No go for this one - GPS pointed me too close to a womans house and she sounded concerned by my poking around so decided to swiftly leave and will come back another time, maybe looking elsewhere
Thank you, a good find on a rainy long weekend walk. With Road Patroller and Pencilmonitor.
Wahoo! First found a *massive* empty sistema container before my gps had calibrated accurately, but very satisfying hiding spot once my phone caught up lol.TFTC! Almost halfway through river road series
An early start to the day to drive down to Wellington for the Matariki event on Mt Victoria. Now out to find some caches. Thanks TharnTheHalkan for the cache.
This was my final find for the traditional caches for this series. I've had a lot of fun travelling around the "River Road". Fingers crossed I've collected the correct digits to complete the final co-ords. TFTC
Whoa! It's been ages since we've come up here, the new housing is wild to see! Thanks for getting us exploring, awesome cache.
A nifty little hide in the only logical place on this part of the street. This series is giving me quite the tour of this suburb, and very enjoyable. Thank you!
Cache had been knocked onto the ground, so we put it back where we suspect it was. Full log, so photo attached. TFTC.
A bit of a stumble at #4 where I had to abandon after muggles started swarming the area. Realised I'd loaded the pocket query the same day the disable notice went out - silly me! Burbled along and quickly had this cache in hand, although the hide seems to be in a bit of Avonerable place with the ring rusted away. Said hi to the local fluffy siamese who came over to see what I was doing. TFTC
Yuuus finally found it
Genuinely embarrassed with how long this one took
Turns out it's all about perspective...

Couldn’t find this one, searched high and low but may have just missed it. Will have to come back
Guttered we spent a while looking a and rummaging through holes. Probably did more climbing than needed, will come back some point soon
2nd time lucky.... and now we've seen it... how did we miss it? Where we looked before... just needed to open our eyes a bit more. TFTC
Collecting some hides near Island Bay during on Matariki Day in Wellington between two Celebration Events in town.
Found it after good search. As per hint. All good here.

Stuck my fingers into far too many grimy holes before getting icked out and giving up lol
Today was a great day to get out. Unfortunately neither Mycro Man nor Ezratar wanted to join me today so took the opportunity to scour up the roadside caches they don't particularly enjoy. Pretty sure this road is a private road according to the sign at the beginning of the road but walked up here and searched the logical places first. After nothing searched some more spots a little lower down and found a cache hanging there. All in good condition. T4TC
Visiting Grandma in Island Bay for Xmas and time for a quick cache afterwards and before the next part of the day's activities. Located the cache quickly but retrieval took a bit longer as it was pushed well into its hiding spot. Eventually got it after going back to the car to get retrieval tool. Have added a small piece of wire to the end so should be easier for the next finder (hope that's ok?). Couldn't read the code needed for the series. Seasons greetings and TFTC!
Yay. My pocket computer seems to have stopped being uppity and stopped demanding I find 4 or 5 caches a day. In fact, today it has not asked for any. In fact in fact, it says I should specifically *not* find a lab cache! So today Not of my calendar based project require anything. I have a day off! Woohoo!
Not really. Still have a streak so I still need to find just one cache. And as I am leaving Island Bay for Petone in the next few days, it may as well be one of the last few of this excellent River series. So I stopped here on the way to work. It's dark, heavy clouds (it had just stopped raining), but the cache was an easy find with a torch. The code is almost impossible to read - maybe printed on an insert in the cap would be better. But I have already found the final, so I didn't need the code here.
I don't generally give favourites for micros, but it is an excellent series concept, excellent writeups, and the CO does prompt maintenance, so I've put a fav for the series here. Many thanks to the CO for your work here

Find number 7 - located on a work trip to island bay. Fun little spot - took me a while but obvious once you see it!
Came back during the day and found it no problem. Needed some makeshift monkey tools to help us out

Had a look around with a torch this evening but no luck. Might need to try again in daylight
Thanks TharnTheHalkan for placing this cache
It was another beautiful day for caching in Island Bay after visiting Wellington Hospital.
Great to see this one spot this one in a quiet place and and not overlooked by muggles.
At first I accidentally pushed the cache back too far and had to use an extractor to retrieve it...
I added a little twig to try and prevent that happening to the next person.
Thanks for the fun series!

Thanks TharntheHalkan nice little spot. Having another go at this series on a sunny Sundary arvo prior to another engagement in Island Bay. Good reason to come over early and explore.
This one was trickier than some of the others in the series but glad that I found it.
I got a bit lazy and drove to this one after walking to several caches several blocks away. Parking wasn't too far away so just a short walk to GZ. It's a pretty secluded area which is unusual for this series and it was just as well because I didn't find it particularly quickly. Eventually I spied it lying on the ground . After signing I returned it as per the hint. TFTC.
TFTC Easy find, the hanging wire needs replacing as it is broken, but have returned to it's hiding spot.
TwigNZ suggested a caching roadtrip to Wellington with Mar1sa, which sounded like an excellent day out of the house! - a novel idea considering that I'm still Working from Home...
The downside of this plan is that the first cache was 2+hrs from home which meant a much earlier start than I am otherwise used to.
We had an excellent trip, and Wellington really turned on the sunshine for us - Twig's "solar panel" definitely got some exposure
Log was signed as Team MET (or just MET depending on log space) for Mar1sa, EtherLord and TwigNZ.

My day started at at 5.15am with a goal of caching down in wellington with Twignz and Etherlord Clan, the weather was amazing and we ended up with a few finds under our belt finished the day around 9pm and the shower and bed never felt so good as it did that night.
thanks for placing the caches and bringing us to the locations we visited. - sorry about the copy and paste logs

What a fantastic day to be out and about in the Capital (read Target-rich environment lol!) with a couple of great geo-friends. You just can't beat Wellington on a good day, and this certainly was one. Note to self: Time to start wearing caps again!
Part of our discussion on our journey down was centered around what our joint logging name would be for today, with the final choice being Team M.E.T (or sometimes just MET depending on log space) for Mar1sa, Etherlord and TwigNZ.
The River Road Series was actually the reason we chose to spend the day in and around Island Bay. By the time we headed off home we would have found all bar 1 of them as part of our 40+ haul for today. Once I had found somewhere near to park, we were taken straight to the hide location and there found the cache quickly thanks to the Hint. With the log quickly signed, the whole thing was replaced as found before heading off to the next location.

This was really hard to find. Fully props go to KingiTuhoe for the find. I was more just hanging around. TFTC
Tricky find, was deceived by the previous caches but found it in the end. 5 down!
Second time lucky! Found easily thanks to cache owner hint. Now have 14 of the River Roads series of 15. Fun find on a Friday evening. TFTC.
Found most likely hiding place but didn't find. Suspect this one has been muggled or fallen out and rolled away.
Another one ticked off for the River Roads series. A nice quick find on a still afternoon. TFTC!
I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #682.
A quick park and grab - a quiet street on a Sunday evening. Popped log into a plastic bag, lid broken and will need replacing to keep the water out on rainy days. TFTC.
Found with 13yo and 5yo. A bit confused as we found 2 caches here. One matching the hint and another that was a bit fiddly to retrieve. I signed both just in case! TFTC
Back here today with supercachers Freddie and Toby to help.
Found it where I didn't expect.
Then we found another one very close to it.!
Signed both as didn't know which was current one.
So please could CO maybe remove one to avoid confusion !!!!!
Cheers.

Found but couldn't extract, spend ages trying. Bring big tweezers or very small nose pliers. Very hard to get out.
Couldn't find this...but was short of time to hunt which didn't help.
Will be back on another visit...
Will be back on another visit...
Found safe and sound. Lots of construction going on at Erskine but all clear at GZ. TFTC.
I departed Seattle on the evening of Tuesday July 2 to begin an eight day adventure in both Australia and New Zealand. I flew to Los Angeles and then on to Sydney landing early on Thursday morning. I am here for the OZGeomuster 2019 "The Gong" Mega event down in Wollongong as a Lackey geocaching ambassador. I will be spending the next four and a half days down in the Wollongong area, geocaching with a lot of the locals. Then I will return to Sydney and fly over "the Ditch" to Wellington where I will spend two days before returning to Sydney for the long flight back to the "States" and finally home to Seattle.
Day six of my eight day adventure and I arrived in Wellington late last night I will be hear for just under two days. My goal is to find the oldest cache in New Zealand, host an event to meet some local geocachers and explore the Wellington area via geocaching. Before I planned this side trip I reached out to a local cacher RogerW1nz to see if he would be willing to take me out to find GC46. He was willing to pick me up at my hotel and drive me around the Wellington area to find some caches.
This morning RogerW1nz picked me up from my hotel and we drove out to find GC46. On the way to GC46 we stopped to find a solved puzzle for a challenge I was working on. On the way back to the Wellington Central Business District to host my event we stopped to find another cache. After the event we met up with RogerW1nz's wife we headed off for lunch and grabbed the Mount Victoria Virtual on the way. After a nice lunch we headed off to find a few more caches after dropping off his wife. This was a quick and easy find after a short walk from the car park. I signed the log book and then replaced the cache before we continued on our way. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for me to find.
