Logs
When I found back in early September I noted the state of the log.Have performed maintenance and new log.
Thought it had me stumped, but then it hit me like a bolt out of the blue !!Log is full and water affected.
It's International Geocaching Day and I have planned on attending a couple of events, one in Glenelg and one in Gawler which left me all afternoon to fill in some time. The weather wasn't too good it rained on and off all day, but I was lucky that it mostly stopped when I needed to find a cache. I made a list and after the first event I started ticking off that list and made it to Gawler with time to spare and without getting really wet.Had time for one more and this was on the way. Spotted the cache quickly, the log was damp but I was able to stamp the log. Thanks for the cache dezzabills.
Team RedWolf is back after several years. This is our third find of a new era. Nice fun one!! TFTC.
quick and easy find. was looking straight at me as I approached the location. thanks for the cache
I've been feeling like caching for the entire Easter weekend, but the weather has been pretty average. So Emu and Baloo took advantage of the cooler evening and went on a mini caching spree. We started off looking in the wrong spot for this one but wandered down the street a little and soon had the cache in hand. Emu was super impressed with this cache even though it drove us a little nutz.
Over from Perth for few days to attend the Leap Day Mega. Today's plan was to head out to explore Gawler and the Barossa, with a selection of caches on the way / during the day that either piqued my interest... or I just happened to be passing by This was one that I stopped off at. A nice quick find here, parked up right by GZ so almost a cache & dash TFTC
The Booos are in Adelaide for The Great Leap Forward.A nice quick find here this afternoon Thanks dezzabills for placing this cache.
Day2 with Tankengine and Youban on our Adelaide Leap Year Mega trip. We did a good handful of caches, caught up with friends and family and all without a dnf. This cache: Was an interesting find here. Tftc!!!
I was wandering around aimlessly while Grub62 found the cache. Not really a hard find but certainly not the obvious container. TFTC.
I found this cache with The Booos while in Adelaide for the Great Leap forward Mega Event a nice quick find here today TFTC
bunadoorian and I are chasing LGA's on this trip for a challenge cache in SA. This was our 2nd LGA today. I found this cache first. TFTC and for bringing us here - dezzabills and Jem.
They say three heads are better than one but we walked around with our heads in the clouds because we read the hint wrong but after a reread we soon had the cache in hand. Kutgw
Chooo ooo [Found] with youban and dty73 on our trip to SA to attend the Leapyear mega! Thanks dezzabills!
Found by Mary and David at 10:55. Took us a liitle while to zero in on the right place. A wonderful memorial that probably only geocachers see these days. A lot of traffic passing, even on a Sunday. Only here for a couple of days staying with son-in-law and two oldest grandchildren. Our thanks to dezzabills.
Southern Autumn adventure Day 46. Mid North section of SA trip Day 17. Gawler Day 5. The plan today was to do an armload of geo-art towards Tanunda, but the day dawned wet and staying rainy. I moved up a plan and went to Angaston to check out a cache I skipped as too hard and then markets, all in the hope things would dry a little. No luck, and most of the roads were marked 'dry weather'. I did a few that were on the bitumen corners and then headed back to Gawler. It seems it was not as wet now in the Gawler area, so I did managed a few caches, but not what I had hoped for.
Back around Gawler, the rain has eased and I can do some real caching. No problems with the cache, and another interesting fact discovered.
Thanks for the cache dezzabills

Found TFTC SL with mackay_geocaching. On Holidays from Mackay Qld and travelling the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne to Adelaide and making stops along the way. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Found with alphag_25, in Adelaide today for the last full day of holidays , doing some inner city caches and a couple more slightly out of the city to get some more LGA’s. TFTC.
Found it in between a lot of muggle activity on a Saturday. Needs another log. Could only fit date. We didn't have spare on us.
I found this one after a short search. Nice container.
Log sheet is absolutely full

Last cache for the evening. A quick stop, unfortunately we weren’t able to get in to actually view the plaque but the cache was found signed and returned. TFTC!
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Out and about travelling toward Gwaler zig zagging and caching as we go. It's a little overcast today, jusr perfect for Geocaching. TFTC

A quick find on the way back to the valley after an afternoon down town. A short look around and this one was found. Cache is in good condition but logbook is extremely full. Signed where we could, however didn’t have any paper on board with us to replace the scroll. Cheers.
Find #4108 on 15 May 2022.

Log book is chockers, please replace as it would be a shame if finders can't sign this one.
I've stopped by here a few times for a quick look, with no luck.
But today I just read the hint and used the satellite view to zero in on where to search and found it with too much effort. Loads of fun.
Log fairly full.
Thanks for the cache, dezzabills & jem

It wasn’t meant to be. Looked high, looked low looked left looked right. It just wasn’t my night. Found an old magnet but that was all.
Passed here a million times and never knew this plaque existed. Thank you for bringing me here. Quick find. TFTC
Found on my way to a nearby appointment. Have visited here before but now with a few more hides under my belt, this type of container didn't escape me this time! TFTC
Thanks dezzabills for placing the cache, and Jem for maintaining it for our enjoyment. This is a cunning and tricky hide well executed. Thanks for brining me here and showing me the memorial plaque. Please put in an order for the next postal plane to have some new log paper installed, for this one is very full. This postal item is fully stamped. Found on quite a warmish day, the sun and air are beginning to bite, my caching day is almost over.
Thanks so much - this was my 2nd try and helped by my grandson we eventually found it - a lot of fun
Very sneaky luckilyhad seen this type of cache before or it would have driven us nuts. Thanx
Found the monument - thankyou and I didn't realise it was there and I've lived here forever!!
Btw - DNF the cache so will head back again

Out with some pleasant caching with hevwalker.
We were heading North to end up at the International Geocaching Day at Gawler.
Some easy parking & no muggles were seen at the nearby park.
The traffic was something else though...
Thanks to my driver I had an idea where to look & what to look for.
The location ended up being incorrect, but the coordinates had me looking in a better spot with a cache.
The log & the traffic was more difficult and my phone managed to dislodge it's self from my pocket onto the bitumen.
Phone and cachers were unhurt, thanks for the hide dezzabills & Jem

Today was Gawler Day. After doing all my chores I headed off to Gawler on the new road which makes the drive much shorter.
Had a long list of caches to tick off but a later than anticipated start coupled with some hideous hay fever meant I didn’t get as many finds as I’d hoped for. Just wasn’t having caching feels today.
I didn’t have any dnf though which was good and converted one prior frownie into a smile which was also good.
At the end of the day had some fab food at the very well patronized Geocaching day event. Not quite Seattle where I should have been today but still a fabulous event and was great to see so many fellow cachers. After tea found a final 3 caches with JJ52 and then took my pollen infested head home, still suffering the Wattle side effects the next day.
Read the hint found the cache. TFTC!

Took us longer to cross the road through all the traffic than it did to find and sign the cache!
Found with Erine14 on a geocaching day in the Gawler-Kapunda area TFTC

Nice plaque. It is in an obscure place although its next to the McDonald’s sign so I guess a lot of people might look at that and see this.
Wow... as the day went on my brain started to die ha ha.
I was looking everywhere to no avail at first then as i had exhausted all options i stood back and just had a think... a desperate call upon my limited brains yielded the unthinkable... the answer lol [:o]
I felt here, felt there then low as per instructed [hint] then i struck paydirt... Yes!

Out with Rex doing some Christmas shopping [^] and heading to Angle Vale for cherries
Decided to stop and find this cache as ages ago, I stopped here only to be told by Jem that the cache was in fact missing
Since it is currently being found[^], it was my time to try for my own smiley and thankfully cache was in hand within less time than it took to reread the plaque [^]
My only cache find for today[?][?] as tomorrow's Christmas preparations take precedent over geocaching [^]

Thought this would have been a quick find, but it took a bit longer than expected. Clever hide. TFTC
