Logs
Suscoe was working back from Anderson this morning along the Bike/Walk series.
A quick find here.
We noticed that many of the log books are full on these Bike/Walk caches, Maybe time for some TLC.
Thanks to Wal-Len for this cache and series.

Cache located name squeezed into log paper. Would be a peaceful walk if this trail wasn't beside a busy road.
Found with PapaGrouch and WeRAmused. Parked at the recommended spot and made our way to this one, PapaGrouch spotted it first. TFTC
Loving a drive by I can do in the truck.
Thanks Wal-len

A trip across Port Phillip on the ferry today and on my way to Phillip Island by a rather random route picking up a variety of caches. A short detour via Anderson to collect a few more caches Quickly found TFTC Wal-len
We were too close not to find the caches along here.
The container was found just dangling there.
Thanks Wal-len for making our drive that little bit more interesting.
Chiefton!!!

Accompanied with silence49, Early in the morning. Found your cache Wal-len, thank you so much for placing it.
A truck driver pulled over on the shoulder right as I was coming up to this cache - I guess they weren't really doing anything relevant but always a little worried about extra pairs of eyes around watching.
Moved into position where I spotted this, then with a little more work retrieved and signed. Thanks for the cache.

Since the regional Victoria Covid restrictions have lifted we have been spending time each week getting out and about in Gippsland and collecting geo caches again. Once again we have paired up with Rebel Acts, so we will be signing most of the logs “RASP”. Today we have moved down to the area around Wonthaggi and San Reno to hopefully change all the green markers into smilie yellow faces. We have been blessed by the weather today despite the possibility of rain, and have had blue sunny skies most of the day. What better place to be than at the beach when it’s like this!

The weather was looking good , with restrictions lifted in regional Vic I once again teamed up with SKI Pair armed with My mask and Sanitizer, We had a great day exploring the Bass Coast region, starting at Wonthagi, heading along the coast to San Remo and then to Corinella before heading back over the hills to Warragul. There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area. this is one of the caches we found today.
Thanks Wal-len for the cache.
Some logs were signed as RASP today.

I had about an hour to spare this morning so I targeted the caches on this bike path doing 14 of them by car and by foot.
Pretty much a driveby here

We were looking for a place to enjoy a wintery walk today and decided to return to Phillip Island and explore this track. Today was a perfect day to enjoy the walking track before the weather heats up. The large logbook was getting full. Thanks for the cache.

I headed out today with biggles1024 for a trip down to Phillip Island, it has been a while since we have been down this way and there are so many more caches to find now since the last time.
Another quick find at this one and we were on our way to the next.

Another pretty easy find although pretty sure it had fallen down so after signing and adding a couple of little swaps we put it back where we thought it should have been as per the hint. TFTC!
During a previous visit to the area, we had looked for caches along the Phillip Island Road from the junction of the Bass Highway to San Remo. We found most of them but missed a small number. Since that visit a number of new caches have been added to the walking/riding track along this road. So, our last task for the afternoon was to look for as many "To Be Found" caches as possible before the light faded.
Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Wal-len for the cache and other caches along the bike/walk track.

Great to be out and about on this lovely winters day with Oz Hockey Chick. The game plan to ride along here to the around about way up the road. Thanks heaps for placing this fabulous series

Decided to tackle a section of the Walk Path series today, on foot
Was pleased with the variety of hides. Most were quite easily found due to accurate co-ords. Unfortunately some logs were found wet and some logs quite full
Loved the pathway and the views. Look forward to returning to complete the series including the odd DNF
Many thanx to Wal-len

After visiting family in Wonthaggi, I decided to take a walk in San Remo. I grabbed these caches along the way. These seemed to be accessible along the highway and there wasn't much traffic today, I'll have to come back and get the rest another time. Happy Easter! Thanks for the cache Wal-len.

Needing a decent length walk I decided to pop down Wonthaggi way and walk along the road connecting Phillip Island to the mainland. I only saw one person along the path today and even that was close to the car park next to Westernport Views.
I hope the locals make more use of this great facility than what I saw today but then again the bus stop at Anderson is not exactly the most popular starting place for a walk, now is it ?
Most caches were found without too much trouble with only 1 missing, 1 in desparate need of a new log, 1 guarded by so many Xmas spiders that I really couldn't see a way through to it without destroying much of what they built so I left the cache alone and 1 a DNF because I simply couldn't find it despite logs advising it was a simple find.
Thanks for the fun Wal-len.

*Saturday morning, a great opportunity to ride this section of the Bike/Walk Path.*
The magpie which became suspicious when we were at Formation, swooped in with a couple of helmet strikes as we approached this one.
Thanks Wal-len for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

I spent the morning caching down the Bass Highway, starting near Wonthaggi and working my way back north. My main goal for the day was to find one last cache to complete D/T loop 10, which I did.
On the way back I parked the car and had a pleasant walk along the bike path (no bike today) to find the caches. Nice views along the way too.
Thanks Wal-len.

I offered up my Uncle duties to the three kids for the day but they had plans so I threw the bike in the car to head down to the rail trail series again. I didn't see many people on the trail today but even better was the lack of flies. They really got to me last time I came here.
27 cache finds and 3 dnf's.
Not bad all in all. The weather was great and the exercise was much needed.
Only one other guy on the track today and he passed me earlier so no trouble here.
Spotted the cache quickly and made good time signing and replacing it.
Thanks Wal-len

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. I usually cache on my own but sometimes I will collect my nephew stinky bob and my brother stinky tom who both enjoy this hobby.
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

I cached to the NE of Anderson this morning in the rain so it is much better to set off to the west this afternoon with the sun nearly shining. Another great run of caches. Thanks Wal-len.
Another easy find. Nice walk and good parking near the scenic lookout.

Had some time to spare before heading off to the footy on the Easter Monday public holiday so I took a drive down towards Philip Island without a specific destination in mind. I knew there were caches along the rail trail here and this leg starting along the old road to the island seemed a good place to start. This was my fifth find of 12 along here and I was starting to realise that I would have been better on the bike as parking wasn’t safely and readily available. At least in this case I was able to park nearby and quickly make the find in a likely spot. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Wal-len.

Out and about for the day with Mark9375 and Geojill_11 picking up a few caches along this sandy trail. Another quick find in a familiar spot.

Wife dropped me off at the start of the roundabout and i went for a walk/run along. Thanks for these
I dropped geohubby off and he cached along the trail to our pre-assigned pick up spot. At least by having a chauffeur, it saves back tracking in this heat and with the flies..... TFTC
Found at 2:47 PM GAFF1.
This section of road is so much easier to stop along than the section further on - not much traffic along her at all. Good to see a nice sized container in a caching friendly spot
Thanks Wal-len.

This was a ride-by for me although I confess that for me the ride was (legally) powered. Antoher good set of coords.
With life getting in the way of caching recently, today was a good day to get out and head south for a mind clearing day away from it all. In the company of abl973 we had some excellent walks around areas and trails that we hadn't visited before.
This one was a walk by today!
Thanks to Wal-len for the cache.
