As per the title, it's another walk in the park! Followed the instructions and boom! Nicely tucked away.A very relaxing park to spend time in for mental health (and cardio!).FTFT 2hoff ,';*={thanks}-*;', ,;:*(thanks}:*;*:{thanks}*:;, ,;{thanks}:;:*{thanks}:;:{thanks);, `;:{thanks};:{thanks}:;{thanks}:;' `*&;:{thanks}:;:{thanks},:;&*' `-+;:*{thanks}*:;+-` `-\\\||///-' __ \\||// __ / `------' \ | }-(______)-{ | \___/ |||| \___/ /_, |||| ,_\ \| |/
Scrambled to find the right horizontal one but got there in the end! Added a couple extra swaps to the cache too TFTC!
I needed an excuse to walk up a hill so this cache was perfect. A chilly cloudy day but lots of others on the track. Quick find a few metres south of the coords. TFTC
Parked and approached from Sirsi Tce.This was particularly hard for me to find but found it nonetheless. I wasn't sure what the hint meant, so I ended up looking at all the horizontal until I got the right one.In the end, I measured the cache 5 meters south, from the dot on my map. This may help but may only be subjective to my phone/network. There's one swag inside, and both the cache and log are in good condition Cheers.Sleepy was here!
After much scrambling about we found this one. Emptied all water , absolutely loving our walk up here . TftcApologies for the late log. It appears that we are nearly as bad as armchair loggers. We actually DO go out and find the caches but because we plan to write up longer and nicer logs at home we also can (read: often do) forget to do so. We could blame the teen and toddler, but travelling the world then moving into a new country unexpectedly (NZ) means we were always busy and now have 500logs to catch up on they are all from drafts so the date of the log will be when we actually visited (not today) which will align with the physical paper log but not CO receiving this email.
2nd time looking for this, may need to bring the caching crew to help me next time.
Took a little bit of finding due to multiple horizontal candidates but got there somewhat easily. And a great misty rainy view to greet me once I popped out again. Tftc!
First time up this track. Went up on a misty late arvo and there were no muggles about. A fun little find!!
Unfortunately made the mistake if attempting from the north with made life harder but none the less tftc
Nice to get out and explore this area this afternoon. Was thinking about hint when I spotted a large horizontal and checked my coordinates. Reread the hint and shortly after had what I’d come out for. Nice and dry inside. Rain imminent so heading down. Many thanks
Thankfully no muggles along the path today. No, all of the issues I faced finding this were my own doing...
I entered in the wrong place, since my approach from the north meant the hint was useless. I then scrambled and slipped around the slope for a while looking at various likely locations with no success. Eventually decided to head further south... well, whaddya know, there it was! Nice container. Signed, logged, returned. Tftc!

A nice quick find here thanks to the precise hint! Rather a hot Wellington day, complete with melting tarmac on the road up to the Sirsi Tce entrance. Fantastic views of the harbour today.

In Ngaio for an event "It's all about the numbers?". Had time for a walk in Khandallah Park to find two caches. Thanks 2hoff for the cache.
On my way to Mt Kaukau from Broadmeadows, so did a quick wander to grab this one. Great hint especially if walking down the track. Log slightly damp so added an extra bag as main bag had a hole. TFTC.
Having done a fair amount of 'out of town' caching lately, it was time to show Welly some love today. The plan was a bunch of caches that had been on my radar for a while. This was one of them. Not quite sure what the hint meant, but coordinates were good so had no trouble finding this one. All safe and dry here, TFTC.
Ha! Looking for different hint item, but soon cottoned on. Quick find after that. Tftc!
Found on an early morning jaunt up the hill. Was hoping to catch the sunrise but didn’t quite make it in time. Bagged this on the way up. Logbook damp but otherwise in great condition. TFTC.
I enjoyed my walk on this track that I'd not walked up before. Quick easy find using the helpful hint. Cache is in good condition. TFTC
Quick find thanks to the hint and a bit of a geo-trail. Found at first hint object checked.
As today is leap day and won't be back for four years, I decided to get out and grab a few caches in order to finally plug that 366th day on my daily cache find calendar. So having found a couple of other ones close by, I then arrived at GZ. After initially being confused by the hint... upon a closer look it made sense and I soon had the cache in hand. It is holding up well. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in it's spot all ready for the next hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. Happy Leap Day! TFTC!
A little bit of explaing the cyptric instructions to my muggle friend and then a easy find. T4tc
I almost made a mockery of this cache and had to stop to determine the hint item correct ly and saw the cache from 5 meters away. Had to pause while two muggles were talking about something intimate. As I was comings out from the cache I caught and cut myself on a tree. Geocaching is a contact sport!
I hadn't noticed this cache when planning today's caching activities but, while I was out and about, I noticed I could get to it without taking too much of a detour from my intended route. I found the hint to be the right amount of helpfulness for a location such as this. While I believe the container to be too small to be a regular size, it was large enough for me to leave the Polly the Parrot TB that began its journey in Czechia and which I found in Raumati.
A favourite point? Why not?

A pleasant little walk to this one approaching from the Sirsi Tce. end. A quick find, with the cache being all nice and dry inside and in good condition.

Just used the co-ords to reach GZ and only realized what the hint meant on regaining the track. Tftc
On a windy day with the helpful hint. Nice to pick up a cache I have been walking past on an almost daily basis with a non- caching group. Tftc
Nice walk in from Siri road end. Found with hint obvious once at GZ. All good here. Took TB and dropped off 2 more
Hint made a lot more sense near GZ Unsure what preceding M (NM?) entry is about: no probs with cache and gardeners unlikely down bank. TFTC 2hoff.
Was wrongfully to read the coordinate because on my phone it show that the cache located in right side from the top, which it should be on the left side. After read the hints finally it easy to solve the location. TFTC
I was planning on getting to this from Sirsi Crescent one day but as I was only a few hundred metres away a the letterbox cache just down the hill I figured I might as well keep climbing up to this. I wasn't quite sure where to start on arrival so I checked the hint. That turned out to be super helpful and I can't imagine how long it would have taken to find without it. TFTC.
After a disappointing DNA (attempt) further up the trail, I came by here for a consolation cache. A quick find with the useful hints. Cache all nice and dry and I took the trackable with me. TFTC
Taking advantage of a rare fine day today. Decided to get a few outstanding caches on Mt Kaukau. A quick find thanks to the helpful hints. All in order. Took tb. TFTC
Good cache find on drive and walk around today.
Bit of rain on the walk to the cache but not too bad, easy find with good hints.

Back again to drop off Uncle Sam duck. Room with a view, ready and waiting for another adventure. TFTC. Worth a fav point!
Back to drop off Sisqo the sheep, keeping Uncle Sam the duck company. A room with a view. Caching today with lance_bu. TFTC.
Watch out for twigs in the bush. Went the hard route and got a huge scar on my leg.
Fun cache though and a nice walk.

Not sure cache at point for instuctions, found on way back.
Nice walk up to find.

Nice walk up to find.
Only went for a short walk on the way home today. I've walked this track many times over the last 30 odd years. The cache was a straight forward find. TFTC
We should have read the logs more thoroughly as we chose the wrong alternative path and therefore had to travel quite a bit of ground before finally getting to GZ. Once there the clever hint led us straight to the cache. Dropped off a TB. Got well and truly muggled as we emerged back onto the track! TFTC
#2998. I needed just one cache today. After a big weekend in Turangi at the Mega event it was nice to be able to do one close to home. Miss E decided she would join me on the caching trip this evening. So we parked up at Sirsi Terrace and headed up the steep climb past the water tanks and up to the track. From there it was a short descent along the ridge path until we found objects that matched the hint and the cache was found a minute later by Miss E. Signed the log and returned up the path. We saw 2 pairs of rabbits out on the grass area which my daughter very much enjoyed seeing. Then back home again. Thanks for the cache.
Nice evening leg stretch. Puffing a bit by the time I got to game zone. Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache, I haven't been up this way for long time and forgot how much of a grunt it is to get up here. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk though while waiting for one of the wee-wiggles to finish ballet nearby. Cheers!
I decided that, as I know this area well, I would take the shortest route to the cache which is from Sirsi Tce. Less climbing this way too. No problems finding it, I spotted a faint geotrail leaving the main track and walked straight to it. Signed log, TFTC.
Also a nice easy find - could see the cache in its hiding spot as I approached! Took the TB - looks like it's been in NZ for just about all of its entire existence, so will have to see if I can do something to remedy that.
Took the shortest way to this cache - up Sirsi and across. Nice easy find at GZ - TFTC !
Cache # 3,224 - A quick wander in the drizzle and the cloud - weather not nearly as nice here as it was in Wellington when I left work! Took Huhugrub's coordinates, which were spot on, and the find at GZ was very quick. Dropped in a TB, TNSL. TFTC!

Ah.... a nice flat (yeah right) gentle stroll (for Wellington) this afternoon. On the way up, I spotted a 'track maintenance in progress' sign, but thought nothing of it. Approaching GZ, my hopes dropped as I spotted 3 people in Hi Viz vests with weedeaters, but they were on the way back down so I could search uninterrupted. A really easy find and the hint makes perfect sense when you're there. Took a ball and the TB,, left a Pink pen. 587m towards the DGSc challenge from the carpark. TFTC
#8168. Another walk in the park in Khandallah. The tracks were all quiet when we visited. We initially overshot a little when approaching GZ, and went off the track at a different entry point. Searched for a while, and widening the area. Eventually found the well placed cache some 6 metres away. It was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside.
Dropped off CTR's Superchips TrailDash
Took nothing, signed log.

A good walk up the hill after foul day yesterday Harbour looking great in the sun Thanks for the reason to be here
Joint FTF with SJT_NZ @ 9.10am, notification came through while we were waiting for our fresh sour dough bread delivery. Knew the area pretty well so thought we'd be able to get to GZ quickly before bread arrived. Pretty excited by the empty logbook and happily tooted our way down the hill on the FTF prize. TFTC and prize, that makes 2 FTFs now soooo exciting!
A joint FTF with TregearP at 9:10 this morning.
A nice morning for another walk in the park - we've been up this track many times, and its also on one of my run routes but generally when drier. Quite slippery this morning after last night's heavy dew.
Cache was as an easy find, and as expected in perfect condition. TregearP had much to whistle about with the FTF prize .
Thanks for the motivation to get out and enjoy the morning. TFTC.

11:15am, approximately. I'm not sure if this is 2TF or 3TF because the previous visitors came as a team. Nevertheless, found it in good order on a beautiful morning. TFTC
