Logs
Thanks so much for organising. It was lovely to meet a few fellow cachers.
As there is another event planned for this location I'm archiving this one. In line with the guidelines http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx?expand=1#event , events are to be archived once the event is over (though you normally get a bit more time). They do not need to be left open as people can log the event when it is archived.
Rgds,
Matt - Ministro.

was a good night to get together with some familiar faces and to meet some new ones. thanks Venn family for putting the event on. xxx
Great night was had by all. Nice meeting fellow cachers face to face rather than associate them with a geocaching name on a log, learning new things and how other people enjoy and suffer various obstacles just to earn a Smilie. Look forward to the next one. Thanks Blair for organising it all.
Thanks Blair for organising this event. Geo son, daughter and I had a lovely time. Great to meet up with fellow Geocachers. Look forward to the next event. :^)
Thanks again for this event - it was great to catch up with so many local cachers.
As I drove home, I noticed that tonight was a full moon. You know, all the crazy people come out when it is a full moon!

Thanks Blair for organising a great event! Really good to meet people in person after reading all your logs and trying to find all your caches for the last few months!!
It was awesome to finally put faces to cachers names. Awesome night full of stories, laughs, good food and good company. Great to finally give the long awaited hug to the vegancachers Dennis and Linda. Thanks Blair for bringing us all together and organising tonight. Congratulations on you milestone of 800 as well.
Thanks Blair for organising this event we had a great time it was great to put faces to names
I realised after logging my finds on Sunday night that we were sitting on 798 finds so I decided to find just one cache during the day, making this event our 800th cache!
And what a great event it was. Thanks to everyone who came along. It was great to catch up with some familiar faces and put faces to names that we see in logs around the place.
Let's do it again next month

Being a shy, timid type I was a little reluctant at first to log our Will Attend but with support & encouragement from my lovely wife & caching partner, Linda, I put on my brave face & we rolled the Geo-beast into the 'Pub' (inside joke guys & gals LOL ...) carpark & with only mild trepidation went forth into the unknown.
We entered the foyer & wondered if there were any early-birds as we had been stalling our arrival so as not to seem too keen or attract any undue attention, you know, turn up kinda mid-stream & just quietly blend in.
Well it was NOT to be!
On entering the dining area we realised that EVERYBODY else was here already, some had even chowed down or managed to obtain liquid refreshment in anticipation of an exciting night to come.
I had noticed, on the way here, that it was a full moon tonight & was a little nervous as to how we would be received by the party animals in the group (& on doing a quick scan of the room there were several! LOL ...).
Trying to keep a low profile we slipped over to the table & greeted the host & were fortunate enough to find two empty seats so we unobtrusively seated ourselves & tried to maintain our cloak of invisibility without being sat on.
Many friendly (it would seem) faces new & old, past acquaintances, new faces responsible for many belly laughs while reading logs & answering PAFs, emails & private messages & quite a few new faces matched to names which had been haunting us for some time now.
Anywho ...
Great conversations on all things caching, friendly banter & a level of camaraderie that was a pleasure to behold.
It was fantastic to see the broad range of experienced & not so (as yet) rubbing shoulders & sharing stories.
It was also a time for adding a couple of names to THAT list!
Yes, Mitchie, you made THAT list! LOL ...
Past promises of hugs & restitution were made good tonight as well as future rendezvous of the caching kind.
Congratulations to the **vennfamily** on their milestone 800th cache!
What better way to pull it off than to be King & Queen for the evening!
We thoroughly enjoyed the evening & the company of ALL present (now THAT's a first! LOL ...) & look forward to another play date soon!
Alas, now it is time to depart!
There are trees to climb, letterboxes to ransack & all manner of night-time deeds to be done!
**Congratulations, vennfamily, on a great event indeed!**
No cliquey groups or hiding in corners, just a great group of like-minded crazies out to enjoy each others' company under a beautiful bright full moon!
P.S. Now that we've managed to overcome our shyness we would like to log our Will Attend for next month!

Once I knew this event was here, I decided I would come along if I was not away at the time. So I took a look at the area, and since I had a few puzzles nearby got them worked out this morning.
After lunch I left home and worked my way through some of the puzzles and looked at a couple of other caches along the way, soon having 7 puzzles and 1 multi logged.
An enjoyable event, great to meet some new faces and catch up with some friends. Before heading off for a late night raid on a couple of other caches in the Manly area.

It's good to see a rush of last minute RSVPs. Hopefully it'll be a great night tonight. See you all there
I will have with me a decent selection of old screw top containers from home, most of them between 400ml and 1litre in size. I want to share around so if you want a couple and promise to hide them in the bush somewhere.
I have booked a table for 6:15pm for 20 people. The booking is under the name Blair Venn
Oh how sad, 3rd Monday of the Month and that is the only night I have a regular meeting to go to. Maybe next time I will make it.
At this point in time there should be no reason for me not to be able to make it along.
I plan to attend, will be bringing the two members of TheWilkinsGang with me (i'll log a 'will attend' closer to the date
Hope to make this one but will confirm closer to the date.
You know how random we are! LOL ...
