Logs
Lots of debris, we did find something but it didnt have any notes in it.
Might be thrown in the trash from its condition, flipped every rock still couldn't find it.
Log book is gone, cache looks pretty weathered and filled with spiderwebs. Nice easy find, good hint
We found a likely looking container but there's nothing in it so we can't confirm
I did not find it because I think someone through over a fence into Simone backyard
Only a cursory look tonight, so take this DNF with a grain of salt - it's Halloween and finding more than five minutes without mini Freddies and ghosts walking through might just be impossible.... I'll be back!
No luck today. A lot of leaf litter and chopped branches, so maybe they were obscuring the right place.
First visit a family of muggles, so as was my intention to find a few others set off and tried them, they were not as easy! So was glad to get this one, sort of had to be there, but log book wet so looks like i managed to upload proof. Hope this acceptable
As well as the cache placed at GZ there was a kids toy on top, so removed that to the bench (where all manner of lost? clothing was displayed) after signing the log here.
Following a shockingly poor weekend for weather I never got any caching done, nor any opportunities to get out, aside for some grocery replenishment. mrs c was due to work on Labour Day Monday so I vowed to head out whatever the weather had to throw at me, and I managed to stay completely dry and the rain only arrived as I was driving back home again, which was nice. I managed a nice round figure of 20 finds, more than half by tuolei, thanks Grant, and explored yet more previously unseen Auckland sites and sights. Many thanks to all COs (Not lettuces)
In line with the NZ Geocache Reviewers guidance on what Covid Level 3, Part 1 looks like, geocaching IS permitted, but there are not to be any events or any new listings. It seems the NZ Covid website has failed to maintain pace with Lockdown level amendments and changes and is still lumping Geocaching in with Orienteering and other gathering type activities. Pretty straightforward here, a really nice place to come to and only one muggle here asleep on a park bench. Retrieved the TB that was in there, will try to drop it somewhere else soon, tftc!
a quick and easy grab for us while on a cache run in the area.

My partners first geocache! Ive introduced him to the hidden world of geocaching. This is my first since high school. Thank you for this. We probably turned over every stone until we found it.
Visited Mount Roskill area today. The plan was to do some shopping in oriental store and to do some caching before the rain. Managed to find a few nice placements. This one was one of them.
Quiet spot and cache located after checking several items mentioned by the hint. All good here T4TC

Quick and easy find here!
I would have never noticed this nice park if it weren’t for the cache!
Thanks!

Due to the government ordered Covid-19 lockdown, I will be doing my bit to #slowthespread. From 11.59pm on Wednesday 25 March 2020, I will not be accepting any Found logs on any of my geocaches, until the Level 4 Alert is lifted.
Please do not embarrass yourself, your hobby and your country by thinking that geocaching is essential - it is not.
If you would like a geocaching related activity to do while you are observing the lockdown, I welcome messages about how to solve my puzzle caches - I am happy to give hints and tutorials so you have lots of new caches to find when this is over.

Nice cache visited with woolwood9 today.
Stamped logs as tm/ww NZ which may just look like a black smudge on plastic logs!
*Another good pretty quick find on a busy day hunting caches in the area, we really enjoyed the drive / walk around.
TFTC - good reserve and play equipment for young children.

Picking up a couple of puzzle caches in the area and grabbed this one on my way home. Lots of rocks to turn over had me worried for a minute or two.
Yes, this is a delightful double pack, love the story behind it and the actual finding of it. All good here. Thanks!
On a road trip north, enjoying the day and pic up some caches. TFTC

Having seen on Google-Map how close this cache is to the neighbouring house I made an early evening visit to Harwood Reserve in order to look for it without having to use a torch. Wandered to GZ and soon spotted something that I could not leave unturned. Thanks for showing me this pleasant Secret Garden.
In the area today with some time between appointments. ....time is precious, and needs to be used wisely, so time for a cache find.
Was intrigued by this little gem of a park hidden away, much like the cache placement.
TFTC.

What a special little garden, we would never have known it was here had it not been for the cache.
There were a couple of teenage muggles on one of the benches but they didn't seem too interested in us as one was trying to impress his girlfriend with his heroic tales.
So we coddiwompled into the bushes and soon had the cache in hand.
When we returned to the footpath they had disappeared so we took some time to enjoy the solitude.
Great hiding place, thanks tuolei for bringng us here.

It was New Year's Day and the weather wasn't looking too shabby. After having a lot of trouble getting to sleep the night before after small celebrations the night before, we decided that we needed to get out in order to feel somewhat energetic. LordCacher08 suggested that we go and have a walk around Western Springs so that he could indulge in some Pokemon GO. Mr. Kiwi was up for this as he too plays and Mrs. Liver Bird thought that would be good idea. After the walk and a tram ride, the day still felt young, so it was decided to to a bit of caching before heading home.
We tried to approach this cache from one of the entrances but decided that with all the yellow dotted lines and other cars parked around that we would try and tackle this from another entrance a little closer to GZ. So, we pull up to the entrance to this quaint little reserve and Mr. Kiwi went off in search for the cache while Mrs. Liver Bird supervised LordCacher08 on the playground, as this was closer to the kind of playground that LiverKiwi used to play on in their younger days compared to today's modern playgrounds.
The search for the cache was not a long one as something looked slightly out of place and a classic hiding trick for geocachers. Upon closer inspection, the cache was revealed, retrieved, the log signed and the cache replaced where and how it was found.

Auckland Day 7: Mount Eden - Mount Albert
This morning’s weather was horrid, so had to sit at home until the weather cleared up by lunchtime. Headed out after lunch to pick up a few caches, with a particular focus on Multis and Mysteries, and any other Traditionals that I happen to come across along the way. Took a combination of trains and buses to expedite the trip around Auckland’s inner suburbs and collected a decent number of smilies around the city.
The following is the specific log for each cache:
Nice little secret place here, and thankfully there were no muggles about today. Snuck into the corner, and grabbed the cache in the likely spot. TFTC and for showing me this secret little spot of yours!

After an afternoon of caching and dinner, we discovered there were a couple of caches between where we were eating and home, so we went to get this one. There were a couple of people in the park, but we were able to be discreet behind the bushes and get the cache. Though maybe we did look a bit dodgy.
Probably looked pretty dodgy to the people of the path that may have noticed us heading into the bush and then coming back out not long after. They weren't too interested in what we were up to thankfully. Cache is in good condition. Tftc
A neat little park, nice and quiet today with the intermittent rain. First cache for the day, dropped off TB, cheers
#6274. I have flown up to Auckland to attend a seminar this weekend. Staying with my sister in Mt Eden/Balmoral. I was at a seminar in the city all day and had dinner in the downtown area with friends. Was dark by the time I was back in the Dominion Rd area. Looked on the GPS and spotted this nearby cache and thought I would have time to grab one tonight before heading to my sisters place to work on my next presentation for Day 2 of the seminar. Headed down the footpath. Looked around for nocturnal visitors. The park was deserted at night so had chance to look around with my torch for the cache. Didn't take too long to find. I noticed it had a trackable present and the log had been signed today. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Picked up the TB. Thanks tuolei for hiding it here.
I played on the playground while the adults looked for this one. It's been a hard day travelling from cache to cache I deserved it.....TFTC
Up in Auckland for the Katy Perry concert and had a list of geocaches i needed to do to complete a challenge in Whanganui. And this was one of them! Was a fun find, thanks.
