After finding the other nearby one, I drove here and quickly found the cache - obviously what the other one was supposed to look like. Logbook signed and replaced as found. Tftc
While in the local area today we took the opportunity to find a few of the nearby caches.It was an interesting read about Gorman & Gravatt.Found this no problem and all was good with it.TFTC
Over visiting from NZ and using the time to do as much caching as other commitments allow. With the dodgy forecast today, I decided to concentrate on nearby areas and not go for long bush walks.Well, it was going to be local, until the lure of an FTF brought me 10 km across town, and with the rain more or less holding off, I decided that I should do a few more in this area.Nice quick find here of cache in good condition. 24/4/2024 Find #6986Today I had to drop my tent over to KBreeAHH ready for our weekend adventure. But I am also in need of a select few caches before said weekend. I had very limited time and this was at least in the direction of home so decided to make a quick stop. I found a spot to park the car and wandered over just as someone wandered away from near GZ. However I dont think he was a cacher, despite the fact he was also staring at his phone. He said hello and continued his way up the street so I wandered over and soon made my find. Thanks for the cache genyo.

With a couple of hours free tonight while the kids were all at dancing, I thought I would see if I could find a few caches. After having success with the first genyo cache, I drove around to this one. Another quick find here and I had to laugh at the way it was hidden. Snap! Thanks genyo for another great cache.
Clever cache. The gps was jumping around but found it by looking in the logical places.
We originally overshot the cache hide and checked elsewhere before turning around and spotting it. We were entertained by music playing loudly in the house next-door while we were here. Thanks genyo
A drive around Mt Gravatt today and I saw a couple of caches that may be easy finds. I parked up and walked over; I spied the cache very quickly. While there was no one around here at this time, I made a quick and discrete grab and sat down by the logs. I signed the log and returned as found, I do not think anyone saw me. Thank you for the cache and the hide, this fills in a grid spot for me for today, helps me with my continuation of challenge caches. All good with this cache.

While my daughter was doing a course at Mt Gravatt TAFE today, I decided to do some caching. Nice easy find. TFTC!
After grabbing another cache nearby I decided to come here next. I parked the car nearby and wandered over towards GZ. I had a quick look over a few things without much luck and tried another spot and the cache was in hand. Although I did sit down for a few minutes submitting a new poke stop before grabbing it.

Another quick one for the jester kiwi and the Princess. Another interesting history lesson.TFTC
TUFTC. Another smart but quick cache. If you weren't looking for it, you walk straight passed I think.
Today, jesswrigley and I needed to pop over to MacKenzie for an errand, and we then decided to use our new baby carrier in walking a section of Brisbane Koala Bushlands, picking up a few of the rabbit series (Rabbit Trap, Tricky Rabbit, Rat Plague, etc.).
After our long walk, Garden City Shopping Centre was our next stop where we had lunch and did some shopping, and then I decided to make my own way home, stopping at a few geocaches within the vicinity and around Mount Gravatt. I did manage to get a find a few more oldies from Mimosa Creek's geocaches, with M1 certainly being quite the adventure.
My last drive around the area to grab two *Moreton Bay* series traditional caches, of which this was one of those. This was my final cache find for the day, and this cache was a reasonably quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and I really liked this attachment mechanism with the logbook. Thanks genyo for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
