Day two of a northern adventure with Mr’s Z, T & B and SirFancy.
Today was a day off two halves all around Geraldton.
The morning was spent walking around Point Moore and West End before retreating to the accommodation for lunch and a swim.
The afternoon was our numbers run for the day completing the series along Alexander Drive, grabbing a couple of mysteries and having a run around at the foreshore.
Today I finished with 25 finds, 7 adventure labs and 2 DNF’s.

Thanks Miss-Placed for placing Alexander Series #6 for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 15:01 on 10/4/2022.
This is find number 4360 for me.

Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!
(I’m not a geologist I just like puns)
Caching in the Greater Geraldton area today. Our intention for the day was to attack some power trails and do map cleanup around town.
Cheers Miss-Placed!

Day 3 of the road trip with the boys C10,B12,L1.77 - lots of laughs and perhaps a little therapy will be needed after this trip. But one thing is for sure - I am determined to get a few more yellows on the map on my final full day here in Gero. Many thanks to the COs for the mix of caches. Sorry for the genetic log
Started our 2nd tour of WA now touring around the south slowly heading north on our way home to Cairns. Did your Alexander Series #6 today. 3 March 2022 1:49 pm Tyfc Miss-Placed total caches now 4426 .
Today in Geraldton we used to visit the Alexander Series. We were able to find most caches well. Unfortunately we couldn't find a few and some were quite tricky or well camouflaged. Thank you for the cans.
Hi there Miss-Placed. While out on the road today we found this cache after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to Miss-Placed for this cache - our find 7907
We are on our way home from a wonderful few days spent exploring the Goldfields but there is still time to find a few more caches around Geraldton. TFTC Miss-Placed
Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply cruising around in Geraldton
.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'Miss-Placed' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'Alexander Series #6' and the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest.

Found this one with delnmax. Worked out pretty quick where it’d be. TFTC. Can’t wait to do this rest of this road.
Up in Geraldton for IGD and to clean up some more of the map, this little series some of the first of the ranks, happy to say we came up trumps and walked away with a smilie, thanks for the parks and grabs and TFTC
A quick find in the obvious (for us) place
In Geraldton for a couple of days of geocaching.
TFTC Miss-Placed this is find # 5085 for us.

We arrived in Geraldton this morning and set up at the Batavia Coast Caravan Park. We had noted this series a few days ago and decided it would be great to do on our bikes. As it was such a lovely day we thought we might as well do it straight away. We got to number 20 when Mrs SKI’s bike let her down so she continued and found the last 2 while Mr SKI ride back to the caravan to get the car so we could transport the bike and the flat tyre home.
Out of the 22 caches in the Alexander series we found 21, only missing out on number 19. We had 2 goes on number 12 before finally locating it, finding number 13 and then backtracking as we hate to miss out!
We loved the variety of different hides, although we were messed around a few times when we thought we had a pattern worked out only to be proven wrong! We are still grumpy about number 19, but as we are here for a week we’ll probably go back for another shot!
Sorry about the generic log, we forgot the iPad we use to log as we go. We really appreciated the ride (except for the flat tyre) and the opportunity to grab a series of caches on our way. We also appreciated the variety in the caches and a few in particular that were clever and showed ingenuity.

40 years employed with this crowd, [but don't hold that against him] so Mr Beetle decided he had better get this one. I didn't even have to get off the bike here. Thanks.
I’ve been caching with friends for a while, so decided to start up my own account. This is a brilliant series, I have loved every cache! Thanks for hiding it for me to find, and for taking the time to place a clever hide Miss-Placed. I did need to make a few PAF, but I got there in the end.
We headed north after Mickeydv’s runfest to try for this series. Sadly, some proved too tricky and we couldn’t be bothered searching so long for them. Thanks for creating a series off the main road.
Find #994, Found with Team Outnabout while on holidays. Looking like we will hit the 1000 mark today. TFTC.
Arrived in Geraldton Sunday night and decided to head for the Alexander Series first thing in the morning for the Planetary Pursuit. I loved this series, all set along a barely used stretch of road and made up of all sorts of containers and hides - some easy and some fairly tricky - all of it was fun! I have missed a couple but will go back and try to finish them off later in the week. Thanks so much for this series of caches Miss-Placed!
Getting back into geocaching this morning (after a leisurely 2 year break!) prior to the remnants of Cyclone Joyce bringing rain.
Park and grab raid in the humidity. Number 6 of the Alexander Road series. Thanks for the hides MissPlaced.

TFTC Love these cache's close to home for when the geo-kids get bored and we go look for 'treasure'. Log was slightly damp which is strange seeing it hasn't rained for ages - maybe because of heavy dew.
Day 2 of our mini road trip and still in town doing some more caching. Today's plan tackle Alexander series then head to Northampton, Nabawa, and Nanson then back to Gero.
Have a few caches on my list so fingers crossed we can manage as many as possible
Turns out another warm day in town and I didn't pack my shorts
Started backwards on these ones since we came from town. A great series with a couple of DNFs due to being on time restraint for searching. Have to admit muggle is good at this
A quick find here in the logical place
*Log slightly damp

Great effort had been put into the series, well done

As we were almost into Geraldton, we decided to come in via a side road and pick up as many of this series as we could. Some we did not find in the time limit for each cache that we allowed ourselves, so we would just move on. Some had excellent camo and others were more simple. Thank you Miss-Placed for this great series, for the variety and the fun.
