Staying at Western Flora for a few days so found the cache on my last afternoon here before heading further north looking for orchids with friends. Some lovely donkey orchids nearby. I've left the container upside down as the previous person did, so the rain shouldn't get in the broken lid. Tftc
Found at 11:26 AM GAFF2.Took a few moments to find as the co-ords point to another very promising location which is clear that a lot of other cachers have searched in as well!Moved over a few metres and found the cache sitting there in a sad state. Thanks to KrabiBoy
Desperately needed to stretch the legs. Also gave me the opportunity to scope out Western Flora caravan park. Ttfc!
A nice straightforward find here this morning. Heading south still, the rains cleared from yesterday which is nice, and looking forward to sunshine again! Thanks for the cache!
Found as we turned into our accommodation for the next 2 nights. Park is a little run-down but nice and bushy and quaint old mud brick chalets.
Didnt look too hard for this one as it was over 35 today. Stay hydrated TFTC.
Of course we went the long way round to get thisTFTC KrabiBoy. Found on 18 Sep 2023 at 4:51 pm. Find # 2670
No nomads seen today. I found your D1.5/T1.5 Regular Traditional called Grey Nomads on 18 September 2023. It was find #18453 for me. Thank you KrabiBoy for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of Western Australia.
Hi there KrabiBoy. Heading home from Carnarvon and stopping for the night at the caravan park here. We found this cache at 0231pm after a short search - and the container and log are as mentioned below. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to KrabiBoy for this cache - our find 10541 and the 1st of 1 finds for the day.
FieldNotes: The container needs Maintenance (water ingress/cracked lid). The log was damp, but useable, so not replaced.

Had us wandering around for a but eventually found the right place, I'd dismissed that to begin with to focus elsewhere. Bit of water in the co tainer but log is dry in it's ziplock. Tftc
Half the team had to start heading east for their own medical appointments appointment while the other half stayed with their friends in Geraldton. I'm heading down south and had to pick up a few caches to break up the drive. I'm concentrating mainly on adventure labs, virtual's and earth caches as you don't have to worry about muggles as much but I'm also stopping for any that look like as though they maybe a quick find.
Travelling South along this road I'm feeling a little bit like a grey nomad so this was the ideal cache to stop it and stretch my legs. I let intuition get in the way of common sense and looked in the wrong place at first. I then read for the cache page and followed the GPSr for a nice quick find not far away. After signing the log I returned everything as it was.
Many thanks for or showing us this interesting location.

Driving a fellow geo cachers 4wd from dongara back to Brisbane after he passed away at work, thought I'd get some caches on the way back for him. TFTC
A trip from Mandurah to Geraldton with a few detours for LGAs. TFTC.
Quick grab. Cache was full of water but log is dry. All ok now.

Caching our way back to Perth from Geraldton. This was one of the caches we stopped at.
Quick park and grab here today. All was well! Cheers KrabiBoy!

Up at the Farm for Xmas - its a scorcher! 50 degrees on my car - this is what I call hard core caching! Glad it was a quick find! Merry Xmas!
Marble Bar to Baldivis with axell33. This cache does break up a long drive. We pulled up and started the search, being cautious of wrigglers we poked about with no luck. Just as we were about to give in, probably more due to travel weariness, axell33 found it! All is well here, the cache was returned and we were on our way again. Thanks for the cache here.
Caching our way home from Marble Bar we decided to head down the Brand for awhile and add a few smileys. We stopped at this one no really knowing what to expect. We searched for a while with help from a lot of locals with wings and thought we would have to log a DNF on this one. As luck would have it we tried a different spot nearby and sure enough there was the cache. We could see the running repairs the konggirls had carried out and thank you for that. We signed our name to your log and returned your cache to where we found it. Its always nice to do a welfare check on one that hasnt been found for awhile, i must say the container may need a look at or even replacing, but holding together for now. TFTC KrabiBoy and Team Pathfinder.
Looked high and low around a large area but could not find any trace of the cache!
Lots of rubbish in and around the bush however.
Lots of rubbish in and around the bush however.
The contents of this cache were scattered around the bush so we collected them up and repaired the box as well as we could with duct tape but unfortunately didn’t have a replacement. Log book was ruined so gaper a piece of paper in a new ziplock bag so should be dry for a while at least, placed back in black plastic bag. Removed TB to continue its journey
Found cache but contents scattered all over the bush. Will try to fix as staying in nearby park and if the rain lets up
Pulled over o way home and made a quick find. Container cracked from heat but bag is protecting it. Tftc
Quick grab as we headed to Geraldton. Med sistema is cracked so placed in heavy duty plastic bag. Will need replacing soon. Thanks Krabiboy.
Took: 2 x trackables

What a strange little place. Drove all the way in and out and grabbed the cache. TFTH!
Need new container and drop 2 TBs off.
Signed the log as EV and thanks for the cache and hide

Pulled over quickly on our way home from Geraldton TFTC KrabiBoy & Team Pathfinder
Mr’s T & Z fell asleep as we left Dongara so I parked up close to GZ and ran in and made the quick find.
2/2 for my days challenge and feeling good.
Thanks KrabiBoy maintained by Team Pathfinder for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 1742 for me.

A little time this afternoon to continue the search for lost Jewels. The mystery is getting real.
On my Retirement practice, heading north to warmer temperatures. What better than finding the occasional cache on the way.

Driving back to Perth after a camping weekend up in Kalbarri and had this cache marked as a handy stop off place to stretch the legs Was intending to stop here a little longer and have some lunch but it wasn't quite the parking area I envisioned it would be. No problems though, after pulling the car off the highway I found myself quite close to GZ. A few paces from the car and the cache was soon in hand As noted in previous logs the lid is broken, however the cache & contents are all dry. All ok here, thanks for placing and providing a break on my long journey. TFTC
Thanks for taking us here nice to stop. the lid was cracked and may need replacing in the future.
The wind blew us along nicely today as we went caching with ilook4geo. No problem finding this one and we are enjoying visiting this part of WA. Our last visit was in spring about 5 years ago in our pre caching days and this time the scenery is very different.
Thank you to KrabiBoy for adding to the caching game and for giving a reason to visit this part of our country again.

Out to do some more caching today, along with goingplaces2. Lovely day with a good find rate.

Leg breaking from long drive from Kununurra to Perth. Went around the spot and found it. TFTH
Wildflowers are very pretty along the highway at the moment. Bit of a tricky stop with a van in tow, but we managed. TFTC
Thanks to great organisation by PP2 & a Swift round of golf by PP1 we set off on our journey to Geraldton a lot earlier than I expected....yeah!
Fancy bumping into you two reprobates out here TFTC KrabiBoy

Great! This was our 200th cache and probably the last in Australia. I found it coincidentally after having a great stay in the nearby Western Flora Caravan Park.
On our way home from an Easter break in the Murchison our mission was to clean up another area on the map, happy to say we did just that here today TFTC
Camping trip up to Kalbarri. This one was found quickly on a short stop. tftc sl tnln
A trip from Shark Bay to Perth and not via the Indian Ocean Drive this time due to the long week and expected busy traffic. A chance for us to catch up on some caches along this road which for whatever reason we have not tackled before.
This was an easy find and a nice opportunity for some leg stretching.
TFTC KrabiBoy.

A quick stop on our trip down to Perth for the WA Goes Big Event 2017. The cache was quickly located next to a place which is well worth while spending a few days at, today we were in a hurry to get down south but will call in again one day soon.
thanks

Day 3 of the Geraldton trip for the IGD event held up there.
Again we started of a little late this time as I kept sleeping through my alarm. First for everything and a sign of the intense workload and Geocaching I have managed to fit into these last 2 weeks, over 600 caches, 450+ FTF, 2 events, 1600km to get all of this as well as working 2 50hr weeks.
Today's events had us clear a few more Urban caches as well as a great walk along the Chapman river, I really needed to wear shorts and gumboots as by the end of it the trainers and jeans I was wearing were saturated.
We then left for Perth around lunch and made a few finds on the way home.
It was a great weekend up in Geraldton with the deliberation in the car in the way home summing up the trip as we are suckers for punishment.
Each visit we get our worst DNF % on caches attempted, then clear previous DNF's from other years and end up saying by the end of it when are we coming back!
Again will see some of you at WA goes Big in Rockingham and possibly the rest of you at IGD in Gero next year!

Day three of our trip to Geraldton for international geocaching day 2017, our fourth time attending this event since it was first done in 2013.
We started early to tackle a number of hides in the chapman river series, which was a very pleasant stroll this morning despite the wet undergrowth which soaked both our boots! Some very cool geocaches around the trail which were most fun to complete, and a few DNFs too, it wouldn't be a caching day in Geraldton with some DNFs.
We finished up there and collected a few more caches around the burbs of Geraldton including some tree climbing. It was decided that we needed to start the journey back home this time
Via Brand Highway to collect all the caches that we've missed on previous travels.
We had one last Geraldton cache in Bootenal Springs which was a lovely walk through and exploring aboriginal heritage in the area.
We continued along brand Highway collecting a
Couple of caches in dongara and then continued on collecting cache after cache all the way towards regains ford before we packed up the caches and headed straight for home.
Overall a good weekends caching with around 70 finds over two pretty full on caching days. We've got some big plans to tackle the Indian Ocean drive caches in a couple of weeks that we always seem to miss on our trips to Geraldton, hopefully staying at Jurien bay or Green Head.
Was a bit of a frustrating trip with around 30 DNFs, a number of which haven't been found for some time. We had some bad co ordinates, not sure if it was us or the cache, but spent a lot of time expanding search areas to find caches. Look forward to coming back for next years IGD event to find a few more caches around these parts!
The highlight of the trip would be the caches along the Moresby Range. Highly recommended. Thanks to the local COs for their caches.
Thanks for another reason to stop Mr KrabiBoy

Since son is home on his work break to house/dog sit and we got the rare go ahead to go away so it looks like another mini geo road trip it is
Let Home at 5.15am this morning which wasn't too bad tho didn't think muggle had it in him
Easy find and made the trail in/out a little better otherwise think I would have 'kissed the ground' in nicer terms
TFTC
All good with cache and replaced as found

A week away from work and a trip to Steep point with my son.. A few caches along the journey north and return.. Sorry it has taken me awhile to log the caches. Getting very slack..
On our way to Geralton with Mistraluna, to have couple of days full of caching and good weather and fun. By this time of the day, the temperature was getting waaaaay warm, luckily I made a quick find here. Tftc
Headed off early this morning, trying to beat the early peak hour madness on the Kwinana Freeway. Who would have thought that it would be bumper to bumper, stop/start, all the way from south of Anketell right through Cockburn Central to Berrigan Drive at 6.15 in the morning? Crazy! Lots us people must be wetting their beds or something, lol.
Anyway, the plan was to pick up Eliktrisiti in Malaga and head northwards for a bit of a roadtrip. A little backtracking had to be done to pick up a recently solved ~Tango~ puzzle, then it was time to hit the road. Went up the Brand Highway for a change, zigzagging backwards and forwards as we continued northwards to Dongara and then Greenough to where we were staying. Grand adventure it was too.
This was one that we stopped for towards midday. No problems finding the cache either before heading into the nearby caravan park and grabbing an icecream. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache KrabiBoy.

Having to drive to Perth and back with a newly acquired bad back, I decided I would need a lot of stops along the way. Thank god for geocaching!! TFTC KrabiBoy
We are not quite Grey Nomads yet, rather 1 bald + 1 pretend blonde nearly nomads. But we managed to make it a bit further North to grab this cache. TFTC!
Yep think I just about qualify! But not doing the name stuff too much yet, the grey it correct! Maybe the CO will think I'm doing the nomad thing in April when we head to the Mega in Alice and then beyond!
Took a little while to find and we were starting to think a clean up may have happened, because lots of pruned branches on the side of the road, but m4yb made the find and signed the log.
Thanks KrabiBoy.
