Making the most of this magnificent winter's day by grabbing a few bushland caches. This was one I found on my hike. Dropped off a TB here which had been burning a hole in my pocket. Tftc
I got lucky with this one. All day my GPS has been all over the place. I was searching one of the magnificent trees when I headed over to another and spied the container. 12m off but certain it's my dodgy GPS, not bad coords. TFTC.
Took the day off work to celebrate my birthday by trail walking and caching.
Such a beautiful day with good weather to be out searching in the bush.

Love that geocaching helps me venture out to new places. It was a peaceful Sunday arvo with no muggles in sight. Parked at the parking waypoint provided and was welcomed by a group of black cockatoos. Managed to capture one cockatoo flying off.
First find if this series. It was a quick find and cache is in good condition. TFTC

Caching up here with axell33 on a beautiful winters day and enjoying the walk. A quick find here with all well. We did notice that its ftf was exactly 7 years ago today! Thanks for the cache PHAVC.
Enjoying the walk on this beautiful morning for caching. Enjoyed this little series. Another nice quick find and we made our mark on your log. Your cache was returned to where it lives. TFTC & S Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre.
Great condition! Cute little trinkets! We left some fun things too!! Thanks for this geocache!!
Apologies for the generic log but spent a great morning wandering through this area. Thanks to the Perths Hills Armadale Visitor Centre for maintaining these caches. All the coordinates were spot on when my phone settled. It was a quiet walk along very good trails/gravel roads..Saw 1 walker and 1 jogger towards the end. All caches and logs were in excellent condition. tftc
Hopefully a quick walk through here this morning, quick find even tho gz is bouncing around under the trees,TFTC
I grabbed these 3 caches whilst doing the SCW series nearby. All is well with this one.
Thanks for the series Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre

Checked on this one today & found in it good condition and exactly where it should have been.
Finally a day without rain means that I can go out and get some caches.
This is such a beautiful area. The wild flowers are just beginning to make an appearance.
Found without issues although GOS was jumping a bit to begin with.. and I kept getting distracted by the flowers and heading in the wrong direction .
Log dry.

Tried to do this one first but was interrupted by muggles so we carried on to the next in this series. Revisited on the way back to our car making this the last for the day. Container in good condition. Added some trinkets.
Found on a socially distanced bushwalk. All in good condition, thanks for the cache
Teamed up with Photo-Play today for a couple of hikes around Bedfordale. A very pleasant walk here with still plenty of wildflowers around. Thank you for the cache Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre.
Found it. TFTC Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre. Out roaming the countryside with papillon367. We decided to try our luck with this series. Great walk through this area.
After finding no’s 3 & 2 quite easily, I then struggled to lay my eyes (& hands) on this one. I bush bashed around & around for at least twenty mins before ignoring the co-ords on my phone and just systematically went from tree to tree. Finally found it!!!
Out and about doing a bunch of caches in Armadale today. This one was a quick find to start the day TFTC
Headed SOR today with the specific intent of walking around Settlers Common and picking up this series of caches. Had a very enjoyable time here today with the geohound; didn't see any muggles but did see plenty of roos It threatened to rain the whole time I was here but thankfully it held off and I could explore this lovely area of bushland without getting soaked All caches were located quickly and all are in good condition. Great paths here too. No problems with any cache, all were easy finds TFTC
Needed a cache for our date grid and grabbed this one as we were nearby! Would love to have done more but Mr Swaggie has man flu, we will be back!! TF a great C, wildflowers were lovely!
Onto the next installment of the Settlers Common Caches, this was our first target after parking at the end of the road... As with the previous caches found we had real troubles with the GPS today & it took sometime to locate the cache after the gizmo was sending me in 30m circles

Wandering in the bush looking for Settlers Common caches. Parked at the suggested parking and picked up the 3 Central caches.
Thanks PerthHillsArmadaleVC for the cache.
Thanks PerthHillsArmadaleVC for the cache.
After a really awful week at work (full moon) I welcomed the chance of some fresh air and quiet for this bush find.
Seeing that muskcat83 found this one without me (and he was the first to find it) i thought i should head here after school one day to get a smiley and to add another to my calender. Nice spot for a walk and the cache is in good condition. Thanks for the hide!
I hadn't visited Bedfordale for several years and with a few hours to spare I thought I would challenge myself to see how wuickly I could complete the SCC series. I made an early start just after dawn and parked at the end of Settlers Road. Most were found quite quickly, with only a couple being a little bit more of challenge. I was pleased to see that all were in good working order. A great little walk in this patch of nature. TFTC Armadale Visitor Ctr
Doing the settlers common area! Nice and close to home! Just a great walk in the bush!
Easyish find!
Easyish find!
I wanted to get out and stretch the legs so decided to pick a nice series of caches in the hills to complete. The Settlers Common West and a few others in the area were selected. It was trying to rain while out on the trails but didn't really stop me. All the caches were found in good condition. This was find number twelve of fifteen for the day. Many thanks Armadale visitor centre for the series of caches.
Oh bother I missed this one! I blame not having an internet connection in this part of the common, as well as it getting late and I needed to head home. Maybe I'll come back this way someday!
I hit up the regular caching crew as the wife was out of town, the kids in school and me on holidays.
KrabiBoy was the only one able to heed the call this Friday, after shelving our original plans for a big day we decided this small loop would be fine for our 30 a day exercise.
Found all the caches today with little trouble, a pleasant walk in this area with a nice loop of caches to keep us interested.
Thanks for placing this cache out here and getting us out and about.

AlliedOz messaged to say we had put aside today to head out and grab a few smilies, so we picked out this series and made a morning of it.
A nice quick grab for Allied here.

Hi there Armadale Visitor Ctr - it was time that I started these three series of caches and even though today was hot I decided on these three caches. All were found easily and each cache was signed. This is my find #4235 - thanks to Armadale Visitor Ctr for this cache.
After dropping FlyingPigSquadron off at the airport we decided to continue on our way and Cache Armadale. We had a wonderful time, the weather was perfect and the caches interesting.

Teamed up with Clan-Wallace, megawat60 and m4yb on this lovely cool Sunday morning to take a stroll through the Armadale Settlers Common and collect some smilies. All caches were found quickly. Wildflowers are still in bloom and we all enjoyed the nice tracks in this lovely piece of bushland.

Plans were made to meet up with M4yb, Sir Megawatt 60 & Me & B to make an assault on the Settlers Common circuits. We did not think it a good idea to go on Saturday as temperatures of 35 degrees were forecast, it was a good decision as the mercury actually reached 39 yesterday . Today was a much more comfortable 26 degrees & we thoroughly enjoyed our gentle walk through this beautiful bushland. The spring flowers are still looking good & the call of the Black Cockatoos was a delight. Left a TB. TFTC

So today, Clan Wallace, Me&B, megawat60 and self had an enjoyable walk through this pristine bit of bushland.
We parked our geovehicles and this was the first find, made by megawat60. SL, I am one of the M's.

Well the Clan crew are back form London town and m4yb and me are back form our wanderings, so it was time to have a joint assault on this section. We teamed up with Me&B and signed ourselves as MMM&CW, being Me&B, M4yb, Megawat60 and Clan Wallace, much easier and faster on a warm day. Just so glad it was not the sudden heat of yesterday.
This was the first and they were all nice easy finds, thanks for the series Armadale Visitor Ctr

Spent 2 hrs wandering around these great trails with K.B. Thanks for creating these series.
We pulled up behind another vehicle to wander to 01, 02 and 03. Not sure whether they were cachers but they had three young kids one of whom was screaming so we headed straight off to log three quick finds. Thanks for the caches.
Spent an enjoyable couple of hours in the area tackling 2 of the Armadale Trail Series. A lovely walk amongst the kangaroos, kookaburras and beautiful wildflowers.

Decided to take a chance with the weather after yesterdays atrocious state. Although overcast, grey and a bit chilly it was perhaps the perfect day to tackle the Armadale Tails series. All caches found without a problem and enjoyed the stroll with Everlasting and Jacobscrew. Thanks Armadale Visitor Ctr
We decided to head to this neck of the woods to grab some of the caches in this area and do some exploring. It was fun cruising around this area and we had a blast. TFTC . I left one of our signature tags in this one for the next finder.

I must admit, that this type of caching is my favourite. A nice brisk walk on a natures tail, caches hidden in reasonable distance from a trail with not too much bush bashing involved. Unfortunately weather wasn't with us this time, so during this walk Mistraluna and I were getting absolutely soaked. Like dripping wet. But that wasn't gonna stop us. Thank you Armadale Visitor Ctr for bringing us here. Not thanking the Rain King though
Eliktrisiti and I decided that a little bit of rain wasn't going to deter us from tackling some of the bush caches in the Armadale hills area before the weather got too warm. Others thought we were crazy, but we donned our wet weather gear and ended up having a really great day of it. This was the first of the walks we had planned for the day, and we really enjoyed the walk around the tracks, spotting early wildflowers and enjoying the antics of the red-tailed black cockatoos that seemed to be everywhere today. All caches were found without too much trouble, even in the rain. Thanks for placing and maintaining this series for us to enjoy Armadale Visitor Ctr
Found SCC 01 Armadale's Trails - Settlers Common Central. No trackables to trade TNLN SL TFTH Armadale Visitor Ctr.
Decided to do a reconescence checkout today to do the rest of the series next week for my birthday with my girls and grandchildren. One in a stroller looks good. So roll on next Sunday.
Took a while for gps to settle but got there. Great bush walk on beautiful morning. Tftc
We found this last week and i thought i had logged them it seems i didn't. We had a lovely walk in the bush to find cache nice easy find. TFTH
Went out with the geodaughter Redlipsandunicorns for a few hours of caching. Our main caches to find were all the Armadale trail ones. we had a great time walking along the paths and the weather was great today. All caches were found with out any problems. Thanks for putting out this great series. TFTC Armadale Visitor Ctr
Spent the day caching with Happy Jacks 55 doing the settler series. Great day for a walk in a beautiful area TFTC.
Quick find whilst out on a days caching adventure with my mom Ooh Yeh. Really enjoyed the walk on this trail. Lovely area. TFTC
TFTC! Spent the day out caching with Cravo10 on our usual Thursday outing. We've spent a fair amount of time recently cleaning up a bunch of caches near the Rockingham and Baldivis areas so we decided to change things up a bit and head to the Armadale area to cleanup the new couple of cache series by the Armadale visitor centre, the Victoria cross series and a few odd ones along the way.
We were a bit unsure of what to expect with the poor weather that had been around for a couple of days and what was forecast today so we decide to play it by how things were on the day. As it turned out it was perfect caching weather, a little bit of drizzle and intermittent showers to keep the muffles away but just enough that it was bearable for caching and a nice cool temperature for the bush walks we intended on completing.
We completed the two settlers common series of caches quite quickly before attempting a bunch of the VC series to get the bonus box. Unfortunately two caches in the series appear to be musing and we couldn't complete the series, even though we tried to force the co ords by grid searching the area. Alas we couldn't find the ammo box, have emailed the CO and hopefully they can help us out.
A good day out if not for our shoes getting a bit too wet and making walking with water in the shoes a little bit fun. Thanks to the COs for the days caching. Cheers

Out and about with barnzy12 again today. Today the weather wasn't great to start with however this didn't delay out start at all. As usual Steve headed to work for a few hours and then I was able to pick him up.
The mission today was some of the new series published last week and as such meant that we didn't need to drive to far today. All up only around 50km for this Thursday's efforts not Too bad at all.
By the time we hit the trails the weather almost had cleared and only some light rain lingered. It was however still a little cold but once we got into it evening was great.
All caches were found in good condition TFTH TFTC

We had decided to come out here on the hope that it wasn't raining and it wasn't until the very last cache had been found and was on the way back to the car. However that last bit of the walk made us very wet.
After about the second cache we met PF68 and we walked all of the rest of the caches together. Also met Fernandogirls and Bittgirls twice along the trail as they were going the other way around the trails.
Found the cache without problems.
Log signed and cache returned as found.
Thanks Armadale Visitor Ctr for the cache.

After almost giving in. I went to log the cache and realised the coordinates had been changed. After that it was an easy find.
*FTF* at 8:06am. So last night i decided that i would keep working on our new series. Decided due to the weather not to go out caching, plus my geo-sister was out of town... BUT i woke up and saw 9 caches published that said "Armadale...", i though maybe. Then something rushed through my blood, and i yelled to the kids to get changed and get in the car, we are going to try and get our first ever FTF's. Said bye to muggle wife and off we went. Decided to the do the second series that was published first as better chance for FTF. Kids went wild when we found it!! For the first time in Muskcat83 history we are FTF. Added some swaps and went looking for #2. Thanks for the cache, the wildflowers are starting to come out already.
