Nice park and grab, great easy hint. However inside of cache is wet and log is almost unable to be written on. Will need CO attention.
Needs a new log book as is quite mushy but cheers, getting there for number #16!!
A nice quick find before visiting Grandma in Island Bay. I thought this was the first one of the series I'd visited but after checking I discovered it's actually my second one (although the first one I found didn't have a code in it when I visited). So I've noted the code for this one although it will probably take a very long time for me to complete the series. The logsheet is nice and dry inside the cache. Found a cute little library in a fridge nearby. TFTC
Another great find of a lovely little cache with some super cute friends inside. Thanks for the cache!
A quick park and grab after seeing a local movie. Perfect for my daily streak challenge. Found as per hint although mobile didn't like the overhead powerlines. TFTC
Buoyed by my find of #5 (#4's DNF really disrupted my flow) I was not long into my search for this one before the caching gods showed a little Mercey and put the container in my hand. Bus came past as I was signing but it seemed to be taking the rapids and paid no attention to me. TFTC
#6 with its_smitchell. Time for some ice cream, but we'll be back for more in the RR series.
Part 6 with c_storm.
Log is very wet and falling apart.
Also not hidden very well.

With a few minutes to burn before the bus comes, I made another find. I'm only one shy of 500 Kiwi finds. TFTC
A little drive around the bays this morning, a quick park and grab while just a short shower, tftc TharnTheHalkan
Drove down to Wellington to find some caches before attending Matariki Public Holiday Celebration event. Thanks TharnTheHalkan for the cache.
Heading off to my 9k find.
Collecting some hides near Island Bay during on Matariki Day in Wellington between two Celebration Events in town.
Clearly visible from a distance.

Last in my one hour search. Found it directly. Nice that previous cacher had provided a new plastic bag and log sheet which were lovely and dry. Thanks for setting these caches out, as looking for these first 6 filled in my spare hour in a different part of the city.
Today was a great day to get out. Unfortunately neither Mycro Man nor Ezratar wanted to join me today so took the opportunity to scour up the roadside caches they don't particularly enjoy. Quick and easy find, but the log is completely soggy. Just managed to scrawl my initials on it. Needs maintenance. T4TC
Quick find here, half full of water, can still write on log though. Code is barely readable, we may not have Ben determined it correctly.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Pretty sure I found the right spot - but heaving with muggles so after some snooping I decided to leave it press on
When doing aaaa streak the worst thing I can do is go geocaching. JUst one a day - any more than that may compromise the streak later. Actually, no, the worst is to cache locally. But today is a weekend so I can stretch out further away, and more importanly I will be leaving Island bay in a few days, so I can cache locally.
So I headed up the hill withthe dog in tow to Scott's lookout but alas that one was missing, so Ash and I came back down to this one.Wow. Much larger than expected, I wish I had some path tags on me. and some trackables. Alas not (after all, I was not intending to get this one anyway).
And then, walked back home. Another day of the streak done, only about 70 days to go...

Great find. Thanks very much for this series of caches. Interesting to learn of all the rivers and a great area to explore on the bike.
Thanks TharnTheHalkan for placing this cache
It was nice and quiet after dark tonight... maybe I'll walk to a few more in the series!

Had to wait a little bit but retrieved no problem. Lid with number was a little wet and tearing slightly. TFTC.
My daughter found this one. I was standing right next to it. I was leaning over the post and didn’t see it hahaha.
Found it with KiwiSan, we looked over a year ago and didn’t see it. Glad to find it this time. Thanks for the cache!
A short period of weird muggle behaviour meant loitering for a while until the coast was clear. After misreading the hint and not seeing the thing I though I read I sorted out the comprehension issue then found the cache in a place I should have looked using cache sense alone. A convenient seat near this one made signing easier than most. More muggle issues before I could return the cache then off again. TFTC.
Had tea before seeing a movie at the Empire Cinema and Eatery. Had enough time to spare to walk up to this cache. The longest part of this search was waiting for muggles in cars and foot to pass by. Tftc
TwigNZ suggested a caching roadtrip to Wellington with Mar1sa, which sounded like an excellent day out of the house! - a novel idea considering that I'm still Working from Home...
The downside of this plan is that the first cache was 2+hrs from home which meant a much earlier start than I am otherwise used to.
We had an excellent trip, and Wellington really turned on the sunshine for us - Twig's "solar panel" definitely got some exposure
Log was signed as Team MET (or just MET depending on log space) for Mar1sa, EtherLord and TwigNZ.

My day started at at 5.15am with a goal of caching down in wellington with Twignz and Etherlord Clan, the weather was amazing and we ended up with a few finds under our belt finished the day around 9pm and the shower and bed never felt so good as it did that night.
thanks for placing the caches and bringing us to the locations we visited. - sorry about the copy and paste logs

What a fantastic day to be out and about in the Capital (read Target-rich environment lol!) with a couple of great geo-friends. You just can't beat Wellington on a good day, and this certainly was one. Note to self: Time to start wearing caps again!
Part of our discussion on our journey down was centered around what our joint logging name would be for today, with the final choice being Team M.E.T (or sometimes just MET depending on log space) for Mar1sa, Etherlord and TwigNZ.
The River Road Series was actually the reason we chose to spend the day in and around Island Bay. By the time we headed off home we would have found all bar 1 of them as part of our 40+ haul for today. Once I had found somewhere near to park, we were taken straight to the hide location and there found the cache quickly thanks to the Hint. With the log quickly signed, the whole thing was replaced as found before heading off to the next location.

After finding another one in this series close by I turned my attention to this one. A nice straightforward find here thanks. The cache is holding up well and is back in it's spot all ready for the next finder. TFTC
Easy find with @peadub bringing my total cache find to 99! Getting dark so will have to wait until another day for my 100th find. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
