Lesson learnt to never place another Letterbox Hybrid if people care more about a cheap stamp than the actual experience.
NM is a 2 week cache death sentence - however granted it's still more notice than GC4M8AA got.

We arrived at GZ and adjusted our focus at the usual levels.
This was well beyond our original focal length.
That's the highest I've been in a while.
Thanks for the rush Jacko83.
Chiefton!!!

I'll replace the stamp when I can source another. In the meantime the cache is still fully accessible and does not require being disabled.
Not today
I made it about halfway up and then I didn't have the guts for the rest of the climb

After a DNF about an hour ago I was determined again to scale the tree and finally sign the logbook. With my Mum and little brother with me this time I went to the cache location to size up the tree. It was still looking as big as ever. I put my backpack down and then began the climb. The first half was easy, as I had done it before and built up a kind of temporary muscle memory. It was the half after that that was challenging. I had to manuver myself very high above the ground to be able to get to the top and sign the log. When I finally got to the top with encouragement from family members below I was able to reach the cache and open it. The stamp was missing, it will need a replacement but other than that all good at GZ. I had to manuver myself so that I could reach into my pocket for a pen and then I dropped in a trackable for good luck. Decent was done quickly. TFTC, TNLNSL.
I came. I saw. I made it about 2/3 of the way up. Then I bailed. 0/2 from tree climbs this week for me
Sent the two boys up armed with a pen. The younger one got to the prize first which was very impressively high up the tree, while I kept watch safely inn the ground. Thanks for a fun activity! Cheers!
After a bit of lunch nearby with kenare and kenbryl, we made our way here because this was a Letterbox cache, which we like to do. After making the the climb and finding the container, I was a bit disappointed that there wasn`t a stamp in there so I could put it in my book! Tftc
Sean.75, kenbryl and I cached our way down here for lunch. We couldn't resist the temptation of a letterbox nearby so we made our way here. We stopped the cache from below and planned our climb. A pity that there isn't a stamp in the cache. Tftc
We headed here after lunch to see if we could attempt this. We decided we could! Up we went then down we came. Poor Sean.75 carried the books up so we could stamp them only to discover no stamp in the cache. Tftc
Find No. 2075. Found at 12.30pm
Down in the Torquay area for the weekend to take our geodog Penny to the beach (and she loved it), and also to do some caching. At this time of year the weather was good to us for both activities. First up we concentrated on getting the caches in Torquay before moving onto the G2Anglesea Trail.
Sitting on a nearby seat with Penny sure was a distraction with passers by while Mr Tyred n Cranky climbed up to get our names in the log for this one. He can remember climbing this tree a few years back for another one up there only this time it was a bit higher up.

Spotted it but was a bit too high for the kids who made it about half way so we’ll claim it without the logbook signed!
Fun, thanks
Fun, thanks
I was working down this way during the week and saw that there was a tree climb nearby!
Woohoo! I love a tree climb!
If I remember correctly, i was there when Jacko83 started climbing trees!
Although I was dressed in office attire today I had no problems in getting up there and signing the log.
Thanks for a much needed lunch break tree climb

Whilst on holidays we were fortunate to have a few days spare to visit the Great Ocean Road. We arrived in Torquay and after doing the projection had a short walk along a lovely quiet path to GZ. Hmm, this looks like fun BM thought, he loves a good tree climb! He spied the container and headed off to claim the find. After 'safely' signing the log we walked across the road and enjoyed the beautiful beach and ocean views.

While the family and I were staying a few nights in Torquay in the lead up to visiting family for Christmas, how could I go past a good tree climb. We arrived at GZ and our daughter was keen to get among the action as well, and tried her best, but could only get up a few meters. The climb was simple enough, and it was a great way to start the day.

I was lucky on this weekend morning to have the place to myself and managed a quick climb. It does look as if the cache has been muggled as there is only a single bit of notepad paper in it. It always nice to start the morning with a tree climb. Thanks for placing the cache for me to enjoy! TFTC Jacko83

Took me two attempts to find this one after finding the remains of a previous cache halfway up I thought it as muggled , and then after messaging the CO, I returned for another attempt and wondered why I hadn't spotted the cache on the first attempt[xx(]. Anyway the story ended with my name on the log sheet with two or three others.
Thanks Jacko

We found it. And can see it from the ground, but the 11 yo bugged out about three quarters of the way up! So I guess we found it, but couldn't fill out the log!
Found with [@geo_wife](http://coord.info/PRPJ9T7) and some muggle friends. We spotted the cache from ground level and I made the ascent up to the container. As mentioned one clip of the lid is missing and there is a single piece of paper to act as a log. Greatly enjoyed the fun climb, thanks for the cache.
We had recollections of visiting this spot previously, perhaps Xian 06? After a fun morning at the beach it was a quick scramble up and we soon spotted the old cache location. Onwards and upwards we went until we found the sistema, but as noted by previous cachers, it was empty. We had come prepared with a temporary log, but the CO might want to check it out as one of the clips on the container is also broken. TFTC and views.
Made the ascent...1st tree climb in Oz since arriving from Canada. I managed to find 'something' on the way to near top. Will email CO with further details.
An awesome cache and challenging hide, thanlfully geohusband was up for the task! Our 2nd cache for the day as we start ohr journey along the great ocean road. Tftc #800
Found at 4:09 pm with TheReshimehs on our return journey from the Alice Springs event. TFTC Jacko83!

After a nice weekend in Lorne we stopped by in Torquay for lunch and a cache. The highest cache I have found. TFTC
Omg!! The 8 yo geokid scaled that tree and actually had the cache in her hand.... but didn't feel confident to actually unclip the container to put our mark in itBUT for her mammoth efforts we are logging this one as a FIND! She really didn't think she could do it and is feeling so proud of her efforts! TFTC
Low-rated considering the height! Fortunately DE of SODE didn't mind the height and quickly made his way to the container with ease.
TFTC! Andreas and Nicole

Quick easy find... for me... because I stood at the bottom of the tree. The 10 year started but didn't even get half way so it was up to Dad to show him the way.
I'd like to say it was a great day for it but it's kinda gloomy with a few drops of rain.
So now we've sorted another higher terrain cache and got a smiley for our 365 day challenge
TFTC. Another find by the McPhail family.

Next time I'll remember to bring a pen...

Picked up this one after scouting for Postman's Revenge - sure the rest of the family waiting below were mauled by mosquitoes, but it was peaceful up high. Loved it - thanks Jacko
Down this way for the summer holidays and a day trip to take the kids to the Torquay back beach forca calmer swim. On the way back I detoured to this close by hide to make the most of the trip. Upon arriving I glanced up and up and up before finally spotting the cache. Wow, that really is up high. I circled the tree for a few minutes trying to summon the nerve to start the climb before just going for it. As it turns out there are plenty of sturdy branches to hang on to as I circled my way up. It was only while perched at the top signing the log that it got a bit nervy when a big gust of wind started shaking the tree top. I took your advice to the extreme though and looped everything I could around a branch while I rode it out. With the cache back in place I quickly made my way back down to firm ground. Thanks for the hide, a challenging yet achievable test.
I had the dirt of sitting in the car with the sleeping children so my husband and eldest son went for this. They came back from the car park with sad looks on their faces. They had a picture of the container in clear sight. But my husband is afraid of heights and wasn't going to climb
Another day, another cache, now 109 consecutive days with a find. This one was in desperation after thinking it would be easier getting another cache in Torquay but with a DNF and a couple of beers rendering driving out of the question, it was tree time. At the tree we could see the cache and started the climb slowly. Finally at the container, we opened it, singed and then "dolt"...dropped the stamp.
Then it was a slow climb back down where another team member found the stamp and started attempts to throw it to us. Finally, stamp in hand, back up and put the stamp in the container and closed it. We should get two finds for this one... .
Cache in good order. Thanks Jacko for the cache. Fav for us given it saved our streak.

Man, is that tree high! Twice during the climb I thought about giving up, but then I made it to the top. Thanks for this adventure!
It's been a while since I planned a mission caching day, and this was no exception. I had no intention to head out today but a last minute change of plans and before long I had the car packed and we hit the road, heading to Geelong and Queenscliff to fulfill a few milestones that I had been setting aside for a day like today. The weather was perfect, I had my two boys with me and we were going out caching - what more could I ask for.
We parked the Prado and made our way to GZ. This tree looked familiar to me. I'm pretty sure another cache used to be here a few years back. Making my way up I passed the spot where another cache used to be, but this one was up a bit higher. With in a few minutes I was up and back down, logged singied and we were offf to an event where we could have a good ol pub meal.
Thanks Jacko83 for the hide.

SO SORRY. I didn't realise that I hadn't logged this until we looked at doing it this coming weekend.(may 2018). Got an invite from a couple of other teams that were heading home after the Surf Coast Event via this cache and dinner in Torquay. Love a non TTC. Thanks so much and again, apologies for the extremely late log.
Apologies for generic log. Now 8 months behind on logging and really need to catch up. Fantastic time caching in Melbourne again. Many thanks for the effort.

We were on our way back to drop GeoP off at Point Cook, and this was our last cache of the day.
As we rocked up to GZ, it all became very familiar as we had climbed the same tree for an old archived cache......so up dad went, passing the old spot and on to the new spot.
Thankfully the rain had stopped and dad was able to sign the log without any of the moistness that was about earlier, and then I let gravity do the work and came back down to wander off and fight another day.
Thanks Greg for the nice free climb.
Cheers

The whole reason for our road trip from Queensland to Anglesea was to attend the Surf Coast Event and with that done, we made the best of the weekend to catch up with some interstate teams we have known now for many years, and making new friends as well We also managed to find a few caches while we were there We met up with Bella at Waggy for this particular cache and after reaching ground zero, Mr Just a Trifle scrambled up tree, making short work of it with all the practice he has had during the past week
With our name added to the log book, we chatted with Bella at Waggy for a little while before heading off to our next adventure.
Thank you Jacko83 for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

I have said it before and I will say it again, I hate tree climbing. If people want to go and climb trees, good for them but my 2 feet like to stay on the ground. If they even get more than head height off the ground it is just downright uncomfortable for me. I have even called in muggle friends to climb small heights and sign logs in our name, not right but hey our name is in the log book
So this MEGA weekend I decided to put myself out of my comfort zone and do a tree climb. I had looked at the D/T and thought to myself "only a 4 terrain, how hard could it be?". So after lunch at the nearby pub to give myself some dutch courage, we set off for this cache.
Upon arriving at GZ my first thought was "Jack83, I hate you". A terrain 4 all the way up there, you have to be kidding me. I circled the tree for a bit and with the kids and the missus not so sure I started my assent. Now I have to say that I am sure that others have done this climb with no problems, but me being on the other side of 100 kegs and having a fear of heights this was not going to be easy.
Slowly I started and quickly I realized that I was in trouble. Legs and arms shaking and freckle clenching I made it to about a third of the way up thinking that this could not get any worse. That's when it started to rain.
So now feeling like I was really in trouble I thought I would hang on and wait it out. "Who thinks that" I thought to myself as I hung on for dear life for the next 10 minutes until the rain did slow down. I had to keep going and, again, slowly continued upwards.
Up and up I went and all the time I had the family cheering me on. I kept on getting closer and closer but was to scared to reach out. I really didn't want to be that guy on the news that had killed himself in front of his family doing something stupid. I then pulled myself up a final time and...... YES, I got it. But now to sign the log. I pull the log out just hoping that I didn't drop it, but no I got our name in the log and was able to replace. I gave myself a little cheer as it seemed my support crew on the ground had lost interest, it had been 25 minutes after all, and thought about the trip down. I do remember thinking now that if I did fall would the missus still log my find.
The trip down was still scary but took no where near as long and when I hit the ground I was ecstatic. I had done it. I had pushed myself out of my comfort zone and done some well and truly above what I thought I was able to do. So now with adrenaline pumping and my body aching the kids gave me a big hug and it was time to go.
Jacko83, thanks for the opportunity to conquer (well for a short time) my fears. I can honestly say that I will never forget this cache. And I do not think I will be climbing that high ever again. Favorite for sure.

Found It!
This brought back memories from the Cleve June LWE a few years ago. And they weren't necessarily good ones! Slowly I climbed up, all while thinking "F*@# this tree is high!". Eventually I made it to the cache and was then very careful not to drop anything! Just don't look down!

Out and about on this Um.......... Fine day getting as many caches as I can before I head off. What a weekend it's been some multis mysterys night caches, heaps of trads, mega, cito, and a few events. Thanks surf coast for a great weekend out.
Have to love a non technical tree climb. Thanks so much for bringing me here and this cache.
We meet up with Just a Triffle after hearing some recent storys about this one. In short time our names were in the log. TFTC.
Apologies for the late logging of the cache.
Found on Day 3 of Surf Coast Event four day adventure.
Always enjoy a letterbox cache.
Today we made our way to Anglesea for the Mega Event, including the official opening, and of course those elusive lab caches, before heading back to Geelong to the tackle the Its Puzzle Time series, and a pleasant drive through the You Yangs. And to make it a long and productive day, some night caching along Portarlington Road to finish things off!
Thanks Jacko83 for putting out the cache and the hunt!

An interesting cache hide, was with keen and experienced cachers so a projection is easy for all of us. Caching with mogni and Bushfire, hubby Mark and brisal5. TFTC Jacko83.
I LOVE Sir Spectre - OMG, what a HUGE tree for him to climb!!! AND when he got up to the top he realised he didn't have a pen with him so climbed back down part way and AnyMules climbed up part way to give him the pen....aarrrggghh!
Found on game day of the Mega.....my team consisted of AnyMules, Phoenix Flare, Sir Spectre, Wise Old Wizard and myself...our team name was "SA Complex Sized Punk Goat Winery Door Hole" (anagram of all of our names) LOL - thanks to the creative AnyMules hahaha
Actually we did well today and even came away with a winners ribbon re: our creative photography - Ummmmm I may have been the photographer, and yep, my pics certainly got 'people' talking and laughing....it is AMAZING what you can do with 3 men, 1 woman and a VERY large upstanding lighthouse in the background from the right angle [:o)]
WOO HOO!! During this 'extra long weekend', I attended my very first Australian Mega - held in a beautiful part of the world - Anglesea, Victoria.
I also:
- shared some awesome moments with friends [^]
- laughed lots and maybe even cried a lil
- got some lovely hugs and a few playful slaps
- became the resident paramedic on the trip (as I believe my favourite MICA paramedic recently retired ) - maybe it was because I seemed to be the one with the best stocked medication bag LOL
- completed a new power trail and found plenty of caches, including challenge caches I have either already qualified for, or very soon will [^]
I even achieved my 4000th cache find (in 10.5 months) and found 10 different cache types in one day with the help of my beautiful buddies (including my tree climbing 'ex' LMAO) [^] Six events in total this weekend WOO HOO!!!
Thanks to everyone who assisted me whilst caching this weekend - particularly Ms Locus Cache who joined me on yet another girls road trip, and the lovely Clare007 who stayed with us, cached and then accompanied us home.
Thanks for the cache Jacko83

Thanks for the cache Jacko83
the mega team needed a mailbox for a challenge cache and this was chosen. I couldn't see the cache from the ground but others could. by the time the ladder as extended I was already 1/3 the way to the unseen cache. climbing higher and you mean that cache up there. I got my stamp but that doesn't help the peps below. down tree and then back up again to put logbook back in. that tree sways a lot in the wind.
The day of the Surf Coast Mega had finally arrived. We (Gunnie69, The Green Geckos, Ghost Gums and myself) had teamed up for an assault on some carefully chosen puzzles caches (read that as the ones we were actually able to solve), earth caches, challenges, letterboxes and a smattering of other caches thrown into the mix to make it more interesting. Quality, not quantity was our mantra on this quest. But it still hurt to have to leave so many left unfound...
Having started today a little later than we had intended, we were trying to make up for lost time this morning and still make it to the mega in a timely manner. But somehow we kept getting sidetracked by unusual DT combos and such, but we still got there for the formalities, just.
This cache was one we stopped for on the way to the mega, despite the risk of it delaying us even further. Just as well we did too as one of our team was itching to release her inner monkey and made the ascent in record time. She kind of reminded me of being at Perth Zoo as a kid and chasing the squirrels, who always headed for the closest tree, scampering up into the highest branches in the blink of an eye. Way to go Jan!!
If I ever get back over that way, I will definitely be returning to this cache and making the climb for myself, though I will probably do it barefoot - some habits die hard. Looked like a lot of fun. Thanks for the cache and the smiley Jacko83, and for putting one more thing on my bucket list too.

This was a South Australian Team Assault.... with one Victorian to keep us on our toes.
A fantastic cache that was well worth our time and brain power.
Thanks

Day 5 of my week long visit to Victoria.
Having settled into the digs at Anglesea for three nights it was time for some serious mega caching and the Q2A and a heap of puzzles, multi's and great caches were already found. But today was Mega day and the competition was going to be the focus. Our team was to be GOTHS plus 1. GOTHS being the Geocachers Of The HillS - a group of SA cachers. Myself, mogni and Aussie M&M were the GOTHS members and local cacher Bushfire was the plus ![:o)]
After the competition it was time to head over to Geelong for some night caching with some South Aussies who had made the trip over. Not this tree again. A distinct feeling of deja vu here. I have climbed this tree before. No paperclip chain now! One of you others can do it this time [^]
Thanks Jacko83

My first ever letterbox cache, and I had to come all the way from SA to get it! Over here for the Surf Coast Mega, and caching afterwards with our SA team of GoodLook, AnyMules, Phoenix Flare, sir spectre and me. For this one we had sir spectre up the tree, and it was a big tree too! Only thing is he forgot to take a pen with him, so AnyMules went up half way with a pen, only to see the log book come all the way down to the ground when the throw missed the mark, so AnyMules came back down and then up half way again, and sir spectre came park way down from the top to grab it from him and return it to where it came from. A tough one, and worth the high terrain rating and maybe more. TNLNSL TFTC
We appreciate the time and effort the CO has gone to and please don't hold this copy and paste log against us!
We were in the area this weekend for The Surf Coast event, our second ever Mega.
Not usually liking crowds I have to say I really enjoyed the Mega, I was reminded how diverse and friendly our caching community is and this mega also reminded how many friends I have within the community, a warm fuzzy buzz has lasted several days!
We didn't do any crazy numbers and avoided the power trails mostly.
I had my family with me, caching wears thin on them after awhile so we did some easy ones near the Mega then we ventured out and focused on my favorite caches which are Earth caches and letterboxes.
Ms-enchantress and her lovely family came along.
This was one I had looked at and decided against as my hubby has a bad shoulder at the moment and I don't do heights but then Ms-enchantress suggested it, her hubby did a great job getting up there, we were disappointed at one stage but then my geo son pulled the load for our team and spotted THE cache and we soon had our names in the log.

Not originally on the to be found list for Ghostgums, The Green Geckos, Mistraluna and I this weekend, but it popped up on the GPS and someone in the team was very keen to have a go...
Naturally, we spent time at the listed cords looking for something we would never find, before reading the description and correcting our problem. At the revised location, the container was quickly spotted and like lightening, TGG was off like a cat up he tree...
The log was extracted and our sticker added. Business done, the cache was reassembled and with the full team back on terra firma, we shot through to the Surf Coast Event.
Cheers Jacko83.

Found with TeamThommo whist attending the nearby mega
The thommo's suggested this might be too hard given the at rating.. The decision was made and I sent the plumber up.. Almost about to give up, read the description again when we spotted what we needed.
Thanks for placing the cache.. I giggled watching hubby descend

Sir_Spectre climbed the tree, but forgot the pen. So I joined him half way up to swap. Names of our group added to the log book. TFTC. 12/11/16, 6:41 pm Find #3261.
Brad&Janet, Freddo, *Cache_or_Check*, and I gave this one a try, but with @Cache_or_Check* at about 2/3 of the way up the tree, we decided that discretion was the better part of valor and elected to abort our find attempt.
A 100kg frame and thin, dry and seemingly brittle branches caused me to abort the ascend 3/4 up the tree.
Janet and I are here for the Mega. Along with a few others we solved a number of puzzles before coming. This was one of those.
Today we were out with Freddo, Cache_or_Check, and Moun10bike.
This was the one we went to get en route to our major tasks for the day.
Howevert he combination of location and thinness of support and size of potential retrievers made us decide that half way was far enough.
Discretion was the better part of valour and so this one was a DNF.
On to the next target
Thanks anyway Jacko83

Suscoe arrived in Torquay this afternoon in the very good company of Phetlern and Bushfire.
The reason for us being here is an interesting one and we decided that we needed to inquire about this letter box.
So we made our way to where it should have been and sure enough we spotted this one and the ascent was commenced.
The log was signed and all was good.
We did have some interesting conversations with some locals as well and we carried out a bit of Geocaching promotion work too.
Thanks to Jacko83 for this cache, an enjoyable way to spend the afternoon.
We concluded our day out here and went our separate ways.
Wonder where we will be tomorrow

Down in this area again today with my great caching mates the suscoe cachers and the Phetlern Team who have a wealth of knowledge between them with about 30,000 finds.
Gee there is some growth around this year so it looks like a nasty year for us fire-fighters.
After a great coffee in the main street discussing what we were going to do tomorrow it was decided that we would have a look at this guy while here.
Cache was soon located, but gee it is a long way up but that was no problem and shortly the 41st letterbox cache was recorded in the stats for the ageing bushfire.
Thanks Jacko83 for placing this cache even though it is much higher than the last one placed here.

We found a cache here in the past, with the vulture making the climb - which was more modest back then. In recent months, this has been the only unfound cache on our map of Torquay. Therefore we were extremely grateful to Mr Triton today to perform the "monkey duties" for our group. No sooner was he at the required height than the ziplock bag with the logbook and stamp descended upon us mere earthlings. It got caught ca. 2 metres up in a tree fork, from where SnapHappy finished off the retrieval. In the time we took to exchange stamps in our books, our helpful tree climbing specialist had made his way down again to collect our "air mail", and up he climbed a second time.
We thank the CO for this lofty hide - for once, one we could get with the help of a fitter group member. And we express our gratitude to Mr Triton who helped us out - not for the first time!

Out enjoying the lovely sunny day with Suss Vulture, TheTritonz and Snap Happy. Stopping for ice cream and grabbing a few caches , we headed down to this area to clean up this stunning area of unfounds. We had a monkey with us, that was at the container before the rest of us contemplated it.
Thanks Jacko for bringing us to this place...

*Found whilst out and about with suss vulture, The_Tritonz and TR! for the day*...
As I set off up the said tree a monkey shot past me on the other side of the trunk... Sure, he is younger, fitter, more able, better looking but we were all that once... Thanks Mr Tritonz for completing the climb and I was happy to help out in some small way...
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Jacko83...

I can remember the old cache that was here, much larger and a lot lower to the ground, a nice tree here, I little tricky at times but all round a pretty basic climb. I completed the projections which lead successfully to GZ where the cache log was stamped and signed. The cache is in good condition and it is a great way to attach it to the tree as this way the lid nor the container will fall to the bottom. I was worried that my pen would fall out of my pocket on the climb however I got it up to the top.
It's great to find a cache by this CO as they are usually extremely hard puzzles or on the Barwon with a kayak!! I am slowly making my way through your puzzles and hope one day To paddle out and find all of your caches.
Thanks again to this CO for this cache, you are a very valuable asset to our geocaching community.

After doing some touristy stuff we stopped for a quickish cache in Torquay.
Climbed up and found a bracket with cable ties attached, but no cache. Thinking it had been muggled I geaded back down after taking pics.
On way back to car, re-reading the cache page realised I found a red herring, so back up I went. This time kept going until I got to the actual cache!
Nice view up here.

We were staying in Felix Cr, so this cache was very close. The tree was taller than I thought it would be and there was quite a bit of sap, so our hands were sticky afterwards :/ TFTC
We came to Torquay today with this cache and some clothes shopping as our missions. Well, the clothes shopping was an epic fail, but this cache was a success. The 2 geokids zoomed up the tree. I stayed below for possible but hopefully not damage control, but did climb up part way to prove to the geokids that I could. What a great tree and very climbable. We had several muggles walk by, commenting on the monkeys all the way up in the tree. Nothing to see here, move on, lol. We had great fun here, thanks for this tree that we can actually climb without ropes. Fp for the adventure.
** [JFTF] With Sims_Family, Neville_devil and The_Tritonz !! **
After spending half a day up at Enfield state forest, I had just got home when I received a message from one half of The_Tritonz. He wanted to know if I was in interested in a FTF hunt ?? Yeah, why not !! Turns out it was tree climb, down Torquay way. We made the trip down there in record time and pulled up in the little car park. There were a few cars parked here, but none that we recognised. Maybe it is still is up for grabs !! Alright, now for one bit of geocaching I still struggle with.... projecting a waypoint.
We were just about to type in some numbers when I heard a booming voice in the distance. Are they having a festival here, because it sounds like an announcement from the town crier!! Hang on a minute, that voice sounds familiar. We headed towards those dulcet tones and sure enough.... hello Sims_Family. Wait, but there's more !! High up in the sky was Neville_devil. Seeing as the log hadn't been signed, they were very generous in letting us share in a JFTF. It was great to catch up with some fellow cachers. The hide was a lot further up than I anticipated. While I was at work I seen the email for this one come through, thinking I would have no chance for a FTF I put the phone away and got back to work.
After finishing work for the day I noticed FTF was still up for grabs so a quick message to DAB and he was soon at my front door itching for a FTF.
And off we went to Tourqay and found our destination.
After making our way to GZ we were greeted by the Sims_Family and Neville Devil.
We all decide we would make this a Joint (FTF) as the log book had not been extracted.
What a great climb this tree is, it's always good to bring the monkey in me back out.
Thanks Jacko83 for the cache a Favorite point headed your way.

Joint [FTF] with Neville_devil tritonz and DAB
We saw the notification for this pop up this morning and my first instincts were to rush out and try for the FTF but then realism took over. Things need to be done around Lara before we can go anywhere and then Miss 15 needs to be picked up from work at 2pm, plus the chances of getting a FTF all the way down in Torquay from Lara is nearly impossible with Geelong's FTF hunters. So we put it on our watch list and decided we would make an attempt after we picked up Miss 15 from work.
Then I saw it was a Jacko83 tree climb but not a T5. Hmmm I wonder if it the tree that once had a cache in that we did in our early days of caching. That was a really good tree.
The letter box needs a projection that's no problem but the cache notes says bearing 137m and distance 83.83°. That is a little mixed up. So I project both coordinates just to be sure
A call to Neville_devil was also made to see if he was interested in the afternoon attack. Off course he was in too.
The errands around Lara were completed. Snacks and drinks were packed for the kids and were were off to collect miss 15 on the way down to Torquay. Surprisingly no logs had been lodged yet so maybe a FTF was still on the cards. It would be a minor miracle but we would take it if possible.
We arrive at the rough area of GZ and head to the first of the coordinates projected but no climbable tree so off to the second lot off coordinates. That is the tree we have been up before. Miss15 says I'm going up so does Neville_devil. Myself and Sims_family mum start trying to locate the cache from below to give directions. Around this point we see half of the Tritonz and DAB arrive. Apparently my voice carries so well they didn't need coordinates at all just followed my voice. It was agreed that a joint FTF by all present was the go . I had spotted the cache and directed Neville_devil who scampered up to the top to discover that FTF was still on. . The log was passed down to Miss15 who then threw it to me.
FTF page was then stamped with the Sims_family Stamp and the Neville_devil stamp along with the Tritonz and DAB signatures. Then the Tritonz climbed up to Miss 15 who put the log in her pocket and started climbing back to Nevile_devil at the top on to have the log fall out and back to the bottom again. This time the Tritonz took over and said I'll tack it all the way. He just about flew up the tree and all was returned as found.
Thanks Jack83 for a great cache and reintroducing a great tree for climbing back into the caching community. A favourite point from us
