Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Thor's day the seventeenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. A quick stop in here today, the cache was causing the tank to flood so fixed the issue. Travelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache

TFTC.(Translation later. )

Geohubby (GeoTigerAce) and I are headed off on a 4 week holiday from Brisbane heading to Canberra, Parkes, Katoomba, Sydney, Melbourne, Ballarat, Dubbo, and Coonabarabran as our main stops, with lots of side stops along the way planned. A much needed road trip to take in the sites and spend some time away in nature.Over the course of our 4 weeks I wanted to focus on Australia's 'oldest' caches, and caches of interest (e.g., iconic locations, interesting locations, lots of favourite points, and places I have never been) as well as hitting my next milestone (#600). It has been a wonderful trip and we have seen so much, and spent a lot of time caching and exploring little places of interest. Thanks to all of the cache owners for maintaining these caches and bringing us to beautiful places on our travels, and challenging us to keep on looking at the world just a little bit differently. Lots of memories have been made.Day 16: TripCache #72: Today we woke up in the stunningly beautiful town of Eden and began our travels further south picking up caches along the way. Thanks for giving us reasons to stop in all these beautiful little towns instead of bypassing them. TFTC.

Working my way towards geocache number 5555 and still needed a few more geocaches before heading for my target cache.

Took a little but to work out what the hint was talking about and then took it too literally. But got it in the end. Very muddy in this location.

Thanks for the cache Don 55

Found this cache while heading home from a family day out in the Latrobe Valley.

30-Jul-23
Reading previous logs.... I'm out! I'm short and wearing white shoes, so it was up to the geo-kids to find this one while I sat and watched from the car.
Geo-kids battled the mud field that was getting wetter by the second due to the "spitting" getting a bit more intense. They headed back for some clarification on the hints and when looked again the happy dance began.
The best bit was the crazy walk back through the mud hole. Best bit for me anyway .
Geo-kid said it was definitely an arm reacher, so lucky I stayed in the car lol.

30-Dec-22
In one last big day out for the year, buhfuhguh and I sent off 2022 with a trip to Warragul in the morning before gradually making our way around to Hastings to secure some of the last Community Celebration Events available to us alongside some miscellaneous local hides.

Seeing as though we'd found the other cache in this duo earlier today and were driving past this one, we figured we might as well complete the set!
This was fortunately less beset by earwigs but still caused me a bit of a headache.
It felt like I'd checked all of the available places that could match with the hint... I can think of something else F is for!
It took, as it usually does, a step back and quiet revaluation for me to finally spot the container quite neatly tucked away.

Thanks to don55 for this placement! Smile

Out and about today with Brain in tow. With two celebration events on at a reasonable distance we decided why not. So with Warragul and Hastings routes mapped out we were off caching. Perfect weather and smiles about, probably should have put sunscreen on earlier in the day. Regardless had a great day out with great company. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure

Find # 10843

Found while travelling with sharkiefan, on an extended long weekend.

The Sale trip is almost over. Today we packed up and headed for home (well Werribee for me for the night)
We targeted a few caches along the way and added more to the list as we went on our last cache was going to be in Pakenham but with a new Virt in the city we detoured and We even managed to get the FTF, This city grab sparked more smiley gathering and after a walk around the MCG an the tennis courts i had added another good handfull to my list.
This would have to be the best end to a great loooooong weekend out.

The other day we were heading east and got the one "over the road" it was only fitting that we had to get the set of these. Tbis one was a quicker find than the other. Smile

Found with FUF009.
Our journey back to Melbourne after a long weekend in Sale.
I made a list of caches for us to find on the way. We found almost all of them, added a few and dropped a few.
My caching day started in Yinnar and ended at the MCG!
We did the other one on the way to Sale so did this on the way back.

Find #5 of 13 today.
Found at 10.37

Continuing on Day 3 of our caching adventure in the Neerim region - this one was not on our list to do. However, we needed petrol after three days of driving around and saw that this pump was the cheapest in the area as per PetrolSpy. The fact that Woolies 4c rewards also work; made it better. So, off to a slightly out of the way place to fill up. While I filled the car, the kids ran off to look for the cache and were not having much luck at all.

As soon as I joined them; they found it. I must have the extra motivation they needed - need to find more than Dad!!

TFTC.

Found this one on my way home from my grandma's house for Easter Sunday. I didn't find an Easter bunny here but I did find a cute froggy. The hint definitely helped as I made a few circles before reading it and soon after spotted the cache.
Thanks for the cache in such a convenient spot to stop!

After driving around in circles in the car park, we finally found the best spot to park.
We searched all around the possible locations, even using the hint. Eventually Mrs Papi4506 spotted the sneaky hide, and I retrieved it. As the eight legged cache guardian jumped off the cache I also jumped 10 feet backwards.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, don55

On the way home from a big day out, I made another stop at this one as previous stops I found cars full of muggles close by so I kept on going.
Today I actually got out of the car and headed over to GZ, turns out i probably could of found it on the other days as it is more out of sight than i was thinking it was.
