Quickly found with Gummi_Venus. Now we are off to the chili pepper eating competition!
It's school holidays so I finish work a little earlier than usual. I talked GeoHubby (GNARwhal) into leaving work early also (we work at the same establishment) so we could have a GeoDate while Miss 11 is at the beach with her sister.GNARwhal made a quick find here. Sometimes I don't ask him along because his geosense is amazing and he finds all the caches!!! Thanks for another smiley.
Down from Whangarei for a few days visiting family and had to take the opportunity to grab a few caches as and when the chance presented itself. This avo, the other half took the credit card on a trip to town, so I headed in the other direction for a proper caching jaunt. The Waimakariri sandspit seemed a good choice, so I headed up there and secured all 7 caches. On the way back to our accommodation, I stopped off for this one. A nice quick find here thanks, TFTC
We have replaced the container and the Log Book So all's good to find Happy Caching
How nice to have a seat to sit on and pleasant view while signing log.

It's been a few weeks since my last great Sat morning exped. Weather and work have conspired against me. But no excuses this morning. Nice and easy. Put some Kms in today, so the sit down was appreciated.... Cheers!
A nice wee find.
We parked on a nearby street and approached GZ from the lovely walkway beside the water and the wee playground.

Going North for a cache we couldn't find, we stopped on our wayback in Prestons. We didn't know this area at all, looks brand new and shiny, we'll have to come back and explore a bit more. Container was in good condition as the logbook. Easy park and grab, safe for kids to find the cache.
Staying in Christchurch for a few days visiting the children. Quick stop here on the way to the coast. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for the smiley.
3/3 today. I think we're following quakecity around....they may have forgotten their pen.....having fun trying to guess who they might be TFTC
Muggles watching a cycle race took up residence very by, however, they were easily distracted by the riders passing by; TFTC
Found with 1/2 of Murphys law. Nice easy find, one magnet is loose, but still stickable
It’s going to be a hot day. Having a short trip from Invercargill to Christchurch with Infoferret finding lots of caches, in particular the TMGT caches for me.
The cache may be signed with our individual names or ‘IE’.

Wandered down from where we were staying today & found this one, with Campmotherandken after a short search TFTC
We had been out to help a friend and I checked for caches. We did a big loop drive home and came to this new area we had never seen. Love all the stone work. Nice seat to sit on and sign log. Thanks for the cache Wombles B.J&T.
I wandered over the field from the Pigeon Club to here. Stone Walls - they can be a quick find or an absolute mission! I was relieved this was the former due to a thoughtful placement thanks Wombles B.J&T. Now for the long drive home. TFTC # 15,627
We are currently down in Christchurch visiting my elderly mother and have a little spare time for some caches. We were out at Burwood Hospital this morning and drove along here afterwards and picked up two caches in the area. I was rather amused to note that tbird53 (my brother) was the second to last person to pick up this cache! Great spot here, TFTC
Found this one on my way back to base after a very enjoyable bike ride in Bottle Lake Forest. I parked in Te Kereme St and used the walkway from there to get to the cache, as the main road near the cache seems to be riddled with broken yellow lines which prevent parking nearby. Anyway once I’d walked 150m or so to the cache, it was a quick find. #2928. TFTC.
Rain has thwarted our plans for a weekend at lake Pearson so back in the city and time to kill before heading to the movies .. looked in the wrong place to start with but took the weight of and finally found it tftc
Took grandchildren Genevieve and Joel to visit this cache. They were keen to find it. Thanks. Rodney and Iris.

We do not know our way around Christchurch like we used to, so we kind of stumbled across this area. Parking is at a premium around here so once we found somewhere to park we wandered to find the cache. We were really surprised at how close the houses are to each other around here, you could jump from one roof to another. We hoped people got on with their neighbours as they would certainly be able to hear one another.
Anyway we arrived at the seat and as it turned out I was sitting on top of the cache, so a quick find and sign. I returned it as I had found it and we wandered back to the van. Thank you for placing the cache and thank you for the smiley

I didn't realise how far Prestons had come since my sister was looking at houses here a couple of years ago. TFTC Wombles B.J&T

Phew, this turned out to be a nice and easy one, just what I needed for the evening. Just have had some anhedonic experience with caches in stone walls before!
The only thing here is to find a good parking spot. I found that to be on Te Kereme St nearby.

Found it! The magnet broke off the cache as I was handling it. The cache is now in the rocks next to the bench.
Out for a nice stroll before bed. Found easily enough. No muggles about. Signed and returned.
Pleasant evening for a stroll around this landscaped area and with a grey heron for company. Nice seat and Tftc
Nice to know I couldn't find it last time because it wasn't there! A much easier find now, not sure if I should be sad or happy

Found with Injeanious. We had been here before with no luck, we even got a hint from a friend, to arrive and find we didn't need it. Easy find this time, pleased to have this one off the DNF list. TFTC!
JD and I got to GZ armed with a hint on where to find the cache, only to realise that it had been changed to a much simpler hide. Hmm, such mixed feelings. This one was our nemesis for so long and we were determined to find the tricky little hide, but now I feel a little defeated. Ah well, at least I can finally cross another DNF off the list. Tftc.
