In view of multiple DNF it would be good if the CO could confirm that the cache is still there. Thanks
Spent the day caching in Hawke’s Bay on my way to Whanganui for some work. Parked my bike beside the road after the one way bridge and set off for some lonely caches along this trail. 3 Finds and 3 DNF. Couldn’t work out which tree the GPS was settling on so climbed two but still no joy. Decided to turn back at this stage.
Mum was concerned by the name of this cache - as the previous few caches required lifting 13YO - and the name of this one suggested perhaps even higher lifting!!!
Mum decided to attempt this one as the last one before turning back, and was pleased to spot the cache as they approached GZ at a height Dad could reach!

I took my bike for a ride down the river, and made some finds, not all quick, down this way. Cheers.
And now we travel from Taupo to New Years Eve celebrations in Napier. There have been a few new caches since we were last through this way.
Thanks to all of the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Geo hubby showing off his gps skills with new handheld device....found on first look.
The 3 trees nearest the co-ords were checked and climbed but couldn't spot the container today.

škoda, žádné šplhání nebylo... našli jsme krabičku na zemi
zalogoval jsem a dál ji na místo, kde tak moc nefouká a terénu trochu odpovídá

Thought I'd walk this trail and see what trees I could climb to retrieve some cache's. With the help of a peice of wood to stand on, cache was soon signed and placed back. Cheers.
Cache was located pretty quickly once we established which one we needed to clamber up. One shape eyes finder soon had his hands on the cache. TFTC.
Last one for the day. Cache was quickly in hand, Dogs loved the walk along here. Its a shame there is no "official" walkway along here. Once again TFTC look forward to a few more along here
[FTF] Decided to go for a walk today to collect the new caches along the river. Jumped the fence and away we went for our walk. This was the first one we stopped at and we searched in the correct spot for a quick find. Log signed B+P TFTC
