Well November has come around once again before it gets too hot, that means off on a camping trip chasing Yellow Faces . Lucky enough to find several but have encountered a couple Blue Faces .Either way the experience has been rewarding due to the Geocache locations and the early summer days in the high teens & low to mid 20s.Many thanks go out to all the COs and the maintenance crews around the remote and country regions that make travelling more enjoyable.TFTC
Today's caching was around Minlaton with some of the Gone Fishn' and the CRAB series, as well as others along the way. Also did the Salt Lake and the Water Towers adventure labs, which was very enjoyable drive around. TFTC
Quick find, on our way home to Tiddy Widdy Beach, after a day of exploring the coast
Making my way to the top of the trail to finish. Just having an easy day caching.
A Chance for a Monday Meander.
Ttrogg and Brisal5 picked up A SA sewer Rat, from the Rat's nest.
Then we headed over to the Yorkes.
This a quick stop on our way to coobowie.
A lovely touch of the past. Tftc

Another Monday Meander, and again it was over to the Yorke Peninsula. Headed up to the Rat's nest with a Starfish and then we all went west with a very special cache in mind. But of course there were others that would need to be found as well. All caches that were found, bar one, were caches that none of us had found. An enjoyable and successful day was had, and to add icing to the cake, three FTFs were achieved.
Thanks earthlight for putting out this cache for us all to find.
Cache #12999 for me.

I got an offer I couldn't refuse from Ttrogg. He wanted to be the oldest cacher to do a certain free dive cache over on YP but wanted a few rescuers on hand in case of trouble. I also had face masks and he borrowed a weight belt from Freddo. S.A. Sewer Rats made up the last piece of the crew. Low tide was not until the afternoon so we were able to stop and find a few caches on the way to the target cache. Once the target cache was done Ttrogg's love of FTFs kicked in and it was a quick tour of 'The Foot' to grabs some FTFs as well. Hoot man. [8)]
Love finding these old relics of our past. Finding the cache was a bonus.

Up early today but had a more leisurely morning than yesterday. A bit of a coastal walk and the. Down to Marion Bay. Needed to find a cache on its 9th birthday for a challenge I am working towards. Picked up a few others there to make the drive worth while.
Then finished the geoart did a little happy dance. Huge thank you to the team behind fishy tails really appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining such a mega series for all to enjoy. It’s taken me over 5 years to complete.
After the geoart was done picked up a few AL and meandered my way home. Still so many places to visit always love a trip to the YP.
Quick find and sign here TFTC

Decided to invite a muggle friend along for a day trip around the Yorke Peninsula, to introduce him to caching and show him the area.
However, as I am the full addict and he is not, I only found half the ones I wanted to. Deciding to find caches in different towns across the Yorke, rather then more caches in a select few towns.
After setting off bright and early we ended up visiting Port Clinton, Price, James Well, Sheaoak Flat, Port Vincent, Stansbury, Minlaton, Port Victoria, Maitland, Authurton, Cunliffe and Moonta.
A successful day, with 22 finds for the day from 12 different CO's.
A very interesting site indeed. Goldy appreciates a good history lesson. Thanks for bringing me here.
Thanks earthlight & the X-Trailers for the cache.
This cache brings Goldy's find count to 1412.

A quick overnight trip to the Yorkes for 1.5 days of solid caching. I did a bit of the geoart by myself before meeting up with Davidwazza for a majority of the day caching around Innes National Park. With an event in the evening in Edithburgh headed over there before going for a nice walk along the water front for the evening. Day 2 I made my way from Edithburgh along the coast line and back home by lunch time. A total of 169 caches for the trip.
Thanks for the cache

A long weekend with a massive amount of geocache finds in the Yorke Peninsula! The weekend was filled with a loong day of the fishing line power trail, followed by a subsequent day of the geoart at the peninsula bottom. I managed to squeeze in a night scuba dive, and then it was a slow return home finding a few geocaches on the way. An unexpected enjoyable weekend than what I thought it would be, with great company from locals Munja and skuzzybear, and visiting Kiwis mar1sa and the Seagnoid.
The original plan for today was to continue/complete the geoart at the bottom of Yorkes, but I think everyone had had enough with the monotony of getting in/out of cars with little scenery and ongoing repetition, that we decided to take it slowly back up the peninsula. It was an early-ish start from 8:00 hr, as we wanted to beat the crowds back heading home from the long weekend. Geocaches were collected along the main coastal road (or just off it), with a small detour visiting Black Point to collect those caches and having a FTF. I then said goodbye to the team as I drove skuzzybear back to her car in Kadina, and then collected a few strategic oldie caches on the return back to Adelaide. Unfortunately I was waiting in heavy traffic for a duration of 30 min at the dreaded Port Wakefield turn-off due to the time spent in the morning collecting caches, but otherwise, the return drive back went without incident. The weather was kind to us with an enjoyable morning, and then raining (and cleaning!) my car once I had arrived home.
Some interesting ruins here. This cache didn't take long to find once at GZ. The container and logbook appeared to be in good shape. Thanks [@earthlight](http://coord.info/PR39X1P) and The X-Trailers for the placement and subsequent maintenance.

making our way back to the city, grabbing what we are able to on the way, thanks for the placement, greetings from NZ either signed as KAA or mar1sa.
The end of the Kiwis and Aussies trip on the York Peninsula had finally come to an end and rising early we began to make our way back to Adelaide. Like any good caching trip, we slowly cached our way home. Despite the greying weather it was a good drive back home, with traffic not presenting us with too much of a problem. An enjoyable and relaxing way to finish what was a fantastic trip. All logs were signed as KaA (Kiwis and Aussies).

Took a while to find this one. Took a girl look actually, as the seagnoids eyes were obviously not up to it. Then went across the road to check out the archived cache. Its last log was a find. But no, it's not there. I think celebrating this ruin is a much better reason for a cache.
After spending the night in Stansbury after a couple of over-the-top days in the Yorke Peninsula targeting the geoart, Team KAA are heading north - the rush is on! To relieve a cache of its empty logbookness. Thank goodness for the cooler weather! That 42 degrees we had earlier was just too much.
Team KAA are Skuzzybear, the Seagnoid, Munja, Mar1sa, David and Kris.

Huge weekend with heaps of finds on the Yorke Peninsula! Loooong day on fishing line followed by geoart, A planned weekend with great company- Munja and Davewazza and Kiwis mar1sa and the Seagnoid.
Tried to complete as much of the geoart as possible, and not under time pressure for as yesterday. WE started later then completed Fishy Tales (FT), Fish, Jellyfish, Sally Starfish, and Sammy Starfish and the straggling caches from the Anchor. We had a great dinner in Yorketown.
Spectacular scenery along the coast great and replacement containers almost finished. A number of sections did need attention so we did what we could to keep the caches viable. most were brittle/cracked with wet logbooks, and animal damage animals. Caches signed as KaA (Kiwis and Aussies). TYFTC SLTNLN amazing effort

On holidays in Adelaide from Melbourne, visiting relies for the weekend, today we checked out of our holiday accomodation and set off for Marion Bay for a few days. On the way we decided to find some caches, this being one of them. We wound our way slowly down the coast stopping off to find various caches. We absolutely loved this building and took a few photos. Cache was easily found. TFTC earth light and The X-Trailers - GJMMelb
Although it was a cold day, we enjoyed discovering some of the YP. We did a little WTY and a little Fishn' and occasionally got distracted.

Our I-pad took us to the wrong side of the road but we had to get it as it was first for the day. Kutgw
A huge weekend of geocaching with Mary from Aussie M & M. We got ourselves a lovely little cottage in Kadina and made this our base. So many caches and so little time we had to target certain ones that we felt were special enough to get a visit. As per normal we fixed any that needed some love so other could find them after us.
Thanks to earthlight from mogni

Well, what a weekend! The FFLL ladies and myself decided to head over to SA to tackle the newest installment of the Fishy Tales caches, the Gone Fishin' series. Having a long weekend presented to us, and a day extra, we had a big task at hand to get them all done, but we did! There were many tears of laughter, exhausted bodies each night, and plenty of caches found. We even managed to score ourselves a few Earthcaches, Virtuals and even Webcams along the way as well as me passing my 10,000 find
Time to make our way towards our accommodation in Port Vincent, collected a couple caches along the way.
Thanks for the cache hide earthlight and a very special thanks to the FFLL ladies for an awesome fun filled adventure away Looking forward to the next adventure.

With a long weekend coming up we decided to make it an extra-long weekend and hatched a plan with Rapidlywild to attack YP in SA again. It has been 4 years since we were last here so a few new caches/trails have come out since then. On our list was the Gone Fishn' trail as well as the 60 trail, Magical Unicorn and PSA as well as collecting random ones as well along the way.
Getting the "blurry eye" out of Canberra Friday morning we arrived in SA around 7.30am and the geo-mission began.
After finishing the PSA and Magical Unicorn series it was time to head to the accommodation for a well deserved rest. Found the container quickly.

After a day yesterday completing another section of the Gone Fishn' series we decided today to concentrate on those inland caches that we hadn't found. [^]
We started at Minlaton, then went over to Stansbury and had a successful day finding 30 caches with no DNF's.
I love stopping off at these old buildings and ruins wondering what they were like in their heyday.
Thanks for the cache earthlight and The X-Trailers.
