Found the 4 bolts no problem but no cache was to be seen, I think this one has gone.
Four of us looking and spotted the obvious place but no cache to find. Broadened search but still no luck
Summer time in full mode and long weekend is not a good time to search here.
I was even suspicious for myself.
I hope it is still here and I will be back one day!

Quick easy snag and tag at Tairua Bridge. Cheers.
Day 10 - Sunday 27 December - Tairua - up to Whenuakite and back and Pauanui power trail today. What will we find today?.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are off on another geocaching escape over Xmas, this time to the mighty Coromandel, then over to Opotiki and stop off at Rotorua to return home on 5 January. Had an fabulous time exploring many wonders of our country. Rounding up over 400 caches along the way, with a few LABS, 20 odd TMGTs, virtuals and lots of interesting earth caches to keep the mind busy. Watching the sun come up on New Years Day at Mt Maunganui was spectacular. Lots of walking and even more driving. But had an awesome time. Thanks to all COs who made this adventure so special.

There is traffic control on the bridge, guys in high vis allowing a few cars at a time each way across the one lane bridge. This must be a nearly full time job over summer. I wonder when (if) they have this bridge scheduled for upgrading?
Taybeedragon and I went on a tour of the Coromandel - one of the few places of New Zealand, especially of Te ika a Maui, that I have yet to explore throughly, and from there along the coast to Opotiki to see one of my many, many sisters. From 18 December to 5 January we found over 400 caches, including 12 adventure labs (60 caches), 20 or so TMGTs and a host of virtuals and earthcaches. And I hosted an event to see the sun come up on New Year's day - surprisingly popular given that it was at 5am. We climbed a lot of hills, saw some amazing beaches that were quite popular despite (or because of) the insane access to them, walk a lot of bush, entered and explored 8 gold mines and generally had an awesome time. However I am glad to be back, but now is the hard part, and I fear it will take just as long - logging!

North Island Campervan trip Day 5
After the fantastic holiday I had a few months ago traveling around the South Island, making the most of one of those incredibly cheap campervan deals available at the time, I figured it was worth taking a week off work before the stresses of the usual holiday period to enjoy some of the delights to be found around the top of the North Island.
This would be a great chance for me to seek out some targeted caches such as the TMGT ones as well as some that would help me with my Jasmer grid, missing minutes (for a couple of challenge caches I'm working on) and any other caches that caught my eye.
Having spent last night in Whitianga, I was intending to head back down the Coromandel and make my way over to Tauranga by this evening. I wasn't sure how much help I was going to get from the weather, so made an early start to try to get as much caching done as possible before the rain hit!
The rain was starting to become a bit of a nuisance by the time I stopped to look for this cache. I was hoping for a quick find so I could get out of it, but it did take me about 5-10 minutes to finally make the find. The Hint is good, and definitely helped. There were no issues with the cache or log, which was signed and replaced exactly as found before making my way back to the campervan to carry on my journey.
Thanks for setting this cache up.

Searched for a bit and was worried as there was a DNF prior, however a bit more digging showed results , TFTC
Found 'obvious' 4 bolts but no cache hiding behind them. Thanks for the excuse to stop at a beautiful location, though.
Out and about for a few days for a bit of a road trip around the Coromandel area. Day Four of my road trip. I started my travels in Coromandel Town and ended my day in Tairua. I focused too long on what I thought was the hint object before I spotted the right one - and the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Trouvée facilement ! Magnifique vue ! On dirait le Mont Saint Michel en France !
Fairly quick find, the spotted a friend had als signed today, managed to catch up with them on the main street about 10 minutes later.

Had a good look for this one but no cigar today and a few muggles taking a dip and jumping off the bridge. I will be back
A favorite point for this location.
The cache was soon in hand, log signed and replaced as found.
Thank you for bringing me here

Found the new waterproof log, thanks G_2 for maintaining it. Nice spot, one guy was enjoying his swim. Cheers
I remember another cache on this bridge, I looked for it after it had gone so never got my smiley here. Today my smiley was firmly earned. TFTC
Great place and great cache thanks. Took longer to find than it perhaps should have!
This one was fairly easy. The pencil is no longer in the catch, so bring your pen. Great view! Watch for Muggles lots of kids in the area.
I like jumping into the water so I had a look under the bridge. It seemed a bit shallow for me. The tide was out but it didn’t look like being in would make a huge difference. I do like to not hit the bottom when I jump in the water. Maybe it looks different to a skinny teenager?
Small delay finding the cache as I focused on the wrong hint item, but got there in the end. Greetings from Ireland!! TFTC

Found with a sister during our expedition to NZ (from CZ), where we explored part of the North Island and could visit our classmates and friends that we have not seen for several years, as it is here, in Auckland and Napier live ... Thank you for cache ...
A quick grab and sign after a pleasant cup of coffee in a cafe on the other side of the bridge.
Thanks for the cache G-2

Travelling the long way to the beach today, for a few missions on the way. Had even more time than expected today, so plenty of time to stop. We have been here before trying to find this one, but see I hadn't logged a DNF lol. Anyway today no trouble at all. Must have been having a bad day last visit. All quiet around here today. SL. TFTC.
It didn't take too long to find this one but we had to wait a bit to put it back as a young muggle appeared on the scene and sat down nearby. He seemed to be daydreaming and didn't seem to notice what we were doing but we played it safe and waited for him to move on before returning the cache.
Nice spot, thanks G-2.

Found on my trip north enjoying the caches. Better weather today so need to catch up on caches that I missed yesterday because of the rain
Another late night find "on our way back to Auckland", myself and xo^8. Nice hide here. TFTC!!!

Having a rare weekend off plus no work yesterday, KrystalKath, Tama & I have headed to the Coromandel for the duration, staying at Simpson’s Beach out of Whitianga.
Yesterday we left the caravan and drove to Fletcher Bay - a part of NZ neither of us have previously visited. The weather forecast was not particularly good but in actual fact the day was stunning, a cloudless sky and no wind.
Overnight the weather broke and this morning has dawned overcast and windy with occasional squally showers.
And so it's time to return home to Katikati.
By the time we reached Tairua the weather is really upon us and we stopped for lunch for *Mother*. Then while KK revisited the crystals shop I revisited this geocache which eluded me in March.
Today I brought my A-game and it was an easy easy find. *"How did I miss that last time?"* Perhaps it was the added incentive of lessening my time in the rain sharpening my mind. Anyway got it. TFTC

After arriving in Tairua D4nielB and me took the chance to look for some geocaches.
Without the hint it would have been very difficult to find this one but we made it.

On the way back from dinner to our B&B, Jul1ane and me took the chance to search this geocache and sign the log.
A clear hint meant a quick find and no one swimming today.

Now getting late in the day we decide to start heading back home. But I just had to grab a couple more on the way. Doing well with our finds today. Nicely hidden. Tftc
Thought I might shirt my parking spot from the nth end to the sth end of this bridge and pick up the cache here as well. Bot , you need 4 sets of eyes here! Ones going across the bridge,. ones beside you under the trees and ... and.... somewhere else. I nearly stood in a great big hole under the bridge and would have lost one of my jandals, then so many bolts... where oh where are you... then I spotted the right 4 and soon had the cache in my hot little hand! Groovy McGoovey!
On the third day on the tour through New Zealand, we stayed here in Tairura and so it went on an evening walk and even here to search for something to log.

Found this one on a stroll with the Family. Thank you for the cache, which we could find easily due to hint. Greetings from Switzerland.
After the visit to Hahei and the Cathedral Cove, we stopped here to order som take-away food. During the long time we had to wait, I got time to pick this one. The hint was clear, though not abvious when first looking at the construction. Good hide. TFTC!
On a eveningtour to find a cache, we are traveling in NZ four weeks and we take at least one cache every day. We find this even if it was dark. Tftc!
22421 Traveling through New Zealand to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
Today we were went from Pauanui to Whitianga visiting Hot Water beach with our shovel. We enjoyed laying in the warm water and watching the sea nearby in the sun. Afterwards we continued our daytour looking for caches on the way up and coming down to Pauanui
Most caches were found quite quickly. A few took more time. Several were with waterproof paper, but our stamp and pen do not work that good on such paper, where when it was wet paper it logs fantastic.
G_2 TFTC and the fun it brought us. Theo

Heading north on our first grand family road trip. The plan was to head north to Auckland and then tiki tour our way back to Christchurch. Starting our way back down the country back home. The tides were favourable for a visit with young cachelets to Hot Water Beach. We stayed at the nearby camp ground and had a lovely soak last night and decided to grab this one before going to check out some of Mrs TW and I favourite spots to show the cachelets.
Thanks for the cache G_2.

On the way back to Hamilton, after doing a job at the local Ambulance station, I thought it'd be rude not to grab a cache!
TFTC G_2, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 1 find(s) of 1 today, making this find #1820

Today's adventure would be to explore parts of Tairua on a beautiful sunny day.
No Billy or Nana Goats Gruff disturbed this Troll whilst he was doing his deed.
Cheers for the cache.

After sleeping in Whitianga for the night it was time to explore the area whilst leisurely making our way back to Auckland.
Promised the geo-kids 10mins on the playground after we went for this cache so they were very keen to find it quickly. Found the wrong 4 hint items before realising our mistake and finding the correct ones which held the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

E have had to pass this one by a few times due to the muffle meanderings, but today it Salkeld quieter and had a chance to grab it between the occasional bridge walker. Nice vista of Paku while waiting. Tftc.
In Tairua for a couple of nights stopped for this one before getting tea. Heavy showers coming through today so not many muggles around. Saw the hint object and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
