Thank you great spot

This is a well made cache. TFTC

**20,887**Well, this was the perfect time to locate this cache with no muggles in the vicinity as they were all safely tucked up at the 19th Hole drinking their sorrows away (lamenting that missed Hole in One - a bit like the Fish that got away). TFTC

27-Jan-24
We sat and enjoyed the view here while a couple of people were teeing off, and were nice and inconspicuous while we located the likely area. A well-hidden cache here in another lovely spot. TFTC!

M25: came here last year to attempt this cache but many golfers were in sight, so I decided to skip it. Turns out I would have been looking at the wrong place. So m14 came along and after some time, figured out where it would be exactly, waited for more golfers to pass by, then went for it.Log all good and signed here. TFTC.

I tried to find this one years ago when I was a newbie and had no idea. Over the years Ive attempted it a few more times but my timing has always been off with too many muggle golfers looking at me suspiciously. Today I was running an errand nearby so decided to have another try. Luckily the light drizzle meant few golfers so conditions were perfect for a good look. Bingo, easy as when youre in the right gz and have more experience under your belt. Great camo on this one and so happy to have finally got it so fav point given. Tftc

Loved the location and the construction of the cache. Gets an FP from me. Tftc

What a pity I ran out of FP! Great hide and camo.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining.

Wat een mooie plek om een cache te verstoppen. Greetings from The Netherlands.

09-Jun-22
Took a while to interpret the hint then realised what it meant. Found the spot but the last cacher had jammed it in quite hard...hmmmm. Then the rain started to pour down so lucky there was shelter nearby. In the end I found a natural tool and gave it a good wallop and that did the trick. Tftc

22-May-22
Geocaching Sunday in G-2 land.
Unfortunately there was more golfers here at GZ than the rainbows in Auckland ....
Could not locate ...
Thanks anyway.

Very clever hiding spot. I had to take a step back to see what just wasn't quite right and then I had found it. TFTC

09-Nov-21

What a pretty little garden and nice bench. Just a shame it was pitch black and we couldn't see the view. Daddypig123 found this one whilst I was still looking backwards.

Last one of my day and a goodie to finish with. Parked across the road and came through the gap and took a seat. Great views from here of the ocean and the course and I soon spotted something of interest which I prodded, then extracted. All good here and sign and replaced as found. This is my 700th G_2 cache find, another landmark/milestone/millstone met and onwards I go, thanks for all of you efforts in our game.

A trip home from work over on the shore via Forrest Hill yet again yielded a few more finds, and a nice stroll in the winter sun. Today was one of my improvable 9-days which I intend to double-figurise when possible. Only an hours walk around the trails at the back of the golf course but still good to get some track under my boots. Thanks to all COs.

29-Jan-21
Woohoo! Finally found this one. TFTC

20-Jan-21
Had to wait for a muggle to hit his ball across the field before I could search. Didn’t grasp the hint until after finding the cache but a previous comment pointed me in the right direction. Lovely cache camo. TFTC

23-Nov-20

28-Aug-20
This one somehow I found very quickly. The clue was no use to me but as I was sitting down I saw something look out of place and gave it a nudge and there it was! TFTC!

23-Jul-20
Took the advice given, outside of hours, check (after dark), on a rainy day, check. I wasn't sure what the hint referred to until I got to GZ and then everything became clearer. Quick find after that even I didn't look in the right place to start with. I haven't yet played at this golf course. TFTC Smile

24-May-20
Hate walking round her. Usually get accosted by boomer golfers who tell me ik am a bad parent for being near a golf course

02-Feb-20
No luck for us today

02-Feb-20
Well, another one we have to DNF of G-2's caches.
It was a constant stream of golfers this early in the morning, we looked as much as we could but didn't make the find.

Was coming past this one with Helefant after the International Geocaching Day. Thought 2 pairs of eyes are probably better than 1 set lol. There were a few golfers around, so had to wait til the coast was clear. This time we nutted out the clue and after a bit of scuffling in the leaf litter, the cache revealed itself. Great camo. SL. TFTC.

17-Aug-19
Hubbie found it in between two golf parties visiting the T, Nice cache on International Geocaching Day.tftc!

10-Apr-19
Oh dear no luck here this morning, thought I would pop along and make a quick find before returning to work from an appointment. A bit "toilety" around GZ so abandoned my search.

02-Dec-18
Finally no one around today playing golf

Tricky hise but soon spotted by ROS TFTC.

01-Jul-18
Unexpected place for a cache. Thanks for the cache.

05-Jun-18
Once in the correct spot made for a quick find. Another great cache. A fav from us. After all the rain the course must be too wet for the golfer's as no one around. Log signed b&p. Find number 4341.
Thanks for the cache G-2.

13-May-18
I seem to remember coming here one time before, but never logged a DNF! Not sure why now I think about it. Perhaps I was muggled by golfing muggles... but anyway I wandered here on a nice Sunday afternoon today to try my hand at this cache. Nobody around today and so I ventured out from the bush and once I did I spotted the hint... then the cache. Very subtle G, it fits in sooo well!! I was able to take my time doing all of this and replacing as found.

25-Feb-18
Had come over this way this morning to grab the FTF on G-2's new Lavery cache and figured I might as well try and find this one too. Was still quite dark but I think that helped me this morning cos I soon had the cache in hand. Love your work, Glyn, giving this an FP.

Realised almost straight away we were in the wrong place. Adjusted our location and tried to figure out the hint. No luck at GZ so moved a short distance away to find the nicely hidden cache. And a favourite point awarded, thanks

Thanks for my 400th find

23-Jul-17
This took us a wee while to find as we initially focussed in the wrong place, and also had to be wary of a nearby golfer. Once we changed our search area thankfully Aiden spied the well hidden cache.

23-Jul-17
We initially searched in all the wrong places, and tried to hide from a 'guggle' (golfing muggle). Once she had moved on, we ventured out again to search. I spotted something of interest and on further investigation I found the cache. Another clever hide.

23-Jul-17
Out with Merlot58 and Aiden29 on the North Shore. Initially we searched in all the wrong places, and hid in the bushes from an Asian 'guggle' (golfing muggle). After she had moved on, we ventured out from the bushes to search. Another cunning G2 hide!

18-Jul-17
This find makes 20 gold coins for the Lost Treasure of Mary Hyde! Another great hide and camo G-2. You obviously put a lot of thought and work into this one. A favourite point from us. Thanks.

25-Mar-17
Out to find a couple of caches after dinner. We wondered how we would get on finding this as it is G2 and we didn't bring our good torch and the light was fading - but oh yes where else would you expect to find this one with that clue! The cache was covered in ants which were quickly despatched with a roll around of the cache on the nearby grass.

24-Jan-17
Just back from visit to Waiheke so stopped in for this one. Boy, busy round here today. Had to keep a sharp eye out and dive into the bushes. Took a while but managed to crack it in the end. Tftc

01-Jan-17
Out and about for a couple of hours of cache detection on a splendid day. What better way to get the new year off to a positive start? Anyway, this was the last stop before heading back indoors for a well deserved lunch. I parked up next to GZ and made my way around the bushes to access. Found the cache after a moments contemplation. Nice to execute a super quick find on such a well camoed hide! Cheers for the smiley!

#140. Looked in all the wrong sort of places before something caught my eye. I'd made things way too hard for myself. Really nice hide. Like it.

20-Oct-16
Very cool, found this late afternoon. Road is busy but nice and quiet on the course.

16-Oct-16
In nearby Browns Bay tonight and decided to drive the long way home to collect a few caches on the way. This one had stumped MrNZT previously, so he was pretty pleased with himself when he managed to spy this one in the dark. TFTC!

28-Aug-16
Took a few minutes to locate, thankfully the coordinates were spot on. TFTC Smile

25-Aug-16
Dodged the showers to find this one. A neat little hiding place including the clever camo. Nice one Glyn

02-Aug-16
1. Yet another cache found which wasn't on the radar when setting out for the daily cache. Poor navigating lead to this being the nearest cache. Once at GZ some head scratching after looking in the likely spots. Reverted to using hint but did't initially click as to what it meant. Brain clicked and aha now to hunt the cache down. found very quickly from there. Sneaky, All good. TFTC.

21-Jul-16
Quick find on the course I learnt to play golf at. Great hole But couldn't work out the hint! TFTC

12-Jul-16

01-Jul-16
Oh wow ! Very helpful clue thanks !
Have never been on this course before ; but have driven past it for many years ! Took me a bit longer than it should have ....Excellent hide on this thanks so much Glyn !!!!! Great job .
Probably easier at night cos no muggles !
Favourite point coming your way !!!!

29-Jun-16
We saw two new North Shore caches published about 8.15 this morning, and didn't even consider chasing the FTFs with morning rush 'hour'. But a couple of hours later they are still not logged. The weather is far too wet to work outside, but apparently perfect to visit the Opposite end of the course. So it is an easy decision to do our cache-of-the-day early, and maybe even grab an FTF or two.
We walk to GZ and as promised there is no one in sight. Using the hint, it doesn't take us long to find this cleverly hidden cache. Love it, and giving it a Favourite point.
Open the container, hoping but not expecting to find a blank logsheet. But it is! SmileSmile A very satisfying FTF on another G-2 cache. Thanks!
Kiwicouple's First To Find coin visited.
