Searched all rocks near the big tree... nothing
evidence of others looking as rocks moved and ground disturbed.
found empty zip lock bag

found empty zip lock bag
No find for us .... found a small zip lock bag but nothing else. Only really one big tree to speak of. Last log was a boring generic one so no help at all. Looks like someone has been sleeping nearby at some stage.

Did not find but found what looked like a log paper all ripped up around the mark
Found the log paper away from the cache. It was full and slightly older so there may have been another piece of paper that has gone awol.
Container was open again and no longer hidden.
Have added extra paper, placed in ziplock bag, and hid the cache properly.
Fingers crossed it will stay out of sight of muggley people a little longer this time.

Very cool spot nice and easy for the kids .but not under a rock as it stated in the hint
Down in Christchurch with the Squirrel, ABCDF4 and eyespyben. During Covid lockdown, we solved a load of puzzles and decided that this would be a good time to visit. We've enjoyed a few days of good weather and seeing the Canterbury countryside. The caches have been in varying states - some good, some not so much. Our time here has been a blast, and we'd like to thank all COs who have made this adventure possible. Thank you and TFTC.
With ABCDF4, eyespyben, and Gap (of Fap and Gap). Logging all finds as Team HRP (Huntly, Rotorua, Papamoa - Our hometowns)... During Covid-19 lockdown, we solved a truck load of puzzles around Christchurch - Canterbury region. No use thrashing the old grey matter for no cause - We decided we should make good on this handiwork...
There are lots of interesting trails and geoart surrounding Christchurch. What you aren’t told is how far flung some of these caches actually are. Some beforehand advice would have been great, so here are some of my notes... You’re welcome!
1. Mobile coverage is patchy, especially in those quiet, rural areas where it was most needed. Saving caches to offline might show that you are prepared and organised...
2. There are many dusty metal roads on the trails. The car will get messy, and your hair will feel like cardboard at the end of the day...
3. Suitable clothing and footwear are essential. You will climb in and out of hedges, gorse, and other rough stuff. You might get scratched, cut to shreds, and bleed a lot. It’s not advised to wear your brand new jacket on the day...
4. Take lots of food and drink. You’ll probably be head down, tail up and not realise you haven’t eaten until late afternoon. There are very few shops or gas stations out there...
5. Make sure that you secure keys and wallet and know where these are placed for easy retrieval. A full box of pens might be useful too, especially if you’re inclined to free some into the wild...
6. Know the difference between left and right, and north, south, east, and west. Turning right and heading north will not get you to South Christchurch quickly.
7. Look with girl’s eyes rather than boys eyes... Some caches haven’t been found in a while and you might have to get down on your knees to pray.
8. Always be prepared for misleading hints. This is what turns simple caches into D5/T5 hides... “Head height” could mean the cache is positioned at your toes.
9. Have a sense of humour and like the people you go caching with. It’s going to be a very long day, and you might want to hurt someone during the journey...
10. Make sure you can operate your phone/device and it doesn’t crash when you most need it...
11. Learn to cut and paste logs because you’re going to repeat this function so often when logging all of your finds.
12. Above all else, have fun and be kind...
Today is our last full day of caching in the Christchurch area. We really wanted to look at different areas - places we’ve not visited in previous escapades in the city... We’ve never entered the ‘Red Zone’ before, so a walk through for caching purposes might give us a different perspective. It’s hard passing through the area that was once someone’s property and neighbourhood... A straightforward find - Located as hinted. Thanks TwoSharpe and TFTC.

After puzzle solving in the Canterbury region along with ABCDF4 we were invited to join Fap (from Fap & Gap) and Squirrel Nutcase to a week long caching adventure in the Canterbury area. With flights and accommodation booked were off, all met up in ChCh. and many hard dusty Kms travelled and many caches found, I think the Squirrel has said it all in his brief. Many thanks for the placements and Cos for bringin us to the very pleasant areas we travelled in to your region

Lovely day to get a couple of caches. Easily found, signed, and returned. Thanks for hiding.
A quick find while out on a most enjoyable bike ride with Talla64 and our grandson. Thanks for placing a cache here.
Found while on a bike ride with Flowerydaze and our grandson. Well covered with leaf litter made it difficult but not too much. Tftc
This was my first time doing this and it was so fun. It didn’t take me long to find it but can’t wait for my next finding!
More whitebaiters up here, it has made muggle diding quite interesting today. No problems here though, once in through the jungle. Cheers
My son loved this hidy hole, great day for geocaching, much better than last weekend. Tftc
Went the long way round but sweet in the end. Definitely have shoe envy about KRs dry socks. Too bad his feets too big! for me. Tftc
Found by 6 year old muggle neighbour who was keen to come geocaching with us today to see what it is all about. We emptied a lot of water out of cache but log book was soaking. I added some waterproof paper in a new plastic bag so hopefully this will hold out for a while. TFTC!
Thanks! Not a waterproof container... contents were soaked, but still put names down.
A nice walk along the river which is very high after the storm last night even though there wasn't that much rain. Easy find.
I was on my bike today. I had left the vehicle at Novus getting my crack sorted and had the morning hooning around the city.
Dove into the bushes for a quick find.
Thanks for the cache TwoSharpe.

Down here for the weekend to see family and with the day off and the weather awesome figured I'd go for a wander and try my luck.
Nice and quiet here and didn't take too long to figure out where this one should be and soon had the cache in hand after a couple of laps figuring out the best way in before carrying on along the way. TFTC

Making the most of a nice afternoon between a course and a dinner invite! Quick find, but then I was going to head out the closer way and got stuck between vegetation, and had to retreat the same way I came in. TFTC!!
Quick find with the kids after a bike ride on this side of town. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent aka TB (prev known as BJ25). Find # 1785
