This cache has been removed from the field.

On our return ride to the Bridge to Nowhere from Ruatiti Road we popped up to visit the trig. We weren't aware that there was a cache there, but found it lying in plain sight on the ground at the base of the trig. The logbook was soaked, and could neither be read nor written in. We felt that it was now litter rather than a geocache, so we removed it.

#8455, 17:44,
During our holidays in Newzealand we searched some Caches.
We looked for some FTF and decided to try this one, although it would be late for starting a hike. We started at 15:00 and after 2 and a half hours reached GZ. It took us a half hour of searching until we found the box, due to bad listing coordinates.
For all following us:
The box is at the top building only 1-2 meters away from the base. See attached photo.
At a quarter past eight we were back at the car.

We had seen a nice area with big ferns, tujas, flower...
Without a Cache we would never have been there.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this box
