Logs
I have been wondering about Nick for a while, until I said it out loud, duh... Nice hide, TFTC!!
Container is a micro with orange screw top and not a regular size. Removed old damp unwriteable log. Glad to remove this from my DNF list. Cheers. Logged with c:geo.
We are visiting from Tauranga and what better way to explore Timaru on our bikes? Great trails, busy today too. Cache log was really wet and unusable so we replaced it with a new page of waterproof paper. TFTC
Enjoyed my 2 hour wander about the walkways. Parked by the big walk bridge and off I went.
It is now a micro cache.

Short stroll to collect. Wasps quite active this morning bu no problem. Thanks for the cache. Nice hiding spot
Great spot and nice walk, beware of wasp nest near by if you are allergic but TFTC
Found this, nice and easy, in and out before someone catches me. Thanks for the cache.
Cool spot! Disappointing because hinge broken, we also put in more paper. Cool though, easy find
Another good find going from cache to cache with woolwood9.SL: tm/ww NZThanks for putting this out for us to visit, we enjoyed the drive / walk around!
This was our first cache on our walk to the Saltwater Creek. A clever hiding place: You cannot be overrun by cyclists .
Thank you for the extra motivation to walk this beautiful path!
Paddelhannes + Kanuirm from Bavaria, Germany

Awesome container! Log needs replacing though just about disintegrated. On a bike ride!
Another superb container. Have enjoyed these on my drizzly walk around the park. Will be back soon for a go at my dnf's.
In Timaru for an overnights family adventure - the main aim being to bike around Centennial Park.....Great fun, boys loved it. Whilst they had a hoon around the cycle track/jumps I ducked further along the track to this gz. Quick find and sign. Another nice cache. Cheers.
A quick and easy find, once the dog walkers had moved on. Cheers
Heading to Timaru for the weekend, there have been a few new caches published off the beaten track since we were last down this way.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Out with one of my granddaughters, Redco5, today as we make our way up to Christchurch.
She had a couple of TBs to place and we thought that this cache would be suitable as it said that it is a regular size. Yeah right!
Cheers for the cache.

Walked in from Coonoor Rd and this tome successful in locating the cache. Neat container. TFTC
After the DNF's I checked cache. Still there. Updated clue. Should be super easy now.
I was intending to have an enjoyable cyclocache ride up the Salt Water Creek Walkway to Centennial Park. Once at GZ I fortunately decided to check previous logs. What, this one is possibly in place? The hints didn't make much sense, particularly the one dated 22/6/2017, referencing a poplar tree - there isn't a poplar tree at GZ.
Another one of my DNFs today. Worst day for this for ages. I parked near the oval, stepped over the low fence, scrambled over the tall gate and down the other side to near the path. I searched both sides of the path, although I gave most of my searching to the outer side of the path curve, as that's where my Garmin indicated. I got down and crawled under bushes, even lay down at one stage, but sigh, a DNF !
Having a dnf previously I went back a few weeks later and saw it. So last night I went for a run with a pen and signed the log book. Cheers for the good hide
Na! Sorry no find for me today. I found what I assume is the hint but it seems that I need to go to specsavers. Any chance of a further hint or pointer please.
After visiting the Botanical Gardens, I drove down here. Parked the car, walked to this area and had a little search. Aha, that's something that looks odd... And it was; thanks for hiding!
#13996. We were please the track had a good firm surface despite recent rain. TFTC.
The weather forecast was for a southerly change with rain, so StreetWalker and I set out early - before coffee - to take advantage of the fine weather and find a cache or three.
When finding Eddies Fun Park, we saw the start of the track that would lead to this cache. A pleasant walk and a great hide, what more can we ask for? TFTC.

Despite the hint pointing us in the right direction, it still took us quite a while to locate the cache. Another of this cache owner's trademark caches, and a favourite from us. TFTC
this one took a couple of goes, was walking past and decided to have another look and found easily TFTC
Can vouch for the CO its definitely there .... what a fun cache definitely bought a smile to my map and my face tftc favorite
