This one stumped us but after a hot min and some feeling around cache dropped into hand well played good hide good find TFTC
6771Tuesday. On a whim we decided to take our new EV for a spin up to Toowoomba. What a day to do it... Got stuck in a traffic jam in the middle of the day (turns out the Maroons SOE side was making an appearnace on a nearby oval and anybody from within a 100km radius was there). Then we found a place to charge up the EV whilst we went our separate ways to get something to eat. Mr SP's tastes are simple, chicken and chips will do him fine (and very nice they were, too, he says). Mrs SP on the other hand ran into a succession of takeaway store owners who were more interested in one or more of: (a) talking on the phone (b) talking amongst themselves (c) looking at her but not moving from the back of the shop! Finally she found a place to serve her and Mr SP re-joined her having finished his already (and he is not a fast eater). Mrs SP seemed in a less than happy mood so it was agreed that Mr SP would rescue the car from the charger. When he got there there was an agitated woman demanding to know who owned the other EV as it had finished charging 20 mins ago and it was taking up the space that she needed. Mr SP assuaged her angst for a few minutes by telling her that he was vacating the other spot, but as he was making his way to the car her litany of complaints with the other car and the world in general could be heard spiltting the silence. Charge rage is a thing, we're here to tell you. Good thing it wasn't a petrol or deisel car in that spot, she would have blown a fuse. All odf this on top of what was the coldest day the SPs have experienced in quite some time. [xx(] More of that was to come when we made it to your cache! The winds were fairly howling through what looked like it would be a lovely park on a clear and sunny day. Alas, today was not that day! Luckily the cache was found quite quickly and we were back into the warmth of the car. This was the only cache found on this outing. Thanks ***Wardy079*** for showing us this place
Stumbling around in the dark this took quite some time. I looked high then low. Changed spots. Still nothing. Walked back to the car and had a rethink. Gradually worked through the options until I had cache in hand. This was tough for me but very satisfying when I signed the log. Took about 20mins. Thanks CommandoAndo for creating and maintaining this cache.
Found with a muggle who im introducing cache to. Tricky but persistence pays off. Tftc
Out caching, ticking off some smileys to the north of Toowoomba. Previewing the logs on the drive up, was expecting some difficulty here... Walked up and.. Oh!! There it is!! Hint in the description was spot on. What better place to sign the log than in the comfy swing in the playground? Some childlike fun and frivolity later, off to the next!! TFTC, found with Coleslaw867
Finally found on our 4th visit!easy now we found itKicking myself cause I looked there before but didnt grab itTFTC
Took a bit of searching but finally found the cache and also caught a beautiful sunset. TFTC!!!
After searching for over 40mins we could not find it. Logs did not help and the last person to find it was 2 months ago so it could possibly be discarded. Maybe we just didn't look enough or the coords werent on point
Wardy079 I found your cache Highfields Park Trail # 2 on 23/9/2023, 1:55 pm. This is my find 6034 and find # 8 today. Found it after a bit of a search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
I spent the day caching around Highfields with Davinells. After reading some logs we quickly found it. Coords seemed ok. Thanks for the cache Wardy079

Found it after lots or crawling and searching we found it and logged the log but it’s drenched might need new log
Coordinates are totally off. Pretty easy though. I'd recommend coming at night so you don't have to worry about stealth.

Log is totally wet, but did take my ink. Needs a new log as the corner of this one ripped as I pulled it out.

Quick find though the coordinates put me in the middle of the open grass. Log is a little damp but signing was not a problem. TFTC

Took a while crawling around trying to find it but eventually there it was. Log was a bit damp but managed to sign still. TFTF
Decided today we would drive up from Warwick, and drive the new(ish) Toowoomba Second Range Road. What a feat this is (not our drive, but the new road) While on the northern sideof Toowoomba, decided that a cache or five would be in order.....
Found by Mr D, as I don't go that low. Replaced soggy log. Thanks Commando Ando for the park trail

Checked on it again after a conversation with the most recent finder. Have returned to its intended location. Please return to where you find it!
Very quick find, although cache colour and location made in very visible. Not sure if this where it was originally placed. Owner might want to check on this one. Once again forgot the pen. Cache and log are in good condition.
Great swing at park.
Coordinates for a cache are a bit off. Log is wet was able to just sign

Needed something to do to pass 30min. Thought we would try our luck at this one and despite being quite a long time between finds we managed to find this one with a few minutes to spare. Logbook is still soaked, but the trusty ballpoint pen still worked. Thanks for the cache!
Found it - coordinates are still about 20m out and couldn't sign as log book is saturated.

I went to Toowoomba to visit a friend. Chamad decided to join me so we could have a 2 day adventure and that we certainly did. This involved hikes, drive-bys, tree climbs and boulder hopping. We saw some amazing natural sites and learned things about the area along the way.
After a day on Toowoomba we headed to Highfields on our way to Crows Nest.
This one was an important mission for Chamad towards his 360° from home so we spent a long time looking. Had to call a friend for help. Chamad really needed this one so he was determined to get it. Glad we were able to sign it off.

A plan was made to meet Triple turmoil in Toowoomba to grab a few target caches in Toowoomba and then make our way to Crows nest. With a list of caches made we were off, also grabbing a few as we passed by. This one was on the list as it filled in a path on my 360 degree loop.
It was not an easy find and I searched for a while here, ended up calling a friend to get a hint. Turns out I needed to search more methodically. A nice little container of which I have not seen before.
Thanks for placing this one here, all good with the cache, we signed the log and replaced as found and then started our way back onto the list.

Discovered I’d found this one before but hadn’t remembered to log it. A different hide and GZ but we did find the cache and happily added our signature to the log.
Cheers and happy caching!

This was a bit of an adventure. Firstly I went to GZ. No luck, then went to the shady table to sit and read previous logs. Noted the magnetic feature and then Going back too far they mentioned being able to get it if you are tall. Well, I’m not so I grabbed out the telescopic mirror. Looked all over the top of the structure, got my glove out and felt all over everything I could reach, working my way down until I found it in the LAST spot I touched. In fact it could only get lower if it lost it’s attraction. Stamped my name and let the log dry in the breeze and hot sun while writing this and enjoying the sound of the chirping birds around me. Garmin GPSr says it is at S27 28.584 E 151 56.304.
An early start for Brislions and I. A quick find and sign here and we were on our way again. TFTC
After sleeping in the Ute last night. A early start to our caching day. We solve the letterbox last night Selva Girls pick me up at woollies we found 30 caches and 1 Adventure Lab. The break down was 23 traditional, 5 mystery, multi, letterbox and 5 waypoints for the Adventure lab. So the finds count was 35. All caches were found all good condition.
Then I drove back to Brisbane in the afternoon. And pickup one in Brisbane.

I was going to log a DNF here, but I found an outer container on the ground... and when I returned it to the base of one of the shelters supports I realised that I could just add a temporary log in a snap lock bag and record the find... the CO may like to check this cache out as I wasn’t sure exactly where to return the cache...
Not sure how the previous finder found it and then wrote “it’s missing”
