7 October 2024 5:04 pmCaching buddy: Yin~YangWell hidden! Awesome cache xxxThank you Yin~Yang for placing and maintaining this cache. I've enjoyed finding it. Tftc ??
Now living interstate it has become to hard to maintain so I have collected it and will relocate.
Still pulling the leaves out of my hair but FOUND while doing some birthday caching with my darling geoBF. Left a trackable, hoping someone grabs it on the way to the airport soon. TFTC
Great hide but took a while to get it as the foliage is starting to take over. Geo Birthday GF left a trackable looking for a new home.
Under Pressure is officially Invisible Ninjas 1000th find!!! That alone wins this cache a favourite point for prosperity, but I deliberately targeted this one for its high FP count. I circled GZ for a while, looking for the intended entry point. Once located, it was a quick find but not a quick sign I spent at least 10 minutes cutting up my index finger before realising that IT UNSCREWS IN THE MIDDLE I apologise for the log pages that I managed to rip out in the process. WOO!!! 1000!!!
My first bush bash and I was covered in ants. I then found the geo-tunnel.I cut my finger trying to extract the log. I also added some waterproof paper too.Clever but probably needs a prune and a check upYin~Yang, I found No Pressure today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Whereas a previous cache hunt was delegated to the taller member of the team, this hunt was certainly for the shorter member. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of an object that is consistent with the cache name but only contained a stash note that had been signed by a small number of cachers. We too signed this "log". We could not locate the separate logbook. It is most likely that there has been extensive vegetation growth since the cache was placed - it is certainly hard to access now. The cache really needs a CO visit to check the completeness of the cache. Thanks Yin-Yang for a challenging cache hide.
Well, that was fun! Im definitely too old for this shit. I started walking around Glenelg. How am I still walking and practically at the Adelaide airport? I must be insane.Anyway, I enjoyed the challenge, and glad I didnt give up.
Was dark as I arrived here and took a while to find the inpoint to GZ after circuiting options. All good and signed in. A nice idea here though looks to be some damage to the end of the host (bits of red falling off)Had a late finish yesterday with some passenger ferrying late yesterday, and an early call for wheels this morning awake at 0415 and on the road to the airport an hour later. Took the chance, and a small hand-torch, to make some pre-dawn finds and have breakfast in Glenelg before a trip to Brighton, then back via Henley Beach. Another scorcher of a day and some great sights and sites visited. 3 X Earthcache, 3 x Wherigo (PGc badge upgrade), and a swagful of Ad Lab stages. Looks like I might surpass 17k finds whilst here! Cheers to the COs (and other lettuce types)
Geoturtle37, OzHockeyChick, RoamingHowie and myself are out picking up some selected caches before we all have to go our separate ways.We were heading to the airport to drop off one of the group but took the time to find a few more before departure time. GT37 spotted this one and did the retrieval. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
Not so sure about no pressure. The knees aren't keen on the pressure that was placed on them. Thanks for placing the cache for all to enjoy.
Adelaide day four: Teamed up with RoamingHowie, Papi4506 & Geoturtle37 to find some caches of interest. A few last minute caches as we approach my take-off time. It was GT37 who got down on all fours and did the honours of reaching and signing this one. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Yin~Yang ~~
Day #12 Leaping Forward AdventuresOne last day of local adventures with OzHockeyChick, GeoTurtle37 and Papi4506. Exploring targeted caches, favourites, D/T and others. This one was certainly a challenge and took the smaller of our crew to access it. Grrrr. We got there in the end and added our names to the log. Thanks Yin~Yang for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. The [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour Event - GCAFQ8B](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) is on 18 February 2024.Looking for caches to find when visiting Victoria? Why not check out the geocaching lists available on the [Geocaching Victoria Website](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists/). I teamed up with the deaf cat and pwala to find this one. It was a scramble to find it however the cache container was quite unique
Found while staying in Adelaide for The Great Leap Forward event. Yin~Yang, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.
Found in our group of six Queenslanders unsupervised in Radelaide mega'ing. It's Leap Day which is a lot more exciting than Christmas! And we are finding a whole variety of caches today. All logs signed or stamped as SQUIRM. Thanks for the cache Yin~Yang

Today I met up with some old and some new friends who were visiting for the Leap Day Mega. We had no set plans for the day, just to cache and try to stay out the sun - well we achieved one of these things at least.Thank you Yin-Yang for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find today.
Reperio 13:54After arriving in Adelaide yesterday for the upcoming Leap Year Mega event, I met up with Ahomburg, Becknmonts, Earthbound Chief, and Team Crumble to grab a few caches around town. With many eyes on the job, this one was soon found.Gratias Yin~YangAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

TFTC Yin~Yang your cache No Pressure that we found today. Day 3 at West Beach where we are camped in the lead up to the Great Leap Forward mega on the 29th of Feb. After attending the event this morning we returned back to camp. A short discussion saw DiMorgan, Wollaston and ourselves combine forces to cache our way to town to attempt the two web cams that were available. We cached a variety of puzzles, multis, virtual and traditional caches.Great day that resulted in 45 finds for the day (including several ALs)Find Count: 18486

Oops, almost forgot to log this one. Very clever hide, almost missed it. TFTC Yin-Yang
As the last cacher to log this cache here prior to SoulOracle, I can confirm I did not 'shove' the logbook too far into the cache. In addition, I put Niblet (TB9Q2ZP) inside the logbook and then in the plastic bag as to ensure all contents and little Niblet would be found safely and easily.
The CO has kindly been in touch with me since and it appears the cache is possibly not being opened correctly, which may be why others have had issues Nonetheless, I might make a trip to GZ just to make sure little Niblet is still there and maybe take him on another adventure, if he's not retrieved beforehand

I did find it but couldn't get to the log book. I think the last person may have shoved it too far into the holder. I do have a pic of me with, but don't want to spoil it for others
Clocking up cache finds for the May Wheel of Challenges, and boy am I glad to have list on the list of finds!
I found GZ quite quickly and thought that can't be it, turned back to go hunt elsewhere before thinking about the name of the cache, what the description says and the fact PineappleGoldy had difficulty getting to it Within mere seconds I was back at GZ and sure enough it was the cache!
Definitely deserves a !

CO maintenance required. Lid is broken and inside is exposed to the elements. Have sent a message to the CO with an image, as to not spoiler the cache design for others!

Holidays are a low pressure time. At the start anyway, before I have to think about work again. And this is the start, so I was in the right frame of mind to make this find. Thanks yin yang for the clever camo.
Found this one with Pie_mom. She had much sharper spying eyes than me. Great camo, a favourite from me.
I had a 5 hour stopover in Adelaide on my way from Melbourne to Whyalla so I decided to go a-wandering. After a walk in the SA heat I was at the GZ. I was expecting a long search however was lucky to make a quick find. TNLN. TFTC.
After the CITO, and a short walk and a bit of a search, the sneaky little hide was in hand. Stamped and away all good. Thanks for the great little hide
A peaceful walk along the path before heading home to the peace and quiet of my home, now that my interstate visitors have flown away.

6 hours in Adelaide, what else to do but check my suitcase in to a locker and go caching?
This was my first physical cache of the day and it set the standard for hides to follow. In my opinion this one deserves more FPs even if the bush is a bit dense.

Out for a few caches after work to celebrate Friday.
The terrain rating became clear before I attempted.
As a very tall person it was not an easy challenge.
Persistence paid off and I reached the cache with no major setbacks.
Put my signature in the log book and returned to the cache to its hiding spot.
Thanks to Yin~Yang for this cache.

Well that explains the higher T rating.
I am still cleaning foliage out of my hair and clothes.
PrezDough and I found this great little container safely hidden away and we soon had our names in the cache.
That also explains the cache name.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 5 TB.

I went out for a bike ride with the intention of stopping along the way to look for a few caches. This was my first stop along the way. It took a little bit of time to work out the best approach here but once I did I soon spotted this nicely constructed cache. I do like ones that are a little different! All in good condition here. Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 18. With the side trip to Loxton over, I was spending another week in Adelaide. I had a half day spare, so decided to go back to Glenelg to finish the LABs I did not get to before Christmas and fit in as many other caches I could. I ended up the day with the Planespotting LABs and then the real challenge, working out GZ.
I thought the outer container was very fitting. I like to see things like this.
Thanks for the cache Yin~Yang

Our first full day in the city of Adelaide, grabbed this cache on route to another cache
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Early in 2021 I received an invite from GoosenEgg and Stainless Steel Rat to join them on a caching trip to the Mega in South Australia. As planning got underway some caches with high Favorite points, very old caches, and the On Your Bike Series were listed as "must-dos"
The trip ended up being 10 days of solid and very enjoyable caching with quite a few highlights. The find count for the trip was around the 950 mark when all GCA, Adventure Lab, and GC caches are included. The high point for finds was a day of 335 finds in the one day, which would have been more, but a sudden storm put the end to caching for the day. No one was interested in getting out of the car to find a cache in a downpour in the dark
We were lucky enough to find Gawler Fort Knox, Dustin's Cache, and my favorite for the trip Barossa High (From 21st of January 2001 with the original log book still in place) all in the one day.
Unfortunately, the caching around the mega was beset by bad weather and the day we had put aside for Mount Gambier was scrapped due to a covid case in Mount Gambier on the previous day, so we avoided the area. We all enjoyed the Fishing series and just managed to get the remaining of these before the light failed for the day.
In the end I managed to completed my D/T grid for the first (and possibly the second time) which was my aim for the year, although some of the D/T combinations were not really achievable in Tasmania without a 3 day overnight bush walk.

The Millicent Mega trip had been a long time in the making, for the Tassie trio of stainless steel rat, budgietas and gooseandegg, due to a couple of false starts thanks to COVID19. More and more caches were added to the extensive list as planning was being finalized. We focused on old caches, large caches, certain D/Ts, virtual caches, the On your Bike series and a few other special ones on our journey. Our route saw us caching in Adelaide for a few days before heading north via Gawler to the Barossa in preparation for the On your Bike series, whilst basing ourselves at a gorgeous cottage in Waikerie. We continued on to Renmark for a night before the long trek south to Millicent.
Some of the many highlights along the way were Gawler Fort Knox, Dustin’s Cache, Barossa High and Riverland (the oldest surviving geocache in South Australia).
At the Mega we caught up with a few of our caching friends, made some new ones, and of course missed many who could not make it this time. The weather was not the best in Millicent, and a COVID19 situation in Mt Gambier altered our plans but we had plenty of caches to keep us busy between showers, including tree climbs, plenty of adventure labs, and the entertaining Finding a Fish series - giving the new pole a good workout for the first time.
Thanks to all the CO’s who have placed and maintained all these caches that made our adventure so memorable.
Thanks Yin~Yang

This was a quick add as it sounded interesting and we were able to make it a quick find,.
Even with the numbers being down it was great to attend a Mega and at least get to meet some fellow cachers after so long and catch up with a few people, we flew over from Tassie on Thursday and after spending a few days in Adelaide we headed Northeast to clean up some series and then head South to Millicent for the start of the Mega long weekend.
This trip has changed so many times since it was first booked and I'm glad we got to do it at long last, to start with it was just myself and GooseandEgg nipping over for the Mega and then it was a few more days with the addition of 1 toolman, then with lockdown it was back to two of us but then another Tassie cacher in the shape of BudgieTas stepped up to the plate and we were back on for an over a week trip to grab a few caches before the Mega and then finish off with Millicent before flying home on the Tuesday.
Thanks for the cache.

Maybe some pressure at some point in time. Wasn't feeling the pressure today. TFTC
The pressure was too low... or maybe too high for us tonight and we weren't able to come up with the cache. Another time, another visit! Thanks DJ
I’ve just had a tough night shift in Canberra, a complicated commute, and as I land it is 38° and about to rain. I just need one cache to keep the streak alive. No pressure! I chose this one, look how close it is to the airport. Not my best decision today, awkward to get to, I wasn’t wearing geopants, and I ended drenched in sweat. But I got my find for the day, and I love a creative cache, so thanks YinYang, yet another FP for you.
Got to love a public holiday. There was little movement around the house so decided to jump in the car and find a few of the church/used to be a church micros that have sprung up near the coast (as well as a few trads on the way home. While there were plenty of people wearing Lycra or waking dogs near the beach, this location was pretty quiet. Great well constructed hide. FP from me. TFTC
Apologies... I'm catching up on my late logging.
I spent Australia Day out caching with locus cache and earthlight and this is one they stopped at for me to find.
A very cool cache, I like these types of in your face hides... except it's become very over grown here and had to push my way into the bush. Another FP coming your way

My caching goals for 2020. May as well aim high.
Complete the Calendar to have found both a mystery and a multicache on every day. Should be able to do one probably not both. [^]
After filling the calendar to have a minimum of 5 caches per day last year, let's try for 11 this year. Possible but not probable.
So today I just needed to find three caches including a multi cache.
Luckily the Adelaide 36ers had a home game so after the disappointment of yet another home loss I headed out to try and find some caches to feel better. I had driven past this one so many time it was overdue time for me to stop, park and go for a stroll. Mmmmm In there. [?] Okay under I went and there was only one thing it could be...it was. Very clever. FP from me.
***Thanks Yin~Yang for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
