Im a local and have driven past this everyday for as long as I can recall. Today was the day I stopped. GPS told me it was 27 metres in the opposite direction so after a few selfies overlooking Karalee we decided to go hunting but what was that? Cache was sitting out in the open at GZ. Unfortunately I did not have a new baggie and log book to add to it but managed to scribble on the wet square of paper. Thanks for bringing us here.
Found thx for putting somewhere with a beautiful view. Needs new log didn't have any paper on me sorry
Coordinates definitely off. Look for the lookout sign and know that it is not in an unsafe position. The clue given could have the searcher go off track looking for a log.
After a night of caching around the Brisbane area this little cache was a lovely surprise - also dont forgot to stop and enjoy the view
I found this cache many many years ago whilst visiting family in Mount Crosby (have a business in Ipswich and we live near Ipswich UK) sorry just got around to finding - will try and back log to the visit date. Thanks for placing for us to find (we were very new and only did the one before we got hooked haha) Also we are West Ham football fans in the UK and our logo is The Hammers - just noticed this (checked the brother in law its not him haha)
Camping near here and went walking to find this cache. The cache was here but no log book in it. I signed the paper that the last cacher left.
With a few hours to kill this afternoon and after a big long weekend last weekend I popped out to pick up a few caches and keep up the good numbers for the year this far.I headed west this afternoon and had an adventure lab and a few unknowns on the radar. I parked the car and quickly made my way to GZ and quickly located the cache. Log extracted and mark made I was soon back on the route to the car and off to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for fellow cachers to enjoy.Cheers
On the way to Karalee for a social catchup and we pulled into the tiny bay to look for this cache. Good thing there's a hint as the cache was a whopping 35m from the posted coordinates. Unfortunately, we were in ruzzelz' car, and the spare logs are in Star the Geo-Car. The coords I took today are... S27 31.862 E152 49.933A bit of wiggling to turn the car around, and on we rolled.TFTC Lisylou
We looked for way too long, even after we read the (vital) hint. It was open which for a change is a good thing as the weather was dry and toasty and the log book nice and dry too. We put it back and covered it better. TFTC.
Bit mangled but found the box lid and book all seperate we put it all together so happy Hunting
I go past Curra on my way to Hervey Bay where I have had a Christmas. A quick find. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Lisylou. Still a log and lid.
Found it! Definitely muggles have been at work here. I'll come back and replace the container for you all so none have to miss out!!! Be very careful if you follow the instructions others have left or you'll be sliding to the river 20 m below!
We found the lid to your container but little else. There were lots of balloons scattered around - not sure if this was part of it or not
Out this way today with Willis007 and Chamad for some caching. I was very happy to avenge a DNF here from a couple of years ago before there was a hint. As others have said, it’s about 35m out and in a much easier location than the posted coordinates. Definitely worth stopping here for the view. Tftc
Out on a great caching day with Kolour and chamad, we had a couple of target caches on the radar, and collected some others along the way.
A quick find here today.
Thanks Lisylou for bringing us here to admire the amazing views.

Nice easy find. Beautiful view!
Thanks Lisylou for the cache and egginthesky for the replacement container. The log is quite brittle but I was still able to sign it.

Found this a while ago, however the container was gone. I have come back today and replaced the container and put it back in place.
Stopped by on my way home today to find this one finally!
I took note of the distance that has been listed as its cords are out.
I found the correct GZ and a hidden logbook only!! Searched for a container to no avail.
Will contact CO and bring a replacement container and sign the log asap.
Not sure if the hint would still be around.

Thankyou for placing the cache. We're visiting from Townsville and looked for a couple of caches in the area.
Found remains of cache, intact only notebook. Seen better days. Cache itself was unretriavable. Maintenance required.
Tftc, co ords out 29m see pic.
Having a drive on the less travelled road today.
We have a few target caches on the list today

Out for a quick pedal to round up and AL and a few strays along the way. Found with help from previous logs
I was drawn to the are by the recent AL series and there were a few caches scattered amongst them that I hadn't found. This was one of them.
II arrived and then had to wait for my GPS to acquire satellite reception. I wandered around and checked out the spectacular view. That is certainly a high bank. One I had the GPS working i headed to where it was pointing but stopped short to head the hint and then returned to where I had been checking the view and located the cache about 1m from where I had started originally.

Having completed a nearby adventure lab I was now collecting a few caches from the area. By the time I got here it had just gone on dark. Gees night fall happens so quick in this area. I got off the road and parked up on the dirt strip beside the road. With lights on I managed to drive up to the sign. The hint was a big help with this one as the gps wanted to put me somewhere else. Very gingerly I made my way to grabbing the cache, it looked like a long way down if you take a wrong step, lol, even in the dark.
I signed the log and replaced as found then made my way out of my little hiding spot. Thanks for the cache and the hide, all good with this one.

With the updated hint I made a new attempt here. About thirty meters out on my phone
Looker at the view and the flood damage along the river before moving on
Thank you for this cache

What great views from up here. Firstly i took some photos and enjoyed the view ( the river is so brown today ) and then off to find the cache which i found by using the hint ( thank you ). Thanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Looked around I asked the lovely lady who put the geocache there for some help and will go back another day to try and find again
Amazing views. I found it easily from the hint but my phone said it was 35m out. Thanks for the cache
Having taken our heavily pregnant dog to the vet this morning, I planned a quick trip to Costco… she’ll only eat BBQ chicken…
I’ve taken the longest route possible without going via the Gold Coast… I checked out this cache before leaving home, and knowing the direction I was going thought it a better chance to stop… I read Davidwazza’s log with interest…
So after parking LeDeVine as close as possible without going bush, I followed Geepers down the slope… quickly spotting the throw down I made my mark and started back towards LeDeVine…
That’s when I checked the hint… considering the options, I thought why not… so making my way to the “alternate” GZ I soon located the actual cache… I had it a some 37m from where I was originally looking… that’s quite some variation… tftc…

Today, I headed out to Lake Manchester to join georode on a kayak expedition. That adventure involved a 2 km return on foot (and kayaks on wheels) hike, and a 7.5 km paddle, with the trek up the hills the most tiring.
Following the kayak morning, I returned back via a few stops in Mount Crosby, Karana Downs, Anstead, Moggill, and Bellbowrie. An hour was spent taking a hike to where eagles soar, and a stop at Anstead Bushland Reserve's quarry was pretty cool and a favourite of the day.
I was running ahead of time in meeting georode, and so I made a stop here. I remember looking at this geocache a few months ago with the rich history of DNFs, but noted a recent replacement cache, so perhaps I had a chance to find this cache today. I took a walk down the slope, and after making a short search around, I found the recent throwdown cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, but it was a simple unpainted Eclipse mint container that looked like rubbish, and the logbook was just a poor quality receipt. It wasn't clear if CO permission was provided in replacing, and prior to that, the CO was quite stern in the cache not being missing (as recent as 22/06/2021). To clear up any confusion, perhaps the CO should make a visit here to confirm if the original cache is still there waiting to be found, and/or this replacement cache is satisfactory. Some nice views of the river below. Thanks Lisylou for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I was in the area today to pick up an order and dropped in to make few local finds. My youngest and I were careful to climb down the slope and hunted in the obvious places as well as a couple of less obvious ones. All that could be found was part of what looked like the log. Back to the car for a replacement container and a makeshift log to keep this cache going. Tftc and great views.
As I was out this way, I decided to have a look for this one. I went behind the fence and scrambled down the hill a short distance to where gz was. There were lots of trails from previous geocachers I presume, plus lots of rubbish - bottles, paint tins and so much more - plus cactus - so not a very nice place to look. I did spread out my search but gave up after some time and went to enjoy the view instead. Maybe having a hint would make it easier for people to find.
Made a second stop here, still no cache for me. As there is a string of dnf log I add a needs maintenance

Had a good walk down the slope. Found lots of rubbish and even a small track. But no cache. Great view though.
Came here as I’d never stopped here before & I wanted a view out over yesterday’s adventures. After a few minutes gave up. What a horrible disgusting spot. The view is great, but why can’t people respect these places?!?
So much rubbish and crap (human crap ) everywhere - so sad

No joy today. Lots of great cache hiding places but not where I looked. Once you get over the edge the GPS goes a little barmy and wants you to go in the opposite direction. Only one from four so far today, so I need to pull my finger out and get my proper geo-eyes on!

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

A beautiful view of the water and surrounding suburbs. A dissapointing DNF. Up and down the cliff like a bush wallaby and nothing. ️
Gave this a good search. Great views, pleasant day. The rubbish and broken glass in this area made searching slow. Unfortunately we've added our names to the DNF list. Thank you.
Got within 1 metre of the way point but no luck. Difficult in the rain and to navigate in the overgrown bush. I will be back another day.
did not find even after jumping the fence bit keen on doing this one again without better clues
Well hidden and in good condition. You don’t have to go over the cliff or to far from the fence (less than 15m). Not like we did following my gps, though there are some good views near the river LOL.
Thanks for the geocache.
Thanks for the geocache.
I tried again this afternoon, and after extending my search out by about 3 meters, I found the cache. It great condition and got me the clue.
Thanks
Thanks
After a busy caching day yesterday, in the company of WallabyTim & KaleidoscopeCass, and a late night (after midnight) we managed a nice sleep in this morning but there are caches to find so off we go!
Being basically lazy I ignored the recommendation to park across the road & pulled the Geo-Beast up nicely next to the fence & out of harm's way.
A quick scan of the area & I realised I would have to make my way in via the longer route, dodgy hip & all. LOL …
The compass drew me closer until I had flashes of a rapid descent to the waters far below & after a poke here & a prod there I began to doubt my ability to find this sneaky cache.
But hold on!
It's a regular, big enough to trip over!
Looking around I decided to check out one more spot before admitting defeat.
Well, well, looky here!
Nicely placed.
Made our mark & replaced as found then returned to safer ground.
Ignore my earlier comment regarding parking, if you are the least bit intimidated by blind spots & crazy drivers then it's probably best to pay heed to the CO.
Being a touch insane myself it wasn't really a concern for me today. LOL …
