A quick find with SJT_NZ while exploring some back roads and getting some fresh air. Thanks for the cache all in good order.
After a day of GSAK training with Tufty Tregearp and I were keen to get out and grab a couple of finds.
Quick and easy find, all in good order, signed log and replaced as found. Thanks holymu for the cache.

#16026. It was nearly time to head back to Brightwater to go to the event, but we had time for a few more drive-bys first. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalker on day one of our long weekend visit to Nelson.
Nice and quiet at GZ and a quick find for SW (while I was admiring the serious lichen growth at GZ). TFTC.

My man took me on a caching exploration...hitting the road between Brightwater and Wakefield...After a slow start to the year I have got my caching mojo on and am trying to hit 365 for the year! A quick park and grab...right next to the cache. TFTC
Geo cycling the GTT over 3 days, picking up caches on the way. Day 3, tapawera to stoke.quick find, surprised how busy this little road is - 1 cycle and 3 cars went past. I just pretended to be faffing with my bike
Over in Nelson visiting a cousin and thought a long way drive home would be nice.... Didn't like the caching along the main road with all the traffic around - so these side roads are good for me.
A Quick PnG for me today.

2nd stop on my way back to Chch, filling in the odd "minute hole" of S41.
Quick gind , thanks for placing this cache, Holymu.

Quick find of #47 today, and quiet on this street. I don't think I have ever seen a feature like this so covered in what appeared to be lichen. Thanks for the cache Holymu.
Day 2 of our weekend in Nelson. Today's caching target was Wakefield and Brightwater, places we were not too familiar with. All up a successful day by our standards - 26 or so found with a couple of DNFs for various reasons, but we had a good brunch out at Brightwater and got to briefly meet a CO on our travels. A few good walks and a decent amount of multis to allow us to learn more about these towns. Thanks to all COs for the caches. We will be back, hardly scratched the surface

A nice quick find while grabbing a few caches on our way out of town after the event today. Thanks for the smilie
The Seagnoid has a caching mission of two this weekend so the Team (The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I head to Brightwater, Nelson to complete his mission. After P&Gs this morning recharging Tobys battery for a couple of hours its time to explore further afield. Enjoyed Spooners Tunnel so now its Wairoa George.
A quick snag and tag on our way. Cheers

Taybeedragon and I came over last night. Something went wrong and Toby woke up this morning with a flat battery, so instead of the original plan we cached around town doing park-and-grabs, leaving Toby's engine running each time. Wel just went to the Spooner tunnel caches (awesome place) and Toby survived being switched off there, so now it is back to plan A - the Wairoa Valley. So a quick stop here along the way.
Lucky last for the day, mrs capperz has texted and is ready to be collected so one last cache before In head back to the Mall. A nice Q E F to end the day, off to Mount Fishtail tomorrow for a different days caching, lots of walking and just 2 caches on the radar there. T F T C holymu
It's been a few weeks since we came over the hill for a shopping/caching combo visit and with our in-law guests still away it was decided to head Nelson/Richmond. Usual rules applied; drop off mrs and Olivia in Nelson for a couple of hours - cache, pick up and drop off at Richmond Mall - cache. Pick up and return home. It works. I managed 7 caches on the first part and following a trip through Wairoa River Gorge and the aptly named Lee Valley I gained another 15 finds for a pleasing daily find rate of 22. Beautiful weather over this side, Blenheim had cloud all day apparently and good to see some new places; swimming holes and a chance to feed the local sandfly population some more of my blood!

Finished playing golf at Totaradale and had time on my hands before heading to the airport to pick my wife up and so an opportunity to pick up a couple of local caches. A quick find at an obvious feature. TFTC

I found this one after cycling down Wakefield way to add a few to my caching tally. This was an excellent cache. it is certaintly going to stay very dry. the bag for the log blew away though while I was signing the log. Find #187
Nice quite spot for two minutes these back country roads are certainly busy. Anyway found it and signed it ttc.
The cache name had me spotting the location quickly, retreating to the car out of the rain to sign.

Out on a maintenance run today and this was only one of two caches that we were passing that didn't need some sort of solving so we popped by and signed the log. Was wondering what we would find here - no mistaking it on approach. TFTC #9027
Heading out to bike through the tunnel for the third time but first with Kiwi Grandad. Called by here to grab this cache on the way. A number that I will resemble very closely next year.
Thanks holymu for the cache.

A quick find at my last target give me some extra time to head out to find this one. I was not sure what I would be looking for, but all became clear as I approached the GZ for another quick find.
Driving back to work, I spotted it's sibling - 46 - and my mind started wandering, wondering who decides how these sorts of things should be numbered, who keeps a record of the numbers and what do they do with that information...
Thanks though.

A slight detour on the way to the shops and a nice country drive to GZ. Ultra quick find at GZ too. TFTC, Biggles.
Not our 47th find but the first find for the day. Spotted the spot on approache for the quick find the CO intended. The item certainly was showing its age - hey maybe it is 47.
Thanks
Thanks
What are the chances of that happening? We were just approaching Wakefield from the south when this popped up. A little bit of navigation and the log was being signed. Joint FTF with Libitee. Thanks !
i don't usually check my phone much when out; but here we were on the way back from Lake Rotoiti and just as I went to check the temperature my phone buzzed - two new caches - thanks holymu. A joint FTF with Sidewaze.
Thought I might have been in for a ftf but no such luck. It was a quick easy find on a drizzly Sunday morning tftc
I had a bit of cabin fever having sat inside all day yesterday playing Bridge and it been rather wet today, so these new caches were a godsend.
The cache was still warm when I arrived as paddlechick and Nanzie had just put the cache back. A quick chat about the joys of caching and we were on our way.

Paddle chick and I duck out to get three ftfs I think a few others had the same idea .a quick stop and grab. Tftc Holymu
As we approached we realised a vehicle parked near GZ was occupied, worse than that he was literally beside it and sitting there talking on the phone, very inconsiderate. We drove past and parked up around the corner, two minutes later he drove past so back we went. Easy find, were just getting back into the car when Marchwood pulled up so had a chat before heading home. TFTC holymu
