I haven't forgotten this one. I have a new container ready to. I just have to wait until I get out of isolation to reinstate the cache.
Due to the recent flood event in the area, I am disabling this cache as a sign of respect for the residents of the street and until the clean up in the area has been completed. At this point in time, the park is very wet and has debris, as does the the full length of the footpaths.
Once the area has been cleaned up and dried out, I will replace the cache and re-activate it.

Went for a walk with a friend to find the cache. After a dnf on this one with a family member (that I didn’t log) I was pretty happy to find it! Tftc!
This afternoon, I travelled to Sandgate and visited a few new challenge caches that had arisen from my previous visit, and I took the opportunity to find a few more monsters of *Monster Lane* along some of the bike tracks and walking paths in the area. It was also a good opportunity to visit the next waypoint of Wherigo [HAND](https://coord.info/GC5XXXJ).
Sorry to hear about the CO's pop, but it is nice to have a memorial plaque here. I began searching where I thought the coordinates were taking me, and when that wasn't too successful, I checked a few previous logs and photos, which took me to another likely cache hiding area. Once I was in that correct area, the cache was a reasonably quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and noting that this cache's size is more micro than small-sized. Thanks Glam78 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Okay, went and sat and thought this one through.
Looked and looked. Sat back down to read the clues, and of course, that was the inspiration to find it. Cache is in good condition after all of the elements of late.
Thanks for bringing me to this special little park on a nice sunny day!

Second time looking and found it this time as we are more experienced now.
This was our lucky number 20!

The last day of my Christmas break. I thought I would take a leisurely drive north to Sandgate and collect a few caches on the way. I knew Clem Masters - indeed I often go boating on a friends boat that was built by him.
This one took me a while to find. Mostly because I didn't expect to have to search on playground equipment. Sorry Glam, but not really a fan of the hide, Middle age men loitering alone around playgrounds are not warmly received.

There was nostalgia in the air when finding this one today.
For a time as a child I lived nearby with my Aunt and Uncle. Happy memories indeed.
This was found very easily due to a previous cacher leaving a spoiler.
Thanks Glam78

Now, this is the sort of cache where it’s very beneficial to possess small children – which we didn’t today, but luckily there were no people around and the four of us made for good camouflage anyway. We first checked an area a few metres away, which seem to more logical spot, but were soon alerted to the correct location by one of the previous logs. With that information, it wasn’t long before DisSister spotted the small geocache, a bit smaller than we anticipated, and now it’s off home for a well-deserved rest.TFTC, Glam78. =^.^=
This was the Final cache for the day for us. My GPS had me heading for a particular item whilst my companion searched elsewhere. I was a little slow in finding it and it took one of my companions to make the find in my search area. How embarrassing. TFTC
We did have Junior DisSister with us who did appreciate parts of the playground even though he’s probably 15 years older than who it is actually designed for. Always good to have children along when searching areas like this! TFTC Glam78
Decided to head up to Sandgate & track down georode's latest offering in the AdLab stakes & to pick up a few Trads, solved puzzle caches &
challenges along the way that have been waiting far too long on our list.
Great little park but just a tad wet today.
A nice quick find with no-one about.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

For me a pretty hard time but in the end I looked at the other peoples that found it and took nots and eventually found it great hiding spot.
Sorry about your pop.
Sorry about your pop.
Out today to continue on my personal challenge and as I finished work early I decided to head over to Boondall way to collect a couple over there. Saw this one had just been replaced and thought I should grab it now before it goes missing again.
There is something that bothers me about playground parks and caches hidden in the area, it is just you never know who is watching. But today there was no one around and I had free run of the swings, lol.
I walked around waiting for the gps to settle and then I moved in to make the grab. A quick feel around and I had the cache in hand. A nice new cache and a nice new log, now my name was in it. I replaced the cache as found and then moved on to my next target in the area.
Thanks for the cache and maintaining it for us to enjoy.

After a number of DNF's I discovered the GZ has had some maintenance done on it and the cache had disappeared.
Cache has now been replaced.
Cache has now been replaced.
Think this one might be gone everyone. Had a look where it should be, and no sign of it sorry…
All the hints and clues led us to the one place but no sign of it and with two previous DNF not confident it is still here.
DNF looked in the spot the clues were talking about and other spots within the area and could not find it.
Took a little while for us to find as we are first time geocachers! A nice man stopped to help, he must see people come all the time
The park was empty. walked straight up to it.
Signed and returned before spotting anyone in the park
Thank you for this cache

Thanks for the cache and taking us here Clan-Mess. Quick easy find while we're in the area.
A quick find with a flaky compass...glad there r no kids about, a lone male cacher meets only accusatory looks with cahes in play areasAnyway, T4TC & the info about your Pop
4 years ago I came to look for this cache and I was chased away my a swooping magpie.
I returned today, aware that it was not swooping season, and I was not troubled by birds or muggles. It took me a while to spot the cache ( looked in the right spot three times before I spotted it).
Thanks for the family history and placing this great tribute to Pop.

What a great little find ! Very clever! My tip with no spoilers, make sure you read the story, Syd’s life has a huge hint thanks for allowing us to have some fun !
This was my first find ever! It’s a tricky but amazing cache! Great way to honour a memory
Had to wait for a muggle to depart before head in to look for the cache.
Found on a warm Sunday afternoon

Nice quickie today to keep the streak alive. With rain threatening and a geokid home from school sick I wasn’t sure I’d get a cache today. Thankfully I’d left this one for a rainy day - and today was it.
Cool little park. Lots of space to run around and some of the geokid’s favourite playground equipment. Wonder what’s going on with the big boats in the backyard?
Geokid found the cache quickly and I signed the log and dashed back to the car just as the first drops of rain started falling. Great timing.
Thanks for taking us here and RIP to your Pop.

Thank you. If it hadn’t been raining we would have sat on the seat and we thoroughly enjoyed searching around for it.
Thanks so much. I enjoyed finding this Geocache and I sat on the bench dedicated to pop.
Found while in the area. I am glad that there were no muggles around today especially around the playground.

Luckily I had Capt Vimes with me to add an air of officialness to proceedings. Otherwise I would have been very uncomfortable looking about in this location. Thanks Syd for the comfy seat from which to log
Thanks for the cache Clan-Mess. This was find #4291.

Taking a stroll through the city - sat and watched the toffs arguing about who’s horse had right of way. Just another day.
Rocking spot! Took me several minutes to figure it out. Loved the story to go along with this cache. TFTC
We used to always come to this park when we were little as we used to live two streets away. So we decide to come and find this one as a family.
Love the park if the geokids with me wouldn’t be leaving here so quickly LOL TFTC
Argh! Forgot my pencil but left a treasure for the next geokid! What a lovely park on a sunny spring morning! Thanks for the cache
