After a recent string of DNFs I have decided to disable this one until I can get a new cache in place.
Ran out of time, could not find, this one is tough. Will return another time.
No luck for us today. Searched for along time. Even after PAF Still nothing. Could co please check
This one was pretty tricky and took me a few tries to find. Went and found the other nearby caches between attempts and finally made the find.
Clever, tricky hide. TFTC!
Official log is full. Signed the extra piece of paper recently left in the cache.

No one on the courts today, had the place to ourselves to search - or for me to snoop around while raindoctor searched...
As this was less than 200m from our car park for a function nearby we of course made our way over. We had to wait out some muggles before searching a few areas. As others have noted the log needs some attention. TFTC
Found it with the family after a bit of search. Great location, must have looked crazy walking back and forth across the area. Very small indeed ! Didn’t have a pen so wasn’t able to sign the scroll.
TFTC, a fairly quick find.
LOG ROLL IS DAMP AND FULL, NEEDS REPLACING ASAP.

Spent a good 10 mins looking but found it in the end. No need to trample any gardens! TFTC
The second of 5 caches I'm going for on the North Shore. Luckily there were no muggles making for a quick find. Cache# 347. TFTC
After our find at the Middle Head Battery cache frazeydaze and I walked back to this cache and although the coords were slightly out frazeydaze soon had CIH. On a lovely Spring day I was surprised that there was no one playing tennis on the court. TFTC decentcachers & Scram47.
The 2nd cache for today. Having found Middle Head Battery, and on our way to Convict Fort, oldmorty and I thought we'd see if we could find this cache. Having to remind ourselves that the cache was not in the garden, we searched further out from where the co-ordinates pointed. Found! TFTC decentcachers & Scram47
Previously logged under team account BoogieRogue. Re-logging with my individual account. Parked the Guzzi nearby and headed out with head torches in the dark. Saw a large black bunny hopping around in the open area towards GZ. Once at the location GPSr said 9m when we made the find. TFTC.

There was a tennis coach with a young boy at the courts, right next to GZ, I just told them what I was up, to and soldiered on for an eventual find.
On couree in sydney. Thought i would grab a couple whilst in the area.
Quick find. Love the view. Tftc

We have been here before, trying to do a decent serach. But at that time people were sitting ouside the nearby houses and they observed us closely.
Today there was a family paying tennis, three kids and two adults. They were busy doing what they did so the cache could then be found and signed.

Could be a while before I am back here, so thought I had better knock this one over. Still remembered the hint from the owner after a previous dnf so found reasonably quickly. Tftc

Three finds out of four today. Had arranged to meet another cacher for the first cache - as it requires two devices - then a long DNF as the weather closed in. Then two quick nearby finds to finish with.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Final find, still light rain falling. Decided on this one, rather than a closer one with higher T - more wet weather friendly hopefully.
Walked to GZ - OK could be anywhere. So went for the hint early... OK that narrows it down. Sort of.
But the find was very quick, using some caching logic. It was in the second spot I checked.
Took to shelter to complete signing duties, then back for the replace.
Time for home, travelling with peak hour traffic. Oh joy!

There was a couple playing tennis when we arrived, but thanks to a pulled muscle they soon left the court so we were able to search without being observed.
Easy find with the garden off limits. TFTC.

It took me a while to find it as it was getting dark (damm daylight savings and the change of the hour!!).
The tree literally drives you near it to start the search... but think more "corner-ly" and soon the cache will be in hand

Lucky there was nobody around as this took us a bit. Previous logs were right. Logically there can't be that many place where it could be. Got it. Thanks
Finally!!!!
The first time I attempted this one I ended up climbing a tree - led inexorably there by my gps... against all my instincts, that garden bashing wouldn't be involved. The second attempt - I was just standing there minding my own business and contemplating life, the universe, everything... when tennis players on the court suddenly started yelling at me to get the hell out of their line of vision... I was ruining their concentration. So I scarpered... muttering a few imprecations under my breath concerning their future serves.
Today it was raining hardishly, so I thought, rightly, that nobody in their right mind would be pottering around the tennis courts.
Got it !!!
Thank you, decentcachers for a decent cache...

Found with AF BEE while on a great geocaching vacation. Thanks for placing this cache.
We recently returned from a two week cruise to New Zealand and are spending a few days in Sydney with our son and his wife (who live in Mackay); took a couple of minutes to hone in on this one...last one of 7 for today...TFTC!
Came here one afternoon and sat through a tennis lesson but gave up when another group of Roger Federer hopefuls showed up. I like to try to find before reading hints and logs so I did needlessly follow the flattened track at the edge of the garden and agree that a note in the description might let the garden regenerate a bit. But what a sneaky little cache on a beautiful headland. Thanks decentcachers and Scram47.
When I stopped by here the first time, there was a tennis coaching session underway. I thought that it might be drawing to a close, as the coach was gathering up the hundreds of balls from the court, but I was out of luck as he started reloading them back into the tennis ball gun machine. Anyhow, after about 90 minutes I returned to find the scene clear and made a quick find. I had the shock of life afterwards as I stumbled across some guy practicing his whip cracking skills near the carpark. Really random. TFTC

Out and about on the motorbikes with a muggle friend. Free parking for motorbikes just across the road is a bonus. Unfortunately the area near GZ is getting quite trampled and I could see someone working through a nearby window so tried to be as stealthy as possible. Started off looking around the tree but then went to a more topical area. Awesome luck to find it in the first place I reached without seeing it.

Took a short detour to find this one on the way back to the car from Convict Fort. The GPS was a bit vague, but there are only so many places you can hide a cache in such a place...found it after a short search.
This place was nice and quiet at 9pm on a Sunday night. However I wss shocked to see people working on a Sunday Night in two businesses nearby. Get a life and get out caching. Anyway looked hard and could not find so read hints and once I knew what I was looking for it was easier but still well hidden. Log in good shape. TFTC decentcachers loved thhis I saw two kookaburras and two torny frogmouths on ypp of posts.

Some afternoon caching around beautiful Middle Head, with spectacular views and a lot of interesting history. On this hot summer's day there was nobody playing tennis, so without muggle activity I could carefully search the area until cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache.

Too hot for tennis today, searched for a while, read some more clues and found. TFTC
After a few visits and some help from CO finally found. Garden around big tree flattening but no need to go near the tree. Co ords are pretty spot on. TFTC.
All is good here, but I have slightly moved the cache so that you don't have to go into the garden at all to retrieve it.
Tricky little hide but not a muggle in sight. No need to go into the garden. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
2nd time lucky for this one. I ran out of light on the first visit but this evening had plenty of time.
Made a quick find after learning to avoid the garden

My third attempt at this one. I even climbed a tree. Clueless. I suck at geocaching. Others must be having some at least initial problems too. The garden near the tennis court is getting the bejaysus trampled out of it.
Would you believe that on a Friday morning there were muggles here maintaining the tennis court? What were the chances? So I left the searching for later, but alas I couldn't come up with a find even after a solid ten minute search.
Have looked for this one a couple of times now. Not enough for a dnf from a single visit but accumylatively now to say I think it needs a hint as a fair bit of damage is happening to the garden here.
On a visit over to Penguin, Bluewattle and myself managed to grab the sneaky hide before we had to rush back to base. Thanks decentcachers for the good placement and TFTC
No muggles today thank goodness. After a few minutes trying to tread carefully around GZ I gave up and PAF who was able to assist. (Although the cache seems to have migrated quite a bit from where he found it). GZ is getting very damaged from the cacher foot traffic as people explore the obvious spot nearby. I would highly recommend adding the obvious one word hint to direct traffic to the container and reinforce that treading on the garden is unnecessary. Middle Head is a top location, lets keep it that way! Cheers.
Went to find this cache two weekends ago but was muggled out by a tennis instructor and his student. No tennis this evening , but what a view!! Finding the cache was not so easy as the sun had gone down. It was not where or what I suspected, but a MAF during the week narrowed down my search area, but the cache was a bit larger than I expected. Glad to find this one and put a smiley on my map. TFTC decentcachers
No tennis and not much of a view after dark but I sure did find the cache TFTC decentcachers
Stopped off on my way home from a night shift to pick up a few caches out at Middle Head. Parked the geomobile in one of the “Pay & Display” parking lots (the one at the roundabout) but, as it was an hour before the 8am ticketing start time, I didn’t need to “Pay” or “Display” I then headed off on a mini geotour of historic Middle Head. This was my 2nd find of the morning.
After finding "Convict Fort" I backtracked along the boardwalk, and then headed up the grassed area to the tennis courts. Being nice & early on a Saturday morning the tennis courts we thankfully deserted, so I set about searching GZ for the cache. And it wasn't too long before I spotted the sneaky little micro in it's hiding place. Extracted, signed the log, and then replaced as found. Game, Set & Match! TFTC decentcachers.

Hmmm tricky little hide. Found with ADI and the georockdog. While someone practiced their serves I went on a stealthy mission, retreated to a sensible spot to sign, then returned when all clear. TFTC.

Sneaky sneaky hide. Cache and logbook are dry despite the recent rain. SL TFTH TFTC Replaced cache as found well hidden for next cacher.
Found on my second visit here. Learning valuable lessons about looking a little harder...giving that extra 10% to get that smiley. I love the area so this was another nice reason to visit. Tftc
Yep tennis with a view, almost, but it could be very very windy playing here.
This cache was quite well hidden and hunting for it could be extremely conspicuous at certain times here.

{FTF} joint with morry9 and Kid Ron Satan! I noticed a new cache had recently been published over in Mosman. I contacted morry9 and he was around, so I picked him up on the way through and we drove over to Middle Head. As we were getting close to the cache, I suspected the car directly ahead of us was Kid Ron Satan's, and as he pulled up in the car park, and we parked next to him, my suspicions were confirmed! Ain't it great to see geocaching bringing people together haha! We walked over together to the 'The Barracks' and, once at Ground Zero, we soon had the Cache In Hand. We opened up the cache to reveal a fresh log inside and confirmed we were the Joint First To Find! We performed the signing duties and returned the cache to its original hiding spot. Signed Log, Took Nothing Left Nothing. We walked back to the cars and said our goodbyes, and morry9 and I were going to grab some lunch down the road. While we were in the queue for lunch at a nearby takeaway shop, Kid Ron Satan contacted me to advise the Cache Owner had generously notified him that a couple more caches should be popping up any minute now. We grabbed our food and returned to the area, ready for the next one to be published. Sure enough, 'Be Cautious!' and 'Tennis with a View' appeared not long after and we were able to claim the First To Finds on both of these new caches! Thanks For The Caches decentcachers & Scram47, and we appreciate your generous tip off!
