Logs
It was just by luck that we happened to be coming along the river road on a Sunday to walk the Atene Skyline Track, as we didn’t realise that the road was under repair and had long closures operating the other days of the week. We managed to walk the whole track and found it a beautiful trek, but quite tiring with all the undulations. Marvellous views in places. It took us about 7 hours to complete the loop.
We stopped off here for our lunch break and used the facilities with a view! The coordinates were excellent and the cache quickly found. As the log book is only protected by a plastic bag it was all very damp, but we managed to sign it. Thanks for placing caches on this excellent trail. A favourite point for the walk. SL. TFTC.

Lovely day to go and do the skyline walk. Great location for a cache . Log was very wet so took everything out of. Ages and let it dry up a bit in the sun while having lunch. TFTC
We didn't have the time to do the complete loop when we came here for the other new cache a week or so ago, but was keen to make the return trip today.
Things didn't go exactly to plan on the farm this morning, & things ended up getting a little busy so Mrs Rattll decided to "man the fort" while Mr Rattll had a bit of time off the farm & went for the walk/run.
There were a couple of people on the track today, but obviously not geocachers as Mr Rattll was rewarded with a blank log book & some more hut passes . We're really looking forward to using these sometime - hopefully in the summer.
Thanks for another awesome reason to enjoy this track, the family hut passes & the {FTF}
