I don't think I have been this far up Plain Road before, I remember doing a cache closer to the main road some years ago. This was a nice quick find thanks to the recent maintenance carried out by andy.gail.Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley
A day caching over in Golden Bay, slowly picking off caches left from previous visits. A stunning day, caches found, maintenance completed and caches put down.Arrived at GZ and cache not at hint item. Searched around the area and found cache about 2 metres away in the gorse/blackberry. Retrieved and replaced at Hint item covered with rocks. All good here.TFTC bumandworker#9875
Dont think this one is in place. We had a good hunt around following the description but no luck.
Found with Tregearp on our way up to park and walk into the gold fields. Sadly the weather turned out tp be too wet. We drove in the access road a fair way, but it was hosing down and we we worried that at the only place we could park, that we might not get out later on. Another time. We go this one though. All in good order, and thanks for the cache.

Interesting name for a road. Big signs about the access road being closed, but the cache was in good order. TFTC!!
A quick easy find as it was lying in the open. We replaced the sodden log with a small waterproof sheet and replaced the cache in what seemed the logical position, with the traditional rock on top. TFTC
#20064. Having a couple of caches down this road made a side trip worthwhile. This was the second find of two, and it was a much quicker find than the first. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on a day trip from Takaka to Pupu Springs and, later, Collingwood, on a beautiful autumn day.
The second of two caches found on this short detour en route to Collingwood. The cache was a quick find, managed to just get our names on the wet log book. TFTC.

Z11 eagerly jumped out of the truck to find this cache too.

Yep, a very plain road but definitely worth driving all the way along - - - especially as there is a cache at the end. Thanks .
I am being taxi Mum for my son and daughter in law for the Heaphy Track and finding a few geocaches. Today's pick up day. I have until 2pm to geocache until my heart's content. I stayed in Takaka today and will drive over the hill with the kids to Nelson. Thanks bumandworker for creating this hide. It was find 9691 for me.

Found today with woolwood9 on a very enjoyable geocaching holiday.SL *tm/ww NZ*Thanks for putting this cache out to give us the reason to visit!
A nice quick find thanks.
Found as we explored more of Golden Bay. A great day for it, fairly quiet on the roads and on the walks.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Went to Collingwood for an ice cream and decided to take the long way back to Patons Rock. Grabbed a few caches on a loop and headed home with a few smilies. Quick PnG.
Thanks for the cache bumandworker.

This road is living up to its name, so it's a good job there are some caches around to break up the drive.
Quick find once common sense was applied.
Thanks

I have set myself a challenge for this year to have at least the same number of caches on each day of my calender as the number of years I have been caching.
Today the target is four but I just might go over that number.
Cheers for the cache.

No-one but these two locals taking the shortcut today .. Easy find, Thanks for the hide
Absolutely no dust today as the recent rain had wetted it all down. Nice quick find here. TFTC # 10,664
Today was a day to head over the hills and far away and find a few caches in Golden Bay. Drove a few metres past the cache, pulled over and walked back. Found cache in the first place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
The towel came in handy again for this cache. I swished it like a cloak over the gorse and grabbed the cache. TFTC.
While Hazedraus turned the car I got out to look for the cache which I spotted immediately. It took longer to grab it due to dry blackberry protecting it from every angle but that's never stopped us so the log was duly signed and we headed off to the next cache.
Thank you bumandworker.
Thank you bumandworker.
The cache was well protected but no match for our determination to sign that log. Thank you bumandworker
Last one for the day as I eye up this possible entry point for a couple of new caches in the hills nearby.

This was on Mrs SoBad's probable list for tomorrow - until threatening rain aborted a planned walk. We were held up by stock crossing the road but not at the cache site. We then did a U turn and headed back towards Collingwood. May be out this way again tomorrow - plans are fluid as they should be in the Bay.
Thanks.
Thanks.
FTF! With 10 new caches on offer and a beautiful Golden Bay day this was definitely the place to be. I had to leave the armco cache when the farmer appeared in the distance so popped along for an easy find here. Plain Road has always been a favourite short cut of mine.
Thanks bumandworker for the cache.
