TftcDetoured for bananas on the way up to Grafton so I thought I would grab another couple of caches while here. A nice easy find with a few swags for the kids here. With great views of the coast.
Tftc :]Very pretty spot, good alternative to watch the sunrise over the ocean rather than going up to Sealy. Left a bunch of swag
First for today and happy to say it was a quick easy find. Great views. Thanks
Thanks for the clear directions. Wish we had a clearer day for the view, but still spectacular. TFTC
Great views from here though the guy with the prime spot can't have thought so, he was asleep in his car. No worries about him seeing anything geo-related even if he did wake up, we blocked him off completely with our RV. TFTC Mystery Sleuth.
On the hunting trail with Liz & Bruce on 2024 New Years adventure. Quick find here. Another great day for caching. TFTC Mystery Sleuth
Thanks for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area.
A quick find with the needed vessel clearly visible from a long way off! T4TC:-)
Awesome spot with an awesome view, we sat here and enjoyed the views for a bit while the kids slept TFTC
A lovely view and the cache was an easy find. It’s a shame that where the cache is has become a dumping ground for garbage. TFTC
I've been up this way a few times. My son used to live in Coffs and I'd visit the vicinity of what is now a large pit at the highway intersection with him a number of times. I'm not sure why I'd passed a few of these caches by and we very nearly passed this one by again today as I wasn't paying attention. Clever hide and nice size. Thanks.
We were headed back into town after finding a few caches up at the lookout. We wanted to grab a bite to eat at the Jetty before out trip to South Solitary Island.
This was a quick park and grab on our way back down. Some nice views on the other side of the road!
Thanks again Mystery Sleuth!

Found with caching friends from Canberra. Thanks Geosnag one for spotting it first.
# 8724 Find day 6/20 the current souvenir season.
A quick find in the obvious place here.
Thanks Mystery Sleuth for the hide.

Nice views today. found while out on a country side drive. I've been up around here so many times without stopping, not sure why. The man down the road has great bananas and avos too. Tftc mystery sleuth

The view was much nicer on the way up than on the way back as the rain clouds had swallowed it up. Quick find here, but the cache is saturated again.
Thanks!
Thanks!
On the way back down from the lookouts, nice to have easy parking here.
Very generously sized cache however it was completely empty besides a single sheet of paper, which was wet. Could do with some maintenance.
Thanks for the cache

Found with Mrs BillHill, Staying at Coff's Harbour for the week doing some touristy things and some caches if time allows. found the large container OK, but there was nothing inside it. Signed a gum leaf and put in some paper to sign, with the nibble marks on the lid it won't stay dry for long.
Signed log and Cache replaced as found.
**Thanks For The Cache** Mystery Sleuth.
This is the 2nd cache of 12 for today making a grand total of 3347 at 10:41AM on this Wednesday the 10th of November in the Year 2021

It's Mother's Day, and we're here to celebrate with family, but the catch is that we really need todays date for our date-found grid, which would have been our last date needed, if it weren't for some pesky storms and a school excursion in March. So before our visitors arrived, we were allowed a couple of hours of caching time, so up the mountain we went.
A quick find here, the coords had us on the road, but the double stump was visible, and the cache right there. All dry inside, I tend to prefer other double-containering rather than a plastic bag, but it is keeping everything dry.... TFTC...

Our second full day in Coffs Harbour and we decided to hit the Butterfly House south of town - and after butterflies a maze and the dinosaur show we headed for a lookout or two northwest of town for some amazing views and a pleasant walk along a good track.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Stopped here on the way back down the mountain.
Really? A Coles bag?
Sigh. No attempt at camo here, clearly. I assume the container leaks. All good there today, though.
Completed signing duties and replaced, then off down the road.

We both thought that the view from here was maybe better than the previous site. Thanks for the cache.
Cache is in a lovely peaceful location ideal for a cache not far from gorgeous views you can appreciate before or after the cache. Unfortunately the cache was found 3/4 full of water with the contents slimes and saturated. We cleaned it all up and removed the nasty swag. Placed a new log in a ziplock bag with a pencil with a pathtag. We then placed the whole cache in a shopping bag to help it avoid getting full of water again which will have to do just for now. CO needs to do a maintenance run and replace the container with a waterproof one. Cache replaced with the original stone and some bark.
Thanks for making sure we stopped to admire the view in a location along the road where it is safe to stop.
Cheers!

Beautiful place to bring my new caching friend took nothing, left disney princess and travel bug M40YGH
Pretty confident we found the right place as described in the clue, but no sign of a container ️
I am pretty sure that this one is missing, don't ask me how though, maybe someone observed the last cacher, but generally you wouldn't think anyone would come here. But no sizeable container anywhere around. All I found was a leech in my 10 minute search.
Thanks Mystery Sleuth for the cache. It’s #1212 for us. We found your cache on 18 February 2020. Quick find on the way down the hill.
As we drove up the hill and passed the spot I thought wow that is going to be some spot to pull off, coming down, oh no lots of muggles but wait, lets go they can't see us. Grabbed the cache, signed and then went across for a lot of pics. Another fav from me, got to bring hubbie up here for a look. TFTC
After attending the event in Coffs the afternoon before we are spending the day caching both in and around the area as well as a bit further north. Found an interesting variety of caches and did have just a few DNFs. Thanks to all the COs for enhancing our visit to the area.
Found on a very smokey day when we could not see the coast. Topped up the cache with lots of swag.

A very nice quick and easy park and grab. A nice reward following our 5.5 km grade 5 walk on the so called end peak trail. Lots of steep ups and downs, but the rainforest was magnificent.
