Staying near by so wandered along to claim the cache. Thanks for the placement
**21,603**Glad we brought the bike with us on this trip. Great cycleway, enjoyed the ride on a beautiful day (so far, I see clouds building in the distance). Nice quick find here and now on to the next. TFTC
Thanks for your amazing cache tikitour. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Found with Fisha1288Signed F & Cympull Cheers, Cympull.
Almost made it to finding this hide when I needed to turn back to make a toilet stop of all things. On the way back this way I made a quick find. Didn't think I would be able to walk this path for some time but things came together today. Thanks for placing tikitour! And for being responsible for the path itself!
Extended the walk onto the start of the walkway and this first one was (eventually found). Saw a spoonbill scooping the water nearby too.Meeting up with the little ones today at the new park, and after some play we went on a shortish stroll and snapped up some of the more recent (to me) hides.Into June already and Winter is here with temperatures dropping later in the day, and curtains drawn earlier and earlier. Time to head to the 'Winterless North' - Yeah Right. A few days away up from Rangitikei and another 4 night stay at Chateau Ngunguru, the works bach. A good time to catch up with the family and grandchildren in Maungatapere, and a few trips to spend time with each other in Whangarei. Highlights of the visit; A few more Riser caches, some more 0B80B8 ones, meeting both of those COs within a few hours of each other on the Monday, and another rare Wherigo. As ever, thanks to all COs for their hides and maintenance.
Found on the 26th a one off Public Holiday following the death of Queen Elizabeth 11.
God Bless the King.
God Bless the King.
Taking a meandering journey to Onerahi with rustynz and gorby on the bikes, got this on the return journey. Thanks for the hide
We have done a CITO this morning, been shopping for an e-bike, bought oil and coolant for my van, and now we are hurtling along Whangarei's cycleways. Rusty has one of my e-bikes, I have my other and Rebel has his, huge amount of fun.
This cache we did on our way back from cycling but we are still heading back. Initially I looked down instead of up, due to the fact I didn't look at the hint...lol. But found it regardless, happy about that.

With rebel98 and gorby cycling to Onerahi, then finding a few caches on the return journey
We like finding this type, thanjs for the hide and being part of today's adventure

Love a cache like this! Walk up, grab the log sign and move on. Path was quiet but road busy. TFTC
Nice quick find. Found a second LB on ground so returned it to the container. TFTC
Quick park and grab once I waited for the road to be clear to run across and grab. These are one of my favorite type of caches. Thanks
Great cycle ride on a cracker day. We are on a motorhome trip to Northland from Blenheim. Always good to get out and about. Great hide. TFTC
Wow!!! Haha this is sneaky!!!!! You had us here lol. Awesome! Will have a chuckle every time we pass this !!
Enjoyed a wee stroll with beauti views of the boats nearby. The water looked amazing. All good at gz.
Found this one on our walk from kissing point marina to pohe island bridge. Have come across these before so was a nice and easy find. Thanks for the cache

12.20pm. In town for a couple of hours a with time to spare. A quick find here.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Clever hide. Added extra log. Original was soaked. Placed into bag to hopefully waterproof.
I hiked over from the dog park to get to this one. I just had to worry about cars, but they all seemed to be going too fast to notice or care what I was up to. TFTC.
Well this had been a journey in the making for some time as for the past few weeks a group of us were working on puzzles in the area for a 24 hour mission (travel time included) to see what we could reasonably grab.
All caches were signed "HOAC" so as to save space in the logbook. So together with HKCB, 11HPG, kiwis69 & Alpenmilch83 we left Hamilton at 6.pm with the aim to do as many as possible before sleeping in the car, grabbing breakfast and continuing on. Plenty of laughs were had and stories told. Thanks to all the CO's for their efforts in keeping these going and taking the time and effort to place and maintain these caches.
This was one of the few traditional caches that were targeted to collect on the trip as we relocated the car on the way to the next colection of adventure
Thanks for the placement, Thanks for the cache

On another HOAC mission, this time with Cats&Dragons, Kiwis69, 11HPG11, and Alpenmilch80. The mission a 24 hour blitz on Whangarei puzzles, plus a certain multi to complete C&D's 5th loop around the D/T grid. Leaving Hamilton at 6pm, with a quick stop in Auckland to pick up A80, we were in Whangarei caching just after 10pm.
During the moonlight hours the plan was to focus on the puzzles around Onerahi, and the Pokemon series, while during thhe daylight the plan was to focus on thegreatauk puzzles plus a few others we had solved. The mission turned out to be fairly successful considering the level on difficultly of most of the hides we were targeting. The logs were signed as HOAC to save room on the logs, a big thanks must go out to all the CO's for their hides.

A Friday night a bit different. I got picked up in AKL by a car loaded with Cats&Dragons, 11hpg11, kiwis69, HKCB & a trunk full of food, which could have lasted us for a week surviving in Whangarei. Started into the night with telling a lot of funny stories, enjoying laughter’s and geocaching, geocaching, geocaching.... Found quickly once we drove up to GZ.
I enjoyed the time out with the HOAC crew and must say when I arrived back home I felt broken, but very happy and accomplished. TFTC and TFTTrip

A trip to Whangarei for the night to collect a few caches is totally normal right? 2 hours sleep is also normal? Our group tonight consisted of Cats&Dragons, HKCB, Kiwis69, Alpenmilch80 and myself. We left Hamilton at 6pm on Friday and we were home by 6.30pm on Saturday. Some great caches were found and some laughs were had and a lot of sugar and caffeine consumed. A lot of planning and puzzle solving had gone into the prep work so we had a good plan of what caches to attack. Logs were signed as HOAC to save room
Pondered on the hint as we approached but it all made sense when we got there. Nicely hidden.

Found during our 24-hr Whangarei caching mission. After a few weeks' planning and a lot of nights working our way through some of the more recently published puzzles, we (HKCB, 11HPG11, Alpenmilch83, C&D & myself) set off north on Friday evening with our caching wish-list. Great trip: really enjoyed exploring new areas, lots of laughs as always and good to find a few caches (although a bit more sleep would've been nice too!) before we headed back home on Saturday afternoon. All caches were signed "HOAC" so as to save space in the logbooks. First stop was Onerahi for puzzles, then back towards town for a few more hides that we reckoned are a lot easier to look for at night when there are no muggles around - this was definitely one of those! Great camo, TFTC
I am up in Whangarei/Onerahi for Easter weekend visiting the parents and of course, I am going to collect some caches whilst in the area. After a bit of caching in Onerahi this morning and a trip down to Ruakaka for the Marsden City series, I'm back in Whangarei for a couple more hours of caching before heading back to Onerahi. This afternoon turned out to be a tour of my childhood, as it passed by many of the places I spent time in in my formative years.
Heading back to Onerahi and there's just a couple more that I want to get today.
Pulled up and crossed the road, where the cache was a quick find and I could head to the last cache of my day. TFTC

Riser5 took me out for a walk to scout for rubbish after the beachtobasin on the weekend. With a couple of caches nearby as well why not do two things we love at the same time. What a great hide! It blends right in and has a favorite point from me. tftc
Another clever cache placed by sister tikitour. Enjoyed my walk along the cycle way and happily made a quick find here. Another fav point.
Out for a days geocaching, parked by the dog park and walked over to this one. Spotted cache as I approached. TFTC.
Didn't have our bikes with us, but enjoyed a stroll along this walkway. Not too many cyclists about today so it was easy to retrieve the cache and sign our name.
Since geting back on the bike again recently, have chuckled each time I have ridden passed this cache, knowing it's such a clever hide. Been leaving it though, till I really needed an easily accessible one to keep the 2017 streak going. Had to work late tonight, so this was a good candidate for a park and grab on the way home.

Driving to whangarei heads so had to duck across the road. Very busy. Tried to look casual signing log and nearly arsed up ...oops. Thanks for the cache

Beautiful day out. In Whangarei visiting family and stopped off to collect some family caches
#666 Oldest &Co's birthday so we headed out for a geocache with Dad. Quick find but quite exposed. Thankfully it is always easier to be stealthy with a kid. TFT(cycle way)C.
No biking here, just a park n Grab. Cheers.
Next part of the holiday, driving walking and biking around Whangarei and environs. Time to find a few little boxes.....
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Made my way to Whangarei today for a quick cache grab for my souvenir. Wanted to get 5 caches today to bring me to my 1000th cache. Parked across the road a did a mad dash. Quick find and we were off, TFTC
Went for a nice walk from home along the new walkway, grabbing this one before the grand opening on the 21st.Should be even better when the bridges are upgraded. Can see this one from my lounge,Tftc.
Grabbing this cache made the perfect quick little warmup for this morning's Parkrun. Tftc!
(1996) Out caching after work and decided to walk some of the new cycle way out to Onerahi. I have come across this type of cache before, so soon had the log sign and on my way to the next one. TFTC
After having lunch with family in Kerikeri, I stopped for this cache on my way to visit the CO in Onerahi, before continuing on to Auckland. Having been in discussions with the CO about the meaning of the hint earlier in the year, I knew exactly what to look for at GZ and made a quick find of the cache! TFTC!
