handed. Much sand movement since recent storms. We’ll be back.
Found it. TFTC becknmonts. Happy to make the find here, Took far too long but got it eventually. Replaced as found
SirFancy and the geo-twins had no luck here while I was further up the path.
I joined in the hunt and the kids got distracted from the search by a passing train.
I had just started to PAF when SirFancy picked up the find.

Day two of a northern adventure with Mr’s Z, T & B and SirFancy.
Today was a day off two halves all around Geraldton.
The morning was spent walking around Point Moore and West End before retreating to the accommodation for lunch and a swim.
The afternoon was our numbers run for the day completing the series along Alexander Drive, grabbing a couple of mysteries and having a run around at the foreshore.
Today I finished with 25 finds, 7 adventure labs and 2 DNF’s.
• • • • •
Thanks The Keogh's for placing Greys - Team Pathfinder for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 09:47 on 10/4/2022.
This is find number 4352 for me.

Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!
(I’m not a geologist I just like puns)
Caching in the Greater Geraldton area today. Our intention for the day was to attack some power trails and do map cleanup around town.
I actually found the coordinates to be fairly accurate. A reasonably quick find of a cute cache. Cheers The Keogh's!

Day 3 of the road trip with the boys C10,B12,L1.77 - lots of laughs and perhaps a little therapy will be needed after this trip. But one thing is for sure - I am determined to get a few more yellows on the map on my final full day here in Gero. Many thanks to the COs for the mix of caches. Sorry for the genetic log
Beautiful fresh air this morning with a great view. Nice hide Thanks TPF

Up and down the dunes at sunset. Thanks for the hide and for the log that suggested 7m Sw.
Another visit after 3 years and still no luck. Started our 2nd tour of WA now touring around the south slowly heading north on our way home to Cairns. Did your Greys - Team Pathfinder today. 26 February 2022 3:24 pm Tyfc becknmonts total caches now 4329 .
Enjoying a long, hot, weekend up in Geraldton Picking up a few caches while here, and even better converting a few previous DNFs into smileys This was one that I stopped off at today and was a DNF from last year. Back then the weather was terrible and the vegetation here was soaking wet, I was soaking wet searching, and eventually came up empty handed. Today it is blazing hot! My GPS again took me to the same area of dunes as last time. And again I was having no luck. The description clearly stated it wasn't in the fenced off area so started to look further afield. I knew what I was looking for from a previous pic and after a good few minutes looking around I finally spotted the camo. The coords are definitely out here - **I made the find 7m SW from where my GPS was pointing**. The placement is indeed outside the dune vegetation and much easier to access than the places I'd previously been searching. Very pleased to finally put a smiley here - TFTC
No luck. Been struggling with dune caches recently. Not sure if the recent winds have buried it a bit
Third time lucky thanks to some help from one of the CO’s. Cache deserves a favourite for its well done camo
###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Investigate the situation and either restore the cache, or address any other issues, such as correcting the D/T rating if necessary.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done, and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary, or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this, that is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by %CO% and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is there, and in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.

No luck here today, wasn’t sure if I needed to still look for a rock or something else, but either way nothing found.
No luck here today. Lots of rocks up in the dunes which was where the GPS took us. Rocks broke away trying to scramble. Another time!
Out early searching for caches before leaving for Shark Bay in a couple of hours. Quick find TFTH
Second time back and spotted it instantly. A lot harder to put it back than retrieving
Wow this was a tricky one but it is there and all is well. And a trackable to go with it! We are stoked to be moving it on to another close cache by the sea shortly! Tftc !
Replaced cache container and camo as it seems it has gone. Updated coordinates.
Coordinates changed from:
S 28° 47.026 E 114° 35.176

Lost 3mm of skin to today's light breeze
GPS moving along the beach, but maintained that the cache was inside the protected sand dune area. So took a few guesses at beach-side rocks, but no go. Next time!

Doing a check on caches and a little exercise, cache still in position and accessible without going through the dune restoration area.
Early this morning, I did a nice walk on the bike path and trying to do some geocaching, but it ws not a good day for caching...many DNF, many cache on non accessible area becaus it's close and few other cache seem missing...

Gz shows it is on the dunes where access is prohibited think it needs to be removed if thstvis the case.
Nice camo a favourite for workmanship all is good with the cache on a on a road trip from Tassie TFTC
On a 4 day drive to the warmer weather, stopping in at Kalbarri, Denham, monkey Mia, Carnarvon and Gascoyne junction.
Hoping for 2 LGA’s that we’re missed on the last trip this way and to clean up the map.
Travelling with the usual suspect Barnzy12
The Keogh's We found your cache Greys - Team Pathfinder thanks for placing this cache for myself and others to find.

Took our new Geo pup for her first walk tonight and checked in on this after a string of DNFs. Happy to report Cache is still in position.
After some time we still could not find. I would consider upgrading this cache container to a small or medium size purely due to the fact that it's on a beach and could easily be lost.
Was on a roll after dinner but came back down to reality with this hide
After gleaning a pretty good hint from the description we just couldn't locate the cache.
Didn't help it was pitch black and blowing a gale. Will be back during daylight
Thanks for the hide anyway

Made several attempts from above and below without entering the revegetation area. Once found I realised I had circled it several times. No need to climb the fence. TFTC
After Seeing a maintenance run I thought ooo maybe I have a better chance today so with miss 12 had a pupil free day we headed out to walk the dog. no luck the first time then as we were leaving I saw another path down to beach that had me thinking maybe so after a confirming with the co we tried it from a different direction and didn't need to go anywhere near the conservation area. even tho the large dog did get a little excited and stop around a bit higher than was needed.
ps the description really does say it all

Cache is still in position if you take the designated walk path down to the beach it is accessible without having to go through any of the dune restoration areas. Changed the log sheet.
took a shot at getting the smiley for this cache while doing a cache run with new friends Cravo10 & Barnzy12 after the GC791W8 - International Geocaching Day 2017 Event in Geraldton W.A.
Unfortunately we were unable to claim our smiley for this cache.

On a few days' camping cross geocaching trip. After a short search the prize was found. tftc sl tnln
Beautiful coast and a clever hide! Unfortunately the log was quite damp. TFTC
Had a hoot finding this one and it is in very good condition. Enjoyed finding out about its history The Keogh's. Thanks for bringing us here and setting up the cache. Careful not to damage the vegetation here.
What do you do when you have a couple of minutes to spare before a dentist appt and an empty calendar day? Yes indeed find a geocache. Well. But when the CO is Ian and Sue and they write something like "we are not like that" you know usually they are up to somthing. Well I read the description completely first but of course ended up only a couple of meters from the cache but the not accesible side so to say. So a little detour and I spotted the cache pretty quick. Nice easy find, thanks Ian and Sue.
Found you nicely camo'd cache today but it has been muggled. The container was empty so we have put a new logbook inside TFTC.
We have just returned to Perth from a 1400km wildflower tour of our WA countryside and, when the opportunity permitted, grabbing a few caches along the way. One member of our travel party was admitted to the Geraldton Hospital for a couple of days so we filled in some time while here lookin for a few caches. This was No 6 for the day and by far the most enjoyable.
Thanks for the cache becknmonts

After we checked into our accomodation we hopped back into the car to take a look around and grab a couple of caches before it go too late. Nice hide here thanks becknmonts.
Enjoying the journey with iluvtrekking as we head towards Geraldton. So many great spots to check out along the way. After checking into our nearby accommodation, we headed out to grab a few more finds while there was light. Found by torchlight. Thanks beckmonts
