Another easy find here, woolly hat and coat and all.Our youngest daughter recently bought and moved to the Lower Hutt area so our finds in that locale have been increasing over the last few visits. With her birthday coming up this week we headed down on Saturday to drop off her presents, as well as some more of her stuff stored at our house. After all of that we headed out for a visit to the local area (shops/caches) with the hope that the threatened weather never eventuated (it didn't). A nice quick and easy 10 caches then back to pick them up and head back North a short while after. Thanks to the COs for their cache hides and efforts.
I think this one qualifies as a femtocache, which is smaller then a nano cache. TFTC.
Found it but the log is lodged so deep and impossible to take it out without a tool. Favourite point from us. TFTC
How cute! One of our fav (caches and animals). Old log may need to be retired. TFTC!
I had to go to Seaview to purchase an item for my snail shell which didn't take long at all. So what better way to spend a bit of extra time than to sign off a few caches.I found this cache on the ground having lost its invisible glue to hold him in place.Cheers for the cache, Jodanz.
Yess finally found it! No idea how I missed it last time. A quacking good hide indeed tftc.
With GZ visble to passing traffic made sure I timed looking low when there was a lull to the flow. Fingers found the way but they weren't sure what they had grabbed, lol. Neat wee cache! A mother swan and her teenage cygnets came swimming nearby - very sweet.
First signature on the replacement log - long may it last! TFTC

Some scrote has taken it - have replaced and made it "premium only". All 3 of our caches along this stretch have started regularly disappearing after several years of no trouble so hopefully making it "premium only" may help.
Replaced cache as once again some AH has stolen the cache. Luckily we have a drawer full of replacements.
Area accessible again. Some scumbag has taken the cache container so replaced it with a fresh one.
Stopbank construction work means the site is currently fenced off. Will reinstate once the works are complete.
There is some serious activity with trucks and rocks. There was a duck but there was nothing to write on about the site. Thanks.
Tried to replace it today but there was a fisher when I went past at 10 am and a couple of cyclists at midday so will have to return another day.
Quick find on a grey day! Giving it a FP for the good story, cuteness and the scenery! TFTC
Dark, raining and windy by the time we got here will have to give it another go!
Quick easy once I got to the location with my friends counting distance for me. TFTC
Stayed in Petone last night in our way to Wellington. This morning had to visit nearby marina dump station which was a good excuse to collect some caches around here. Enjoyed the stroll along the waterfront. A quick find here. Thanks for the smiley.
Good Friday, and the start of a nice long weekend away from work for me. Oh except I'm working on Saturday morning... and also working on my house... and probably working on another house too...so anyway, today was a stunningly gorgeous day in the Capital, so decided to make the most of some down time before all that other shenanigans starts.
Having just found a different cache not very far away from here, Jus3 and I decided to take advantage of the great weather to stroll along the walkway and look for this cache. It was a quick (or would that be quack?) find at GZ and then over to nurse Jus3 to make the careful extraction of the foreign object insertion!
Primary extraction completed, but she had trouble with the secondary extraction so it was over to me to get my grubby little hands on the logsheet. Added our names and then replaced as found. No anaesthetic required for the successful re-attachment, and the patient was soon back up on their webbed feet again!
Thanks for the cache.

Stunning Good Friday weather, and perfect for a waddle along the shore with Twignz. Another showing of log book plucking and realisation that I might now need tweezers in my car a long with a stash of pens.
Thanks for replacing this cutie cache!
Thanks for replacing this cutie cache!
Went to replace it today but some feral drug smoking losers were parked up a few metres away so will return shortly when it is hopefully a little less busy.
Wow, loving all these fishing areas! Great morning out with lolliqueen and Sherlock the puppy! Tftc!!!
Lovely to take in the views of Wellington from here. Cute hide. Thanks for the cache.
Another escape! Cache replaced but not sure how log it will last as it seems to have been muggled twice in close succession after several years with no problems.
Either I am really oblivious to see it or it has gone again, couldn’t find it this time.
Nice quick find on a very sunny afternoon. Had to do this one very sneakily to avoid nearby muggles. TFTC
Cycled out here after work to have another go at this. And if I can't find it, there is another just down a bit further to keep my streak going. So I get there and...
Jeepers! how the heck did I miss that?!? Last time I was here I spent ages standing around like I belonged here, maybe waiting for a pickup, and doing quite a thorough search in between muggles. In the rain. Lots of rain. Obviously not as thorough as I thought. In fact, quite obviously, not thorough at all!
Nice not to let this one get away
