Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

Where is the Needs Maintenance option - it goes straight to NA?
With 3 DNF's now, would it be possible for the CO to go and check on this cache please?

DNF at 11:25 AM.
If this cache is up high, then we missed it. We only checked about 2 - 3 metres up.

Unfortunately after a nearby successful tree climb we couldn't find the replacement cache after my son and I spent some time monkeying around on every possible branch. Great spot and thanks anyway
We have a toddler and she adored this park...I'm going to be honest, I loved this park too...however...we looked and looked and climbed and looked and looked some more but could not find this cache. I hate logging a DNF and was unwilling to let it beat us...but it did.
Out with Selva Girls today we stopped in at the park to collect a smilie. After a thorough search we then looked to the pile of cut banches on the ground beneath the tree. Oh dear... We contacted the CO who kindly gave us permission to replace the container. We have dne so as close as possible to the previous placement given the missing branches. Coords remain the same. Tftc OrionJ
Next, stortigirls and I headed to this one. We searched and searched without luck. Eventually, we made a PAF tot he CO who sent us a pic of where the cache should be. I returned to the car and brought back a tool of the trade. This enabled us to definitely confirm that the cache was missing. With the COs permission, we replaced the cache. TFTC
Might need checking 6 mths since being found and it had been muggles before may return one day for this
Picked “the darker one” to climb, but couldn’t locate the container Wish we knew what we were looking for...
Heading to an event somewhere on the side of this big long hill this morning. Took the scenic route up and over Tamborine.
This one was placed the last time i was here. At an event. In the rain.
I timed my arrival perfectly today. Some early arrivals for the event had located the cache and all I had to do was add my name to the log.
Nice easy, quick find when you are handed the log.

Down this way for the event and had to grab this one. Took what felt like an eternity to spot the cache, but eventually it was spied.
A couple of us came prepared for the ascent, but trying to get on the ladder proved difficult. Log eventually signed.

While attending the Hinterland Round Up event here, a group assault on this cache proved fruitful.
First we had to decide which tree it was in, secondly took a bit to finally locate the cache and thirdly, the getting of the cache.
With ladder extended, IolantheK scaled to new heights and found this cache while 3 others held it securely.
Logbook signed by all and then returned to its hide.

at the hinterland event ... everyone has a job to do
mine is to take the photos

I was up here for the Hinterland round up and a group of geocachers gathered to tackle this tree hide. IolantheK was the brave intrepid climber on a wet day with the help of a ladder, and I had little to do but get my name signed in the log. I'll come back and tackle this climb on a drier day

I travelled down from the North side of Brisbane today with IolantheK to attend the "Hinterland Round up #5 Mum's Day Out". We had several caches planned for the surrounding areas. The cache was right near the event so we had to find it. IolantheK and I looked around for a while, then others came with ladders and a group of us searched for longer. The wet weather made it difficult. Eventually I spotted the cache and was able to point it out. IolantheK climbed the ladder and retrieved the log. Nice to tick this one off the list. TFTC
Zacgyver and I are heading to the Hinterland Round-up event to day and we had a little time along the way to grab a couple of caches.
As soon as we arrived we headed over to get this one sorted, but GPS had us rattling between the two trees, and we couldn't spot the cache, and everything was damp so we gave up Shortly a few others with ladders headed over so we joined them, and eventually Zacgyver spied the container. I was the lucky one who got to do the fetching. TFTC, OrionJ.

We arrived at the event to find a group walking around under some trees gazing upwards. As we joined the group someone (RoddyC) arrived with a ladder. After a cry of "There it is" the intrepid IolantheK headed upwards braving the slippery conditions and retrieved the prize. Our team name was added to the log.
Thanks for the cacheOrionJ

Talked Rusty85 into doing some tree climbs for us in exchange for dinner, not that she needed the enticement as the thrill of going up is her real incentive. I knew I had been in this park before for another cache. TFTC
On to our fourth tree climb of the day and the light was fading fast which made it hard to search but with a few keen eyes, the cache was soon spotted. Big thanks to geo friend Rusty85 for offering to go up to nab the prize and sign on our behalf and thanks OrionJ for the neat hide
Heading up the hill this morning towards a more difficult adventure, I felt like a break here to take a looksee. I scrambled up to the first floor, and pondered where would be a suitable spot higher up for longevity. I know the CO thinks these things through so I spied an area that made sense to me and scrambled up to the loft. In the light rain and mist this was a little awkward, but doable for me. And by doing so I actually put my hand right on it. Hooray. All good here.
Thanks for placing this cache, OrionJ. Found in good condition.

I had a look at this one however was unable to spot it from the ground. There were some muggles playing on the courts so I didnt wanna attact any attention by doing the climb. Maybe another time
Thanks anyways OrionJ

Today went for a run down the Coast with OrionJ. Since he had to do some maintenance on this càche we went along. Once at GZ he found the càche was missing so had to replace it. Added our name to log and had a wander about enjoying the views. TFTC
I was in the area and made a stop to check seems the container was gone and the attachment still there. Added a new container so happy hunting
We don't seem to have much luck with tree climbs. For some reason the cache seemed to elude us!! WE did find a zip tie around a branch in the tree (will have to message the owner with a photo to check if that was it), but no cache anywhere - we even checked the ground just in case.
Unfortunately the park, which was supposed to be finished by the beginning of September, now looks to be half finished, overgrown and abandoned. I can see that the original idea was fantastic, and would be a fabulous play space if/when it ever gets finished.
I suppose there's a cache here too that still needs our signature!

Its bad when one with FTF forgets to log it when he gets home. The only reason I noticed was because I came by here this arvo and noticed all the upgrades. There is now a basketball court really close to gz, new garden paths. I shall have to bring everyone back again to see the improvements
Met up with Nyssa and monkey before our adventure down Back Creek Gorge. Nice little tree climb to compliment the other one in the park.
Thanks OrionJ
Thanks OrionJ
I was on my way up the mountain for a hike down Back Creek Gorge this morning and the plan was to meet half of the crew here at the park. We were going to check on another cache and of course hunt this one down.
It was pretty early and fresh when I arrived but the others were already here waiting. After some chit chat and finding the nearby archived we headed on over to GZ. Of course I went up the wrong one first which ended in nothing. Then humbug yells out, I think it's up this one. Hums brother and I went up while he looked from the ground and somehow he spotted it before us.
Formalities were soon done then we vacated. There's nothing like a good tree climb early in the morning, thanx again OrionJ.

Out with Gullivers Travels54 today and we made a nice quick find here. Tftc
We were at the park to find the archived cache nearby and volunteered the youngest to climb the tree ,a quick find was made when looking from a different angle TFTC
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
The event was wrapping up and most of the packing up had been done when there was word of a new cache published in the area.
How far?
"A hundred or so meters"
As they say "it would be rude not to" and off we went to claim the {FTF}. After a quick search Mr SaintMadHouse came up with the find. The rest of us weren't exactly barking up the wrong tree but we may have gone out on a limb.... the wrong limb.
Thanks for the cache OrionJ. Cheers!!

Having just attended another great Hinterland Roundup event this afternoon we were about to head home when news of this new cache came in. A small group of us quickly headed over to GZ. We each chose which way we were going to tackle this and it wasn't long before the cache was spotted. Next came the signing formalities and with joint agreement we all decided upon a joint FTF. TFTC OrionJ.
FTF with other geocachers after the geocaching event and roddyc had to sign for us 7 geocacher names! Thank u roddyc for sign for us!! TFTC.
*FTF* A nice quick find after a great event! We joined Fangsoki, OrionJ, Herbz, saintsmadhouse and Radnoski and were all sitting around when we spotted the new cache being published

A group of us were milling about our cars - nearly ready to leave from the nearby Event when OrionJ came screaming up the road in his chariot. He informed us there was an FTF published here.
A few years ago I would have had notifications for traditionals on the Gold Coast set up - but I had deleted them.
We soon ascertained that the stealthy OrionJ himself had placed it earlier in the day. Apparently the mob that OrionJ were with when it was published didn't seem too interested in the FTF - so we'll happily take it
Mr SaintsMadHouse led the charge to GZ. While the rest of us were skylarking for the cache, Mr SaintsMadHouse found the beast. The signing duties were done. We got FTF at 1555.
My 101st *FTF* and a group find with SaintsMadHouse, Radnoski, Gaz'n'Kab, and Team Herbz (I hope I haven't forgotten anyone).
A great little diversion - and a worthy area for a cache. Well done, OrionJ - thanks for alerting us to it

Before and after the event at Lower Beechmont today, a group of us cached around Maudsland and surrounds. A great time was had by all. This one was a bit challenging but finally it was spotted. Thanks OrionJ.
Out around Maudsland and Lower Beechmont area caching with a group of fellow cachers. A overcast day, however this did not stop us caching. Came back to the Park where the event was held today to locate this new Cache. After a while the cache was located and was signed. TFTC OrionJ
Today we planned a caching run to coincide with the Hinterland Round-up at Lower Beechmont, so what better than to turn a group of green dots yellow! Fellow cachers Nadine1989 and Geefer joined us for the occasion. All up we found all 25 of our planned caches for the day, including the event.
After the event, we were up at Freeman's Lookout with OrionJ when he announced that a cache had been published nearby the just-concluded event: his cache. So after completing our finds, we journeyed back to the Syd Duncan Park to see what the new cache was. We found the area deserted upon arrival, and the hint led us to the obvious tree. As daylight was fast disappearing under the heavy cloud cover, making the light under the canopy most difficult to spot anything, we resorted to a quick PAF to the CO to get an approximation on the cache location. That solved, a few of the group attempted the climb, but ultimately only one was successful in grabbing the cache. Log book located and signed for all present.
Found at 4.35pm on 12th June 2016. TFTC.

We had to find this cache as well on this Sunday so RoddyC had another opportunity to climb up a tree.
