After not reading the map well enough - bunadoorian and I enjoyed the walk from the carpark to here. I loved the cache guardian! Thank you for bringing us here to this park that we have driven past on numerous occasions - tassieexpat.
Grub62 and I took a while to find the obvious. Then a while to extract the logbook. A very pleasant area. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.
Only had limited time for this find, saw lots of bullants, then a snake so I was out of there!
Squeezing in a few more caches before the year ends. The slightly battered cache didn't hear me coming..
On the way done to Inverloch for a couple of days we stopped of to check out these places that we normally drive by. Loved out walk through this green space. Nice easy find. Thanks tassieexpat for the cache.
Why oh why did I leave kit in car knowing micros were on the go? All good though. Cache has been loved a bit by native animals so resurrected as best I could. It was out in the open.

Off on an early morning geocaching run enjoying the public holiday to enjoy the life of the wonderful Queen Elizabeth. Glad I left early as heading back to Koo Wee Rup at 10.30 am, there are Thousands and Thousands of cars heading down to Phillip Island and the Bass Coast.
I had seen a few rabbits about and getting near GZ, I followed one right to the hide.
Thanks for the cache Tassie Expat

Out and about today enjoying some walking tracks that we’ve not explored before. These tracks were less muddy than we expected today and it was great to get some sunshine too. Thanks for the clever mossy hide.
Enjoying a beautiful day of Winter sunshine we decided to go out and grab a few caches. We hopped along like Peter Rabbit until we found this cache. Unfortunately we could not sign as Geohusband seems to have lost the pen on the walk in. This one was a quick grab. TFTC

*Cache find # 11940.*
Today I head to Phillip Island to do something that we haven’t been able to do for sometime now, which was to attend a CITO event but of course I had to make a day of it by finding caches before and after the event.
This one was the first find for the day, at first I was looking a bit West of the cache but eventually I moved to the right location and the cache was found.
**Thanks to tassieexpat for placing this cache.**

Super quick find, GPS was super accurate. Very cute little hide. Didn’t have a pen on me (as usual ) TFTC -Raymond
Pleased to be able to add this smile as it helps me out with a challenge I am working on. Loved the title. Thanks for placing this cache.
It wasn't until we found this cache that we understood the title. Love it. The cache was quickly located although the log took a little longer to retrieve. Thanks for the cache.
A chilly early morning followed by a lovely day of exploring Sth Gippsland with MrsPapi4506 & RoamingHowie, targetting LGAs, solved puzzles & good DTs.
Found quickly and log extracted not so quickly. Love the title!
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, tassieexpat

The sun was forecast to shine today so we decided to head out South East to explore some uncached territory and maybe climb some trees as well.
The machine was green but not that mean. Almost needed one of the tools from the field puzzle for this one.
Thanks tassieexpat for the cache.

TFTC tassieexpat. Nicely placed. Alas the very small log was saturated and could not write on it. Dried as best we could and replaced with an extra bit of log,
Which we signed. Jimmytherat with Noelle04

Another nice hide, alas what is left of the log is saturated! Have put a piece of paper in but needs some TLC as lid is squashed. Found with Jimmytherat TFTC
With my leave ticking down I had one more day of freedom to go slightly further afield and do some walking and caching. Having driven past here so many times, I decided to make this my first stop and look for the cluster of caches.
This was the first cache I looked for and not what I was expecting! Found easy enough though the log was very soggy here. TFTC tassieexpat

Apologies TassieExpat, late log, I overlooked this one in the rush of getting ready to go to your homeland!
Was in the area for few hours while waiting for a family member - a cache or two soon helped pass the time.
A good hide, as expected from you!

Out on a day out caching with Brainiac03 on New Years Day on our way down to a community celebration event later that day. With our main target on this slightly warm and somewhat lacking of rain day.
After finishing the AUSLAN series and with plenty of time to fill before the event and no real concrete plan for targets we seemed to wander around the area slowly making our way down the the event.
Thanks for the cache and the adventure.

The weather was looking good , with restrictions lifted in regional Vic I headed to Corinella via the Gurdies armed with My mask and Sanitizer, I had a great day exploring the region. There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area. this is one of the caches I found today. Made Me laugh when i found this one.
Thanks tassieexpat for the cache.
Thanks tassieexpat for the cache.
We took the geokids and dog out for a walk yesterday around the Gurdies Flora and Fauna Reserve. It was a bonus that there were some fun geocaches to find along the way.
This one gave us all a good laugh!!

Out for some caching around The Gurdies today and we found this one along the way.
Initially, we found ourselves looking around the wrong spots but after reevaluating our search tactics in association with the hint, I walked right up to gz and spied something out of place that revealed the cache underneath.
Very cool container that fits right into its hiding spot and the surrounding environment.

Heading to join a group of friends in Grantville after spending a delightful evening with a muggle friend. Thankfully the smoky atmosphere that has blanketed this area over the last few days has dissipated making outside activity safer. This gave me the opportunity to explore The Gurdies Nature Conservation Reserve and find some caches while there Had a laugh here as I connected the cache title TFTC tassieexpat
Easy find on New year's Day. Had a bit of a laugh at the container. Thanks for the cache tassieexpat.
Had a good old laugh when I saw this cache, but now as I sign the log and I finally actually look at the cache title (GPS problems/internet reliability, etc...) that I get a real laugh.
Very cute!

A nice day caching with my friend BonnyBlack .He had no trouble spotting this one . Thanks tassieexpat .
For some time now I have zoomed past on the nearby Bass Highway and thought 'I really should get those caches in The Gurdies one day'. Had a rare free weekday afternoon so managed to head down here and try these out at last. A lovely walk and a great series of caches. After a satisfying find at the mystery cache I carried on to this one. Made the find quickly enough but as the last finder noted there was no log to be found in situ. I cut a small scrap of paper from one of the other caches nearby and popped back to leave a signed record here. Couldn't do much more today but at least this will tide it over for another 5 or 6 finders until the CO can replace. My second find of nine for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series in a great location tassieexpat.
We headed down to Granville for lunch and then decided on a walk after. This park with its collection of caches seemed perfect.
Thanks for giving us a reason to go for a walk.

17/11/2018 - 5.48pm - Find No. 991 - 1st of 4 finds for the day - with Non-Geo son. We decided we needed a little bit of stress relief on our way back from visiting very sick littlest (3 1/2 year old) non-geo granddaughter/non-geo daughter who had just had an operation to try & help with her pneumonia on her third day in hospital Poor little thing got so sick so quickly & took some time nearly 2 weeks to be well enough to be discharged (this log is being done 27/11/2018 a few hours after she was released to go to RMcD house to see how she manages with the potential of coming home for further convalescence maybe as soon as tomorrow). Came very close to losing her A bit of a cough turned into something nasty very, very quickly!
Anyways ... we did a little Pokemon/Ingress stuff as we headed back from Clayton & I reminded NGS that I still hadn't had a chance to collect any caches for this months souvenir. I suggested we stop here to collect some I hadn't managed to get & it was also a site for his pursuits sneaky me. I also wanted to check if dgfb33 would be able to manage these ... not a hope if he is in his electric wheelchair. So ... along we walked on the balmy evening to the first hide. My finder gave a rough but not really close location for a start but close enough for us to both do a bit of scouting & with the name in mind NGS made the find while I was a short distance away. Cache was retrieved, log signed, cache posed for a photo or 2 & all was returned as found. Thanks for the hunt & for getting us back out into this nice piece of bush (if you can ignore the traffic noise for those caches closer to the highway).

Very clever cache. Laughed when lozloz93 and I found it. Be wary of spiders with this cache
WeRAmused and I enjoyed a nice walk around the park collecting the variety of caches here. We really enjoyed ourselves and the challenges presented by this well thought out series. Very cute. TFTC FP

Had time for one cache on the way down to Phillip is as I needed a car stop and geodog needed a quick break. Went looking for this one in the dark via moonlight and . Coordinates not too bad. There was only one cache. I thought we might find hundreds of these in the area. (Ha) thanks tassieexpat for the cache. Thought about some others here but but challenging at night. Also have another reason to stop in the future in this quaint park.
Green - yes. Breeding machine - definitely. Mean - not at all. What was mean was the blood sucking parasites attacking us - the natural ememies of us snugglebunnies. Thanks tassieexpat for a cute cache.
Found by Mary & David, in company with pprass, at 1440. Still a few drops of rain, but we pressed on. Found the green machine after a brief search. Signed as mmob in the limited space. Our thanks to tassieexpat.
Found at 2:36 PM GAFF1 in the company of maccamob.
A green one! Didn't know that they came in that colour
This cache gave rise to a discussion about container size. Is this a micro/nano, or is it a regular? Well I believe that it is a regular as that is the overall container that has been constructed.
Thanks tassieexpat.

After a long lay off from our hobby we decided that today was too good to pass up & was The Day for our reintroduction. We thank the CO's tassieepat, BorisB&Natasha, & Gonefishen07 for a fun, interesting and rewarding day. We set out to find 12 caches & were completely successful. All caches found were in excellent condition. Several were worthy of adding to our Fav list.
I was out today with Biggles Bear for our monthly caching adventure. It was an ideal day for caching with sun and a cool breeze. Nice quick find.
Thanks for the cache, tassieexpat.

Another great container. Family agreed that this was the best day of geocaching we've done. Heaps of interesting things to find. Thank you for all your work into these caches. So much thought and time has gone into this and we appreciate your efforts!
Yorsys and I were out finding some caches today and we needed some exercise so this lot suited us just fine. After a stroll from the carpark we arrived at a likely location where after a short time we located this cache. All was in good order and we were soon on our way again.

I spent the morning caching down the Bass Highway, starting near Wonthaggi and working my way back north. My main goal for the day was to find one last cache to complete D/T loop 10, which I did.
On the way back I parked the car and had a nice walk in the bush to find the caches here. I was a bit lucky as I didn't know the area had been off limits until recently due to a closure after some bad stuff had been dumped here. A bonus 1.5 years unloved picked up as a result.
Very cool hide and a fav for me.
Thanks tassieexpat.

I think they found a dumping ground during the burn off. Will keep monitoring.
Burn off done and warning signs have been removed. I'll return later this week.
Dear Bunjil and fellow Geocachers
Due to a planned burn off in The Gurdies Nature Reserve, I have retrieved and disabled my caches. The burn off is planned to occur sometime between now and the end of April, requiring ideal weather conditions for it to proceed.
This may mean that these could be offline until May.
Until then...cheers, tassieexpat

It's overcast but the chores are done and the rest of the day is free so I drive down to the Gurdies/Grantville was in order.
It started spitting while walking to this one but it wasn't too bad. It took a while to locate this guy but after reading the description again it was just a matter of looking in the right place.

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook.

Having set up camp near Kilcunda, it was time to head out and look for some of the many caches still waiting to be found in the area. We have driven past this reserve countless times, today it was clearly marked on our list. We tracked down the said trouble maker, but he really looked very lonely!
Satellites today had our GZ 6 metres WNW of where we found the cache.
Our thanks to tassieexpat for placing this cache.

Had to wait for a day when frmen1 was available as I'm terrified of snakes (hence my stats suffer over Summer). May have missed breeding season.
