After my previous DNF I was given details of where to search but when we checked there today we found the spot full of water and no sign of a cache. So many other DNFs lately and no response to NM log
21/8/19 1:44 pm Find #2689
Desperate for “just one more”, I headed here from the previous find. It’s nice in the middle of the week to come to a park and find nobody around - makes for looking without seeming like a complete idiot much easier. I’m sure I still looked like a twit, but no one was around to see at least.
I did think the clue alluded to another type of dancing I guess... no I don’t tend to attempt that either - but had no joy finding the cache there. Expanding my search options a little further and I soon located the cache, obviously a slightly larger replacement for the original, which may also explain why my idea of what the hint meant didn’t fit.
Log signed and it was time to head homeward bound.
Thanks for the cache dunderclumpin.

Found the battered and very rusty tin which would not open. We replaced it with a new tin and new log. However because the area is not dry, it is bound to become waterlogged again.
TFTC smile 4019 found on the 25 th December 2018 0n my way to new year event that was held at Kilkiven and for got to log the log sheet is very wet the eclipse tin is rusty needs a lot of TLC but thanks for the cache
Clan-mess and I had to cut the search short beca u ae of the rain. We will come back another day.
Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Jemillalucy, Bennyboppers and Lisylou). Container is rusted and hard to open. Tricky hide. TFTC!
Found with bennyboppers mnance101 and jemillalucy today. A little tricky but followed clues and hints and got it. Tftc
Looking for the wrong dance, until I saw it and the name connection got a smile now. Tftc
Wandering around the Woodford area for the afternoon and found ourselves at this interesting park. Looks good for a run around and bbq.
We thought we figured out the hint fairly quickly but still could night quite understand the location. With help from a previous log reinforcing the apt name of the cache, I bravely reached somewhere and got my hands on it.
The log is a wet lump, so added a new piece of paper outside the soaking plastic baggie for a temporary log.

After much looking we finally got to GZ. Located the tin but unable to sign the log as completely saturated. It needs new log and container. We did enjoy the hunt.
Our last day in Caboolture decided to head west towards Woodford.
Visited many locations we had not been before, lots of great hides.
The last cache we nearly gave it a miss as there had been a couple of DNFs on it. Spotted a likely area then wandered away but returned to where our GPS said was GZ,
Further inspection revealled the cache. We then gave a name to the dance mentioned in the hint.
Thanks for placing this cache

Spent an hour looking for this one which included some PAFs. Ew! Not impressed with their suggestions of where the cache is. I'm not sure whether we are allowed to even touch that.
Anyway, thanks dunderclumpin. Nice place but I think I'll use the ignore button for this one.

Thursday. It was the SP's 32nd anniversary today, so what better way to celebrate than with a spot of caching?
This was the 27th of 27 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***dunderclumpin***, for showing us this place.

971, Marvin Gaye released his eleventh studio album What's Going On. The concept album consisting of nine songs tells the story from the point of view of a Vietnam veteran returning to the country he had been fighting for, and seeing only hatred, suffering, and injustice. What's Going On is regarded as one of the landmark recordings in pop music history, and one of the greatest albums of the 20th century.

Thursday. Mrs SP was out with Mrs JAT, looking to clean up the rest of the recently-planted Roses...and on the way back we stopped into this nemesis cache.
We had previously been at this cache and had a good look (we had a fair idea where to look given the hint and the type of cache container this was. No luck again today and I was with Mrs JAT. We took a photo of the spot and PAF’d a previous finder who confirmed we were definitely looking in the right spot. Will place this one on our Watch List.
This was the only DNF we had on this trip.
Thanks ***dunderclumpin***, for showing us this place anyway, hopefully we will be back! Can the CO please check this to confirm the container still exists?

Found this one all good here, just make sure you follow the clue and be thorough in your search. All though be careful as there is a paper wasp nest close by under a bbq which are not happy if disturbed.
While camped at Neurum Creek Bush Retreat for a few days, decided to go out and find some caches in the area. Arrived at GZ and searched all likely hides but couldn't find this one. Since this has a history of going missing, maybe a visit from CO to check if it is still there.
Nice park.
Nice park.
We have placed a new container and log beside the old one. Not sure how long it will stay dry.

Cache urgently needs maintenance, log totally ruined and unusable, container rusting out.
Think hard about the hint, name definitely suits the cache, however it is in great need of maintenance (log book waterlogged and damaged).
Monday. Both Slow Punctures were out in the Wamuran/D'Aguilar area in search of caches. We pulled in here and thought to ourselves "this will be a doddle" - after all, how many places could it hide in? How wrong we were! After a good 20 minutes of searching, we gave up. A later call to a previous finder suggested to us that we had been looking right at it - there are none so blind as those who will not see! [xx(]
This was the only DNF we had on this trip.

I am sure that it is there but the cache has beaten us today. Dances? Can't think of too many tap pole and fan come to mind even table top dancing had to leave it as lunch at the Dag pub was calling.
Nothing like a drive in the country look for a cache or two and a nice lunch thanks for the opportunity we will be back to see if we can turn that frown into a smilie

Unfortunately the cache is 'still' saturated.
Perhaps a CO visit with a more waterproof container & contents would be helpful.

Having secured FTF on nearby Catalexis we decided to chase down a few more smilies while enjoying the sunshine & a country drive.
Geo-Mamma went for this one while I stayed with Winter the Geo-Cat, in the Geo-Beast, & caught up on our notes.
While it did take a couple of minutes this was a relatively easy find.
Well done Geo-Mamma!
The cache certainly fits well with it's name & the hint. LOL ...
Also, in keeping with the theme, the contents were saturated!
A little CO TLC & perhaps a more waterproof container would be helpful.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Took us a little while but the mcglynns have still got it! The log is wet but we've packed it up as best we could to save it. Nobody around today and the mini's enjoyed a play at the park when they were tired of searching.
Found it at 1.25pm on 5th April 2017 with pirate first mate geo grandson. Very clever hide. Done one like this in New zealand. Tftc. find number 553 for me.

10:04:00 AM. Took me a few minutes of searching and reading old logs to make the find. Hint didn't help me. Log signed and cache rehidden. Very sneaky hide. Thanks dunderclumpin for the cache.
We are super excited to be out grabbing a few caches this arvo, we had all intentions to make a few finds yesterday arvo while geo-teens were at the cinemas and dinner with friends, but we had just bought the Switch and that changed all priorities!!!
Mrs 4ando (and I'm sure there will be an amazing amount of people that will be going "oh my god she has never played it!!!") just discovered her new all time favourite game, Bomberman!
There was no time for caching yesterday Mr 4ando needed to be blown up:)
Getting to this cache was just like Bomberman, twists and turns everywhere, first we parked not in the right place, then took the wrong path but we got there eventually:)
Took us quite a bit of searching and reading previous logs but like any true Nintendo character we turned up the goods:)
I'm sure Mr 4ando thought he was still on fire from being blown up!

I met up with stortigirls to find a few caches after she finished work. We had been to this one before, but were muggled out by a group of local teenagers who decided to arrive here a few minutes after we did. Today, we had the area to ourselves. We searched a few spots before I decided to go with my hunch from last time we were here. Oh, there it is. We added our names to the logbook, returned the cache to its hiding spot, then continued on our way. TFTC
I snuck out with Selva Girls for a couple of caching hours after work. Today we revisited this cache; having been muggled out by a group of tweens on bikes last time who arrived after us and just would NOT leave Today the coast was clear, so we hunted around, running everything we could see in front of the word dance....hmmmm. Turns out it actually was the first thing we thought of, we just didn't look thoroughly enough. Selva Girls came up with the goods while I was busy wasting time looking in the wrong place. What a lovely location! I was very tempted to jump in the pond. It was sweltering today.
Wombles and myself wandered around a bit, looked at the hint, read past logs but still couldn't manage to spy the well hidden beasty. Wombles had another look and noticed something we hadn't seen before. Happily she pulled the container from it's hidey hole. We left our marks and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache dunderclumpin

This took us way longer then it should have. Lots of reading of previous logs and then all it took was a change of angle!
We were a bit tempted to swim in the pond, it was so hot today!

This one took us ages to find. There were some muggles letting their dogs have a swim in the dam, but we were mostly out of their view. Our main hindrance was that Marco had a more adult form of dancing in mind which altered where we were searching. Eventually I had a light bulb moment and put two and two together and figured it all out. Great hide and great hint - a favourite point from me. TNLNSL TFTC
Back home after a couple of weeks caching, camping, and 4wding. Catching up on all the logs.
All credit goes to Mrs Bundy for this find. She nutted it out, where I was still wandering in circles. It all makes sense, once you find it.
Cheers

Heading homeward, stopped in on a few spots for a few finds. This hide took some finding. In the end spied the container from the right angle. Not being in the know re dances, this clue meant little to me. Not to worry, all I was after was the find in this beautiful park. TFTC dunderclumpin.
Found at 1054. After doing a quick search Marg decided to read the logs. Many of the said that the clue proved to be a lot of help. so I had some rethinking and narrowed my searched and the cache was found in no time. TFTC.
Next one on my list. This one has been on my radar for awhile now. Left Nanango at 0400 and was in Woodford very early so that I could finally have a go at Yatesville. Arrived here at 0530. Parked up on the road and walked down to area of GZ. I had scoped this area out once before but there were people in the shelter and at the BBQ so then we went for a walk and looked for something that suited the additional hint. Mrs youngoldfella sugested something and that is what I went for this search and of course as in a lot of cases the Cache name says it all. Very clever hide and a very good hint but you have to think outside the box. Had to use my torch so I could see to sign the log. Not sure if I used youngoldfella or YOF. YOF is used on small log sheets to save space on paper. TFTC dunderclumpin.
Tftc. Took me longer than it should have, but the clue was the final help. After lots of thinking.
Oh, how many wasted hours in my youth suffering these lessons! Other forms I loved, but this one? Absolutely hopeless!! Another lovely tranquil little park. TFTC
IolantheK and I stopped in here after riding the rail trail and completing the Coat of Arms today. Located GZ quickly, but the container took a bit of searching.
Just as I retrieved it and we sat at the convenient shelter to sign, a nosy old bloke with a fluffy dog cane over for a sticky beak. After a brief explanation by IolantheK, I returned the container and we moved on.

Out and about with Dutchie1950 today After meeting up at the usual spot this morning we headed west to Caboolture.
This afternoon we headed out to Woodford. A pretty spot here, and we had no trouble making the hint work, but the cache was a little elusive. Dutchie eventually laid hand to the container. TFTC, dunderclumpin.

# 1367 - After a long break it was time for a play-day with IolantheK again. As she had to collect a few smileys on the north side we took off after meeting at our usual meeting place for, what was to be, a rather fruitful day.
IolantheK very quick made the connection to the cache name and the hint, but after a bit of searching it was yours truly who found the little container.

Having found a few of your caches in the past, I headed out with geopartner to find this one.
The notification came out while I was at work.
Arriving at GZ, we looked for quite a while before the sneaky cache was found.

And the geo wife rho and I set out on our adventure for the day. We contemplated for a while normally my geo sense was spot on but not in this one, gulliverstravels54 and cantcacheus2014 turned up at the perfect time and with all our minds connected we fished out the eclipse tin from its awesome hiding spot.
Thoroughly enjoyed this one and the best urban find so far first one to really stump me

Off for another ftf mission, Ozpokemasters picked me up and off we went we were searching high and low, and searched for over an hour. We were just about to give up when a car pulls up and two guys get out. We instantly knew they were after the same as us so after introductions we all were looking and then in a few mins we had cache in our hot little hands. We let out such a sigh of relief that we finally found it. We were cm off finding it at one stage. Tftc
**FTF** Joint First to find with Gullivers Travels54, Robocacher, and Ozpokemaster. As we were driving up to Gz we saw some heads bobbing around in the area of Gz. Mr GT54 and I pulled up and walked over and introduced ourselves and began the hunt. We knew from a thorough analysis on the way up what to expect and within a couple of minutes I pulled the cache from its hide and called out 'found it'. A nice surprise for RC and OPM after their efforts no doubt. Happy as always to go joint ftf as we were all on the hunt and had a bit of fun. Nice to meet you all. Now it's time to go find the archived caches we were on the hunt for. What could be better than FTF and archived finds in a day. Love this game. Tftc
