Logs
Nice quick find here today Thanks for the placement and the smiley. Alot of the caches on this trail have wet logs and in bad need of new containers
I decided to come and cycle around the tracks here and target the caches along. Unfortunately, many of them were in a sad state with wet logs, and a few missing. They would benefit from a CO maintenance run/cycle. I really enjoyed the ride!! TFTC!
Was down here a month ago and did the upper half of the tracks. Today in the drizzle and 6c temp I'll do the rest. Just one dnf today. Had to give up writing in a few as my hand got colder, wetter, and very dirty!
We are staying at the Top 10 camp so it was nice to be able to get on our bikes and end up on this trail. This was a good reach. Cache is all good. TFTC
A nice bike ride along the track and when we got to this cache Sir Rick was already there with the cache in his hands. He signed the log then we did and Beeba returned the cache to its hiding place.
Short weekend camped up at Orari Racecourse. A chance to get some more caches.
Third of three today.
Third of three today.
Our first find for todays ride, was scared something was going to grab my hand haha
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.
Found with Fisha1288
Cheers, Cympull.

Found this cache we missed last time with 'Face of Beau'. More heads are better than one it seems! Tftc
2nd find today. Left our motor home card say hi if you see us around. Thanks
Found it. The log book was wet so 'The Womble's " put in a new bit of paper and a plastic bag. TFTC.
Walking the Orari River tracks between Vance and Bennett roads, grabbing a few caches on the way. The log is damp; TFTC
Mr rattll was a little fixated on the hint and didn't find it, but id done enough of this trail now to find without the hint.
Thanks for setting this up
Thanks for setting this up
Finally found the time to bike the track and get some catches! Found with Conbat and Rangit4t3. TFTC
Neat hint here but it was quite a stretch! More than an arm's length actually so I had to get up to find and sign it. TFTC # 17,570
Two out of four caches found today I needed help from the family. Credit for finding this one goes to Mr. 10.tftc
A reasonably feisty southerly gate-crashed our nice day, so on the way home we
stopped in the area for a brew, so we got the bikes off and grabbed a few nearby caches
Cheers and thanks,
S.t.

No problems with this one today. This side of the track is better to ride on than the other side of the river. tftc
Actual track not on our maps so located the car park due to your caches. Great morning for a ride. NINO TFTC
In Geraldine for the weekend with BCD and it was a beautiful first day of Spring so nothing like a little Sunday stroll to get a cache or two! A lovely walk along the MTB track while the kids rode ahead. Enjoyed smelling the blossom on the trees along the way and even had to bring out the sunscreen. Knew straight away where this one would be and it sure was TFTC BCD
There are gravel trucks along the road. Either dame one going in circles or all the same company. Thanks for the cache
The golfers must get annoyed by the dust from the road..got my share today lol tftcDCB
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on our weekend trip to Geraldine. We had been eyeing up these bike trail caches for a while and finally we have brought our bikes with us. The weather was perfect (maybe a little too hot at times) and we biked the Vance Rd to the Orari Bridge section of the trail. A few DNFs, and a few not looked for, but overall a successful day.
The second find of the day, but not an instant one. This is where we found that it paid to read the cache name . TFTC.

#16680. This one took longer than it should have. Got there in the end. TFTC.
It was time for a wander along the G.M.B.T today starting from the southeastern end.
After searching for a couple of minutes and finding nothing I re-read the title.
Cheers for the cache.

Was initially planning a trip to Geraldine tomorrow (Sunday) to bike the river trails but forecast rain made me come today (Saturday). Frosty morning but a lovely sunny day. Bit late leaving home but all good. Will see how many I can find!
Bit of earthworks and tree felling in the area. Quite messy and muddy and a bit gross around and about. Cheers.

We’ve been planning to make a start on these GMBT caches for a while. We hunted for a while but couldn’t locate this one.
Day 9 - of our (The Seagnoid, Toby, Zara, & myself) epic adventure leaving Oamaru for Geraldine and the cycle trail today. Tobys at SH1 , and Zara at Main North Road. We are on Jack and Jill, with pedal power to the fore.
Snagged and tagged another one along our way. Cheers

Taybeedragon and I are cycling the trail and enjoying every minute of it. The weather gods turned on a nice day - an excellent day off from the rigours of heading home after a week's geofesting in Oamaru.
Up from Mosgiel on a caching binge in Geraldine. Nice easy find. Beautiful weather and a beautiful spot. TFTC
Glad not much can kill you in NZ, been blindly reaching into way too many dark places lately.
Mucky but just OK. It was sure buried and really needed that plastic bag. Thanks BCD we will return, when it is a little drier. Thanks.
This cache took a bit of hunting to find but once I looked at the name. .. Doh! Cheers
A good ride using both sides of the river. Had to go all the way down to State Highway 1 as the Orari was too high to cross.
It was time to do a bit of winter campervanning. Bbear44 was mad enough to join me. We took our bikes and headed into BCD country. Nice

Out for the weekend with my buddy Nosynel bike caching on lovely winters day. Enjoyed finding all the caches we did today.....some more than others lol. Thanks so much for placing them made for a fun day.
This was my first for the day. The caches were a good incentive to come and ride the tracks, although it turns out I well overestimated my ability to do them all in one day. It was an enjoyable ride, but I had had enough of caching by the end of it - you can certainly have too much of a good thing. Many containers were very wet, but thankfully those have been maintained. Coordinates were quite dodgy in places, hopefully the CO will fix some of those up. Thanks.
Took a wee while to handle this. Plenty of fresh dirt to dig through. Cheers.
A leave pass from Ms KR and Ms KM. Where do we go? Packed up bikes and bike >40k on the GMBT. Slightly stuffed at the end, but found most that we looked for, and a had a great day.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

The leave passes for Karma Reprint and myself matched up, so onto our bikes to attempt to clean up the series in one day. 42km and 12ish hours later it's mostly done. Time for the last leg of the day, starting it at the finish. We found this in the end, too ka bit of digging under fresh dirt to get our hands on it. Cheers
A fairly quick find on a short ride around the southern loop of G.M.T.B. The log is quite wet and a bit mouldy. The cache is of course micro not small. TFTC
