Made it just in time for the movie with the two kids after Little Aths. I was out ordering food and we just happened to win the biggest bucket geocache which we now have to hide. Adam (7) was super excited! Ha ha. I thought it was rigged but am assured we won it fair and square (it was the last prize - everyone took the smaller ones). Lol. Anyway food arrived just as the movie started which was perfect as the kids were quiet for the films as they munched on some chips. Another fab event - lots of chuckles and though I barely spoke to anyone it's always lovely to be in a room with like minded folk. Thanks McLookers for organising and Wozzle for the films. Fab caching community (oh and it happens to fill a calendar gap which is awesome)!

We made it, we loved it: Some fun films (not all great, we thought), great company, refreshing food, some tired but beautiful children, a birthday sing-song, trackables taken care of - a perfect end to a day's caching in Ballarat. Ahem, one more to go tonight as we have been able to obtain intelligence of the where-abouts of another multi that we tried earlier in the day but failed.

A great opportunity to get together for a chat before viewing all of the GIFF clips. There were a few very good ones. Thanks to everyone for coming along to make the night a great success.

This much anticipated event had finally arrived and I was disappointed. Laughed all the way through the entertaining Giffs.
I devoured a lovely meal and sat back to relax and chat with like minded geocachers.

Great film clips!

I had not intended to come up to Ballarat today but as the NGW 9Non Geocaching Wife) thought I should have been caching on such a great day I thought why not head out the door and grab just a few special caches that have been on my list for far too long.
As others have stated big thanks to the McLookers for organizing the event and to Wayne for providing the means for us to view the very good clips. I can relate to a lot of them and one happened to me today that I was not expecting, but that is another story.

Thank you Tania, ( & Tom), for organising & running this great event, also to wozzle for the technical "stuff". The films were mostly very good, providing much mirth, I recognised my caching "techniques" in a lot of clips that we laughed at. An excellent night, thank you again Tania.

I arrived a little late (I still have too many unfounds between Bordertown and here) but still got to see most of the films and say hello to a few people!

Thanks McLookers for providing a great venue for us to enjoy a meal and sit back and watch this years 16 finalist's films. We enjoyed most of them , some making us laugh more than others. Really enjoyed the Australian finalist this year...go Aussie go!

I am so pleased that I could attend this event again for this year. What a great turn up! Good food, good company and good entertainment. Thanks for organising.

Attended again this year, some interesting concept films shown which highlighted the ingenuity and imagination of geocachers. I particularly enjoyed the children's interpretation of what geocaching is. Thanks McLookers for organising another well attended event. Also thanks to the AV specialist Wozzle68.

Had a great time tonight at this event. We arrived early and the venue was already quite full, so we ordered a meal soon after arrival. (Normally we would wait for a few more friends to join us). Really enjoyed the GIFF movies, the company and the food. Thank you McLookers for organising yet again.

Thanks for a great night - my first big event and also 100 caches. Thanks for the gifts (will have to ask my mentor what I need to do with them), and thanks to all the friendly like-minded people.

Thanks for another wonderful event, glad we managed to make it in time for all the fun, was great to catch up with everyone, and share some laughs, Thanks McLookers.

A change in family commitments means we can now attend - whoopeee - lights - camera - action!

Unfortunately, we didn't manage to leave Brisbane as early as we would have liked and will not make it to Ballarat in time for this event ... we will miss seeing you again.

After meeting McLookers at an event in Sydney, and knowing that she is hosting this GIFF, I have to say a big shout out, and Gday from Sydney. and I hope that you all enjoy my video, 'Spitting the Dummy'

The film was an idea based on a true story of one of my own FTF's. with the name of the film being that of the actual Cache.
