Quiet day for caching, a bit of drizzle and not a soul around. Enjoyed the walk and a bellbird singing away. TFTH
No work Monday, but just back from a weekend tramping = not keen on too long a walk for my cache of the day (to keep my streak alive).
There were a couple of options near the edge of the forest. Today I chose this one.
A gentle stretch of the legs, and an easy find. You can't ask for more than that!

Evening walk after work. I was surprised how many people were out walking/biking on a 'school night'! TFTC!!
Just dropped off Lo Vista at Burwood and I decided to enjoy a bit of sea air. Found this cache on the way. Had no pen to sign hope this photo will sufffice. TFTC
Out for a Caching walk this morning.
Last one in the forest.
That would have been tough to find without the hint. Most appreciated.

I had to drop Miss 5 at a birthday party and as I had three hours to spend, decided on a cyclocache, funnily seemed to be following TW a fortnight later. Thanks for the effort that goes into placing the cache and maintaining.
I headed out for a bike ride around the park today and wanted to clean up the caches. I had the morning to play with and headed out. I found a few caches and DNFed one. Had a great time looping here and there around the park. All done I ended up biking 20km. Good fun.
Hooned out here via the MTB track and diverted nearby to go down Whiskey Road. Quick find in the needles.
Thanks for the cache Kiwi864.

Lovely day to be out wandering - just couldn’t walk past these.
Thanks Kiwi864 for placing the cache.

In Christchurch for a few days visiting a sick family member at Burwood Hospital. Took time off for a walk and a couple of caches on a rather warm summer’s day. Headed to this one from “Cool Oasis”. Fortunately there were good (sandy) walking tracks that took me all the way there. Found with little difficulty. #1668. TFTC.
Quick find with my little boy. Gorgeous day. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25. Find# 1439

Found on a great walk up the Pegasus Bay Track and back along Whisky Road, picking this one up on the way home, last one for the day. Used the hint for a very quick find here. Tftc!
Very quick find, the container was out in the open. I threw a few pine needles over it to make it less obvious. And left a token.
Nothing better to do on my day off. Decided to go for a walk in the forest. Quick find.
7546. After not having a chance to do this one last week, we were in the area again with our walking group, so made sure we did it this time. Took a bit of searching. Thanks. Rodney and Iris.
When we arrived at the Parking Spot it had become extremely hot to be looking for this Series so only found two of them today,as we had Jessie our Geo Puppy in tow..
Had to be quick as a Muggle was walking towards us.Was cool under the Trees though..TFTH

Was a nice day to be out walking with my geo mutts and my cache buddy. Thanks for the caches. Made for a fun morning.
It was a nice morning for a walk. My caching buddy was free so a plan was hatched. She has 2 dogs so this cache meant they got a walk too. Thanks for placing geocaches in Bottle Lake Forest. It made for a pleasant day out.

A beautiful day, and so time for a little bit of a walk. I decided on headed down to bottle lake, as there are heaps of new caches since I was last here! - Plus, the baby hates car caching, and I haven't really managed it yet with a baby, but I can manage walk caching - normally - so a walk it was.
We bundled up and I put the backpack on the back, and the baby on the front.
Luckily most caches were an easy find, and baby slept the whole way there, only waking for a feed at the last cache, and then sleeping most of the way back too! (Walking is easier than staying at home! Gosh!! )
TFTC!!

StreetWalker and I had been visiting family on this side of town, so took the opportunity to pick up a few caches afterwards .
After finding the nearby cache Sir Vogel, we decided we'd do the short walk to this cache. I wasn't wearing my walking shoes as I was planning on changing into them afterwards (had helpfully brought the socks with me but totally forgot the shoes!) so found the stones a little uncomfortable to walk on. Luckily it was a short walk. Will have to return with the bikes to round up the other unfound caches in the area. TFTC.

#13410. A lot of caches have sprung up in Bottle Lake Forest since I cleaned it out in 2010. Good to find another in the area. TFTC.
Quick find tonight. Very peaceful out. Sound of the sea. A few birds chirping and beautiful scent from the flowering lupins. Tftc

No whisky for me today.
Quickly found the cache, **scrawled** my name in the logbook and fled the tsunami endangered areas.
Thanks for the cache!

Whisky Road can be a slog pushing the buggy, but the cache was an easy find. TFTC
A week late log as Chelzea and I went for a walk up the track/road collecting a few caches that have popped up since we last came this way. Met the 2Wombles + sleeping son on approach to the cache and stopped to have a chat as you do before making the quick find.
We decided that it was time for a family walk and as there were a few geocaches out this way that we hadn't found yet we decided to head here. Didn't take long to locate the cache today. Thanks for the hide.
I went out for a walk with a friend and grabbed a few caches to get to my 1000 goal. This was the first of 6. A nice quick find. Tftc.
First time I've been caching in while, went with rhewig, we must be out of touch as we forgot a pen, rhewig took a photo instead, tftc
Out with the bike today before sunset to collect the new geocaches in the park. TFTC
Made the find although I also made it harder than it needed to be! Thanks for placing this cache.
Cache number 88. Decided to branch out a bit further from home. The hint was really helpful. TFTC
Went for a wee bike ride up Whisky Road to find some caches. A nice quick find thanks.
Ms KR had a training day, so I went for a cruise around Christchurch, catching up on the new caches. Pretty cold to start withbut it did get warmer (relatively) during the day.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Out for a walk on a beautiful winter's day. This cache was a quick find. TFTC.
Time for a stroll in the forest to grab a few new caches. Quick find thanks to the hint, TFTC
Made this much harder than it was!!! Used the wrong hint which really put us into the trees. Found after a re read. Thanks.
A pleasant walk, met a few dogs and owners enjoying the winter sunshine. Easy find. TFTC
A pleasant enough day for a stroll though the park. Although not overly difficult to find it took me a bit longer to locate than would expected with hindsight. Thanks for the hide.
After morning jobs i came out this way for a bike ride. Had the track to myself. Patches of sand not too bad when wet and a bit frozen! Quick find and sign. Cheers.
After a relaxing lie in bed his morning followed by a leisurely breakfast I fired up the computer to find that along with my latest 2 caches being published there were 4 new caches to be found in Bottlelake Forest. Oh yippee. Well, that decided what I was going to do to fill in the morning. The MTB was soon loaded onto the cachemobile and I set off for Spencer Park. Wow, discovered that Heyders Rd was a scene of activity - workers were at last repairing the earthquake-damaged road surface.
After riding down the metalled, sea-side MTB track until almost abeam the Uniform Rd cache I then crossed over to sandy Uniform Rd, used in the main by horse riders and dog walkers. Fortunately, last night's rain had dampened the loose sandy surface just enough to make it a semi-rideable on a mountain bike. After signing Brother of Stumpy it took but a few minutes to ride down to this cache. Another quick find and time now to turn around and head back to Spencer Park. Thanks for the placement Kiwi864.

I saw these caches published last night, and as they are just around the corner from my house I planned on getting them first thing this morning. I arrived here just as the sun was rising and was pleased to get FTF on this cache and the 3 others published here. I also grabbed two other caches that I hadn't had an opportunity to find yet. The weather this morning was so mild for this time of year so I really enjoyed the walk, Tftc!
Had a quick look at these new caches when they were published last night... but since it was already a bit dark for a walk in Bottle Lake and I'd already had a couple of drinks, I decided to leave them for another day. Just too far to be saved for a streak saver I decided to go for this short walk this afternoon before work... after letting a couple of cyclists go past it was a quick find. TFTC (2985)
