Today we left our caravan in Armadale and made our way down to Tamworth for a day of geocaching and sight-seeing. This was one of several geocaches we found today.

In the cooler part of the afternoon we came up to this area. Busy place in sections but luckily it was an easy find at GZ. Thanks Whitey Wiskas.
Parked the car across the road and walked over to GZ. A quick search was undertaken and cache found. There was some movement inside. TFTC
On our way home from the Oz geo Muster (MEGA) at Morisset and only going as far as Armidale today so plenty of time to indulge in my third best past time.
( Eating Chocolate and going places with Mrs YOF being #1 and #2).
Parked very close to GZ and after a short walk it did not take long to find the cache. log signed and returned as and where found. TFTC Whitey Wiskas.

Decided to spend a few days in Tamworth with my geodog Scruffy, so we just had to get out and find some of the caches hidden in my old home town.

Had a reasonable search but the rain was getting heavier and I had left the umbrella in the car with Mrs C. Pulled the plug and hightailed it back to the car before I got too soaked.
Was intending to pick up some caches in Calala but missed the turn, so decided to mop up a few in South Tamworth before turning back. Quick find here at AELEC. Thanks Whitey
Found in the company of pprass.
Had to use a bit of stealth here as there were muggles sitting in front of their tent just a few metres way.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas.

Found at 9:35 AM GAFF3 in the company of NurseHayley.
Took a lot longer to locate even though the co-ords were spot on. Maybe it was due to the muggles sitting in their tents behind the fence or that we spotted a few decoys [:o)]
Thanks Whitey Wiskas.

Tamworth caching in Whitey Wiskers Country.
Today we headed towards Attunga before returning to cache inthe Tamworth Region.
A big variety of puzzle & traditional caches found in many different containers & locations.
Took us a few minutes to spot this one as it was not where the hint indicated. Replaced as per the hint.
Thanks for placing this cache Whitey Wiskas

Staying for a few days in Upper Hunter valley, and after today we wanted to explore more of the area than just vineyards, so we drove up to Tamworth, home of Aussie country music.
As we entered the town one of the first things we noticed was the massive AELEC horse centre. Of course such a spot is worthy of a cache which was quickly found.
Thanks for the cache.

Great co ords helps when you're trying to speed cache in the dark, thanks for this & all the others. Enjoyed our little Tamworth cache tour, only wish we had more time to find more.... there is never enough time.... tnsl tftc WW xo
Found at 1005. Our last day in Tamworth had an enjoyable couple of days geocaching around the a district. A quick find. As we were driving into Tamworth I wonder what this place was. Now I know. TFTC.
I assumed from a distance where we were going, I was wrong. When we arrived at the listed GZ we found the cache container laying on the ground so are hoping that we rreturned it to it's correct place. SL TFTC
We had a sneak peak inside the very impressive arena. Oh, found the cache too; SL; TFTC

After spending several months house sitting around the Central Coast, Sydney and Bateman's Bay it is time to head back to Queensland.
Day 2 of my drive northwards.
And I start with 2 DNF's.
As I have a bit of driving to do today I did not spent too much time searching for a green thing in a garden.

Searched for things that fitted the description, but couldn't find despite the size, even used gloves for more access without success, tftc will return in Jan for another look
MrG with a sore neck was sitting out the hunt so it was MrsG scratching around finding nothing and muttering some not so nice things about the CO. Eventually something more promising among the many things that fitted the hint was spotted. Sneaky hide, we like it! TFTC Whitey Wiskas.
This one hell of a shed nearby ... a few riding muggles about ,no problem,Like the cache Thanks Whitey Wiskas....+FP
Our first for today - had the grandkids with me who were excited after yesterday's hunting. A fairly easy find.

Perhaps the coordinates were out a bit. I have adjusted them. The cache is in the garden, not through the fence.
1 of 4 attempted geocaches this morning in the 15 minutes I had to race around this area before being picked up. I only got 3 as I ran out of time as I arrived at the 4th, this being that 4th. It was really busy here and plenty of horse trailers and horses were being brought in as I approached so I didn't really try. Thanks anyway.
Nice one Whitey, although the log had quite a few entry's dating back a few months - Yahoo FTF at 7am. TFTC. Well done
