Over in Tauranga today for some walking and geocaching. Just about to drive past here and I looked up and saw the little hill. I simultaneously thought Id like to climb it and checked on the app and there was a cache here - a no brained really! Thanks for setting this one up

Spent a couple of hours ripping out some cutty grass from our garden (seriously - who would intentionally plant that stuff?!), so rewarded myself with some geocaching. Rest of the team stayed home to chill out.It never ceases to amaze me the wonderful places that Geocaching takes us. What a fantastic spot and I would never have known it existed if it wasn't for geocaching!Took the obligatory panoramic photo to share with the rest of the team, then scouted around for this one. Took me a wee bit to locate the hint object, but once I did, I located the cache pretty quickly. When I was retrieving it, I noticed a couple of skinks (geckos?) in the nearby foliage. Didn't disturb them and left them to it. SL. Returned cache as found. Fave point for the view alone. TFTC!
As i was approaching the stairs a very fit man came running down the steps carrying his girlfriend draped upside down over his shoulder. I had a bit of trouble figuring out the location of this one but got there in the end. I went off for a soak in the hot pools at Fernlands after this, followed by tea at a buffet resturant before heading back over the hill to home. Thanks for bringing me to this location.
We could not find this one even though we looked for about 20 minutes and worked really hard to find it but overall it was so much fun!
Called by today and checked.....found the cache as it should be all nicely tucked away
Took a while to struggle to the top, used most of the seats to recover. Accurate co-ordinates for a nice quick find. Great views. Thanks for bringing us up here.
We were visiting family nearby so braved the walk up! Was a bit of a puzzle to use the hint but found it. We forgot our pen sadly but took a photo of it. Thank you!
Didn’t find! But it’s my first go at trying to find a cache, I’ll try again another day!
We searched for 10mins, around the hint and even seeing the photos of what it looks like. Last couple of tracks were DNF?
Found the hint but no cache, new to geocaching so my skills aren’t too good yet, will be back !
Took a while to find the hint but got there eventually. Quick find after that. I am not sure how I feel about these modern subdivisions. All the houses look the same from above, there does not seem to be any character to them. TFTC
As we climbed up the steps to GZ a mother was running down the steps being cheered on by her partner and children at the top. She reached the bottom and ran straight back up to join them.
Not sure what it was all about but she showed great athletic prowess, as did the family dog who joined her. The rest of her family were far from as energetic as her, one was even sitting down, but they made up for it in enthusiastic support.
Fortunately they left the area immediately following the event and we had the whole area to ourselves.
We located the hint item but initially not the cache although it was a quick find once we widened our search slightly. We wonder if it has been moved a bit from its intended hiding spot although we left it where we found it as it is still close enough to make the hint valid and it seems more secure where it is.

Your caches never disappoint. Thank you for the somewhat tricky find. Fortunately I had a more able bodied person with me able to get lower than I was able to, ensuring nothing was left to chance.
