I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi BrophyzioThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
I've been staying in Tokoroa for a few days with caching friends. This evening some of us walked around this lake, and completely failed to find any of the caches!Lots of potential hide locations, especially given that previous finders have mentioned that the co-ords are a bit out.
Wasn't thinking we were going to find this one but looked harder found loose buried in the ground a cracked container with no lid but still had the log book. Placed it back where I thought it had been placed maintenance needed sorry had no containers on me. Out caching with xsaveya. Lovely walk many exercising here today

Haha, never knew there was a dam here. Would have been a lovely spot to have lunch too!
Over complicated our hunt (soggy feet ) but found quick enough. Nice and dry. Tftc

This would be a very hard one to search for during the day, with so many muggles coming and going.
Fortunately, I was parked up only 40mts from gz so was able to have a look for it later in the evening when things were quieter. It took a little while to spot the nicely hidden cache.
Then it was off this morning for a quick grab and sign the log.
Thanks for setting this up

Thanks for the cache. Good wee hide, on of the kids found it, right there when you see it. Lovely park.
This was not what I was expecting and Kauriforest and I were scratching our heads a little. Suddenly, there it was staring, us in the face. Now to walk the perimeter, there are more GCs to find here. TFTC
I was troubled by it until I actually looked down and then I saw it I was looking around for around 10 minutes and luck me it didn't rain is really good you inspired me to make one like that
# Found with mobi12 24 november 2022. Greetings from Västmanland Sweden. Overthought the hide at firdt. Very wet ground today after all the rain
Did take a bit of searching and consultation, then found. Lovely park. Thanks for placing cause I would not have come here.
Thank you for placing the cache here. So often I pass through towns and miss beautiful spots like this. Love the sound of babbling water
We are on our way to Taupo for the night and stopping for a few caches along the way. This looks like a lovely park to explore. There were a few muggles around crossing the bridge so we had to stand back for a bit - but once in location we made short work of this one. We were surprised how fast the water was running. TFTC.
DNF, tried for a while, Stuck my hand in the stones thinking it might be in there but nope, better luck next time
Found it while heading back to our accommodation in Tokoroa. Nice quick stroll through the park to locate. TFTC
I left timaru 24 hours ago and collected a few smiles along the way but now it was time to get off the beaten track a bit. Found cach in perfect condition ready for the next finder tftc
Nice little hide. I found first, followed by Wenjeng before we extracted to sign the log. TFTC. Beautiful spot.
Whilst out on a mission with EyeSpyBen , soon had this one in hand, signed and returned,TFTC

#12,430. A short walk in Tokoroa, South Waikato District. Fortunately, GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Took a bit of searching and widening the area. Eventually found it well hidden about 6 metres away. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.
Thanks for the placement, and for bringing us to this site, and …

On the last day of a tiki tour of the North Island we stopped at this lovely park. Cache had some spider webs over it and I was delegated to make the grab being not so worried about that sort of thing. TFTC!
We traveled down to National Park today and picked up 22 caches - what fun! Some easy ones, some harder and 2 DNF's . This was our first cache on the way, and not quite where we expected it to be, but didn't take too long. A great spot, TFTC
(# 6482). Grabbing a few caches on the way to a funeral in Matamata. One has to break the trip up a little bit. A quick find. Everything in order. Just as I was walking away I noticed other cachers approaching. From on top of the hill I had a little giggle as I watched the family search for this one. Thanks for bringing me here.
No luck for us today. I have a major fear of spiders so wasnt sticking my hands anywhere near it
#8804. I have been up in Auckland for the past week and now its time to drive back home to Wellington. The trip home is never a quick or straight one when you have geocaches to locate and bird watching places to explore. I diverted to look at the shorebirds at Miranda and picking up some caches on the way. After the bird watching it was time to head south. The day has rapidly past me by so decided to stay the night in Tokoroa and continue south to Wellington tomorrow. I headed out to the lake to find this cache after dinner. I think last time I stopped here there were people having a picnic by the bridge. Today the place was deserted. Still took me a while to spot the cache as it was not hidden how I expected. Signed the log and replaced everything as found. Thanks Brophyzio for hiding it here.
This didn't take long at all to find. Had to wait for muggles to pass by before I could place cache back. This park is a hidden treasure. Cheers
Merlot58 came along with Mr Pazza and I for a bit of a road trip on our first decent drive and getaway since lock down. Mr Pazza was on form to start the day and found this without too much issue. We had the best views ever some would say, and that was of Auckland in our rear vision mirror. Tftc
Heading to Taupo with Pazza2 and stopped to stretch the legs and give the hounds a run around. Me Pazza found this while we looked elsewhere as it wasn’t where we expected
Chance to grab another couple in the town, only another 3 to go! Thanks CO for the cache.
Find with Celyn18 on 04.07.2018 during our travel in New Zealand, a beautiful country. Tftc
Met a local here who knew about the geocache but she reckons it had gone and looked in both the places that she knew it had been in the past with no sign of it.
This was our second attempt at finding this one. The first ended rather wet and cold lol. How we managed to miss it that fist time I'd beyond me. As the second time we almost gave up again but my gutts told me to look once more and WTH lol there she sat tucked neatly away and camoed just right to blend in. Ahaha good find indeed. Happy for a smiley face
Find number 3978. There was 2 caches in Tokoroa that I had not yet found so decided to come down for the event and clear them up. I had looked for this one before but continued muggle traffic meant a half hearted search. Back today and no one around. It would not have mattered as it was staring me in the face. Pleased to sign and get that smillie. Thank you for the cache.
It started raining as we left Taupo and headed north, but we still wanted / needed to find 2 more caches. By the time we reached Tokoroa and headed for Lake Moananui the rain had eased to a light drizzle, so we donned our coats and headed of for a short Lakewalk. Arrived at GZ and spent a little time searching before one of us discovered the cache in a much easier spot than we were anticipating. TFTC
This was a clever little hide... I think sometimes I make things harder for myself than I need to but before I started climbing all over and under the bridge I read a few of the logs and then voila... spotted the cache almost right in front of me!
Searched high and low under the bridge. We'd almost given up all hope of ticking this one off and hallelujah we spied it!! TFTC enjoyed visiting this lovely wee park.
I parked nearby but a family of muggles was spread out all around the GZ and playing there. Showed no sign of leaving so I gave it away without a search.
After a DNF the other day we were back in the area (well passing through) so thgought we'd have another look. Cache was spotted immediately, signed and on our way. Not sure how we missed this last time. Thanks for the cache Brophyzio.
I missed out on finding this the other day...but a big thanks to the CO who checked up and repositioned it to its correct place allow for me to put a big smilie on this one ...this is a great park and great asset to Tokoroa...thanks Brophyzio for the cool placement
Checked on this cache today. Although it had crept about 1 metre it was still there. Have returned it to its proper spot
Had a fair look at possible hides, but stopped at actually going under the bridge, far too muddy to do that and I don't think it would be there anyway.
Too slippery and muddy to have a proper search but the GPS says to stop right in the middle of the bridge.
