In the area for some Caching fun with Rebel Acts, it was great to be back in a area I haven't cached for ages.
Watch out for the spider near this one.
Cheers for the cache.

A great day out with Omegaman1971, Our trip last weekend got canceled due to the five day lock down so we were glad we could get out again this weekend, we had a great day out exploring new areas.
This is one of the caches we found on our travels.

Decided to do some geocaching whilst we waited for our cars to be serviced at Honda this morning. Hubby walked up the steep incline as I kept watch for muggles. Easy find, TFTC
Kato Potato and I had booked accommodation in Mill Park for the Whittlesea MEGA event.....non-refundable accommodation which thankfully opened up to us regional Victorians this very week. Despite not being able to attend the now-cancelled MEGA, we got back in the saddle of geocaching and realised how much we'd missed it in 2020.
We started on this mini trail here and were a bit freaked out by evidence of a nearby muggle who could not be seen. Ended well though. TFTC Ron.haha

After a particularly long caching hiatus thanks to COVID-19, Mummy Short Legs and I finally got to hit the road again for our annual caching weekend away. This weekend was originally planned to be celebrated with the nearby Mega event, cancelled for obvious reasons. We still had an accommodation booking though and thought waste not, want not! A great weekend away and an opportunity to just enjoy the area.
Cache number 31 for the weekend thus far and I can't say I have ever been this side of the tinted view! Nice quick find, sign and replace. We were slightly put out by the kids bike at the bottom of our descent that didn't seem to have a kid nearby, but then he appeared from up the path further, rather than from the bushes behind us! TFTC Ron.haha.

A tricky cache had me thinking it was hidden somewhere that it wasn’t. After a bit more searching the cache was located, signed and returned. Thanks for the cache Ron.haha.
I have found the location but the item has been pushed through onto the highway I think
I have found the location but I think it has been pushed through on to the M80 Ring Road
Almost gave up. Thanks for the help teamd But got a good view of the m80s quiet traffic. TFTC
A Newby at this so was not sure as to what to look for.... thanks for your comments and photos... it helped us find it in 15 min rather then 60 ... Great View
Thanks Ron.haha for offering up this different view of the world. Easy find (thankfully)... and back on the bike. TFTC and for all these fun caches you have placed along the M80 trail.
Walking through the track some more
I started over thinking it. But when every possible outcome was exhausted. My logical brain kicked in
Good one
Well played

Some very wonky GPS meant I covered more of the area than anticipated but pretty straightforward other than that. Tftc!
Found with +Wife.
We waited for a muggle to pass by and then went up to GZ.
An easy find as we watched the traffic whiz by.
Thanks for the cache Ron.haha

I found it - the hardest part was avoiding the muggles who kept driving past! TFTC Ron.haha
Found @13:30 after checking the coast was clear and once again climbing the embankment. I like the ones that are hiding in plain sight. TFTC!
I have driven along where a few times as I have relatives in Eltham. I have always wondered what was behind these colorful barriers. Now I know, there are caches.
Find #4844
SirJ-Oz needed some help with his target of finds for the year (and I’m always happy to give him a push) and this was my only free weekend day in December. So what else to do but get the band back together and hit the road/pavement/park to tackle sharkiefan’s handbag series. Once those were done we dropped LouiseAnn home and decided to carry on to grab a few more on the north side of town. We spotted this little series along the freeway and decided to park at Tasman Drive and walk out west to start. This was our fifth stop along here as we arrived back close to where we had left the car. Another tricky hide with some neat camo and after trying a few red herrings I was pleased to spot it. My 42nd find of 46 on a fun day of caching. Thanks for this series and the cache Ron.haha.

Find #3944. Found @ 17:18 with Annoying Tarbit.
My self-appointed challenge for the year was to get 1000 finds for the year, and I've fallen behind in that. To get me closer, the plan for today was partially about the numbers, partially about knocking off a recent handbag geo-art, but mostly about a fun day of caching with LouiseAnn and Annoying Tarbit. Lots of laughs, silliness, and general mucking around.
We'd finished the handbags, and returned LouiseAnn back home, but Annoying Tarbit and I continued on to some of the M80 series. The path was not highly utilised, and we only saw 3 cyclists, 2 walkers, and 1 jogger on our trip of over an hour.
We were almost back to where we parked the car, and Annoying Tarbit made the find of a place that I'd looked at, but not seen.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Ron.haha

Out caching with the youngest on his scooter today. Plenty of fun had as we travelled along a mostly deserted trail finding the caches and observing the traffic. Ahh.. it's good when you can take it slow.
It was indeed a tinted view! If I see anyone here when I'm passing I'll know exactly what they're up to.

The M80 was moving freely through the tinted windows whilst I scraped away leaf litter and cobwebs to find the small cache.
All well here.
Thanks
All well here.

Magnet is gone and thus the container now rests against a surface.
In need of a decently long walk I chose the Metropolitan Ring path given the number of caches that were available along a fairly decent length. All were found bar the very last which has had a number of DNFs.
Thanks for providing the entertainment for my exercise Ron.haha.

I managed to climb the hill to the cache during a break in the stream of cyclists and pedestrians.

Curious what the people driving past think we're doing there.
Anyway, thanks Ron.haha

Being a sunny day & new to geocaching, I took the opportunity to get out and make some finds. I run this path regularly and know it very well, so it was fun to find caches that have been under my nose for years!

I had been in Bundoora for an appointment and after I had finished I thought it was such a wonderful sunny afternoon that I would hunt out a few caches in an area I don't get to too often. I was back at Tasman Drive where my car was so I decided to look out this cache as my last for the day. It took me a little while to find but I got it once I disturbed a little leaf litter...
Thanks **Ron.haha** for putting this cache here.

With another day off to keep my annual leave days low so as to be given bonus holidays I headed out on the bike in the perfect overcast weather so no sun screen was required. I had never been over this area of the city and was keen to check out this bushland and it's surrounds. Much steeper than I expected in some locations but some cool caches were found. It was awesome on Monday with virtually no muggles where ever I went compared to sometimes on the weekends when it is crazy.
After a ride around the bush for a little while I headed for a more leisurely ride along the side of the M80. This one took me a few minutes after I initially missed the hide. I think I look a lot yellower now after the sun was shining on me through the wall.
Thanks Ron.haha for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Found after a quick search at GZ. Had to evict a few ant squatters though. TFTC.
It is a long weekend and a sunny day...what better excuses do I need to get the bike out and grab a few caches.
I have been eyeing up the M80 trail for a while and today was a perfect opportunity.
Caching by bike is great to get you between GZs but when you have to search up a hill what do you do with it...drag it up?...leave it (looking abandoned) by the side of the trail? I always opt of the hybrid by leaving it half way up (or down depending on your outlook).
At the GZ I had a fair idea what the hide could be and for once was correct in my assumption. TFTC.
This was my turnaround point for today. It took a moment or two of searching but Upoj was quite insistent on where GZ was and sure enough, I finally had the stash in hand at 11:30 after checking the spot for a second time.
TNLNSL, although a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks again Ron.haha.
