Went to have a look what's going on here and there's been a slip of sorts which has changed the area again. The hidey hole where the cache used to be is gone and I couldn't find the cache anywhere. So rather than find yet another place for this cache I think it's time to call time on this one and make the area available for a better cache.
I was slightly reluctant to archive this because it was the first cache I ever placed. Still waiting for the updated log for the FTF. Way to diss a new CO Yeetrees.

Went back still no luck. Probably the least favorite of the caches in Porirua for me. Won't be rushing back to this
Hmm I can see where it may have been. Not sure if it's here. GZ behind tree and nothing.
Found the cache a fair distance from the correct place which was luckily easy to spot. Although the last finder made a decent effort to hide it with some sticks it would very likely have been muggled from there. It's been muggled twice from a location like that which is why it's where it is now so I'm glad I intervened before before it was too late.
Found out in the open but intact, surprising as it was only found 3 days ago. Couldnt find a little cave so have replaced at base of tree to the right of the big one. Wonder how long this massive tree has been watching the tide come in and out!
Sounds like someone's moved the cache since I last visited. Now I have to find it before it gets muggled and put it where it's supposed to be. Hopefully I can figure out from the last log where it is.
I have no idea why this is marked as needing maintenance. I checked and it doesn't. It would appear a previous cacher is conflating the ideas of "I can't find it" with "it's not there".
Very nice.
I stand one foot on the ground and the other on the tree. A bit like Avatar lol

The plan is to do a few caches today in and around Porirua just to give my numbers a bit of a pre x-mas push.
Cache #4 today so we parked at the recommended spot then strolled around the corner and down the (currently under refurbishment) and VERY muddy trail to GZ for a nice simple find. All good here.

Bit of a scramble as you say. Didn't see any mini houses that a previous log mentioned. All in good condition. TFTC
Not sure why there's been no maintenance request for this. I had vaguely remembered people mentioning the log was full when it was similarly mentioned on another cache. Without the maintenance request there is no persistent flag to remind me to address it. It's a bit ironic that this edition of the cache has lasted all the way to a full log when it's just an expendable Sistema - compared to the more fancy previous cache which got nicked twice - even when tethered.
So there's a new log there now in a new plastic bag. The previous log was in good condition so it remains there (also in the new bag) for prosperity. I photographed it in case it disappears though.
Also the cache wasn't hidden very well at all and was missing any kind of cover to prevent it from being plainly visible (not that you can see it from the track). There is now a rock in front of it which I think was what I did on the last visit.

Easy find up a fun bank with a nicely framed beach view. Log book is full. Tftc!
Thank you for the find…a new log is needed as it is full…we did it in the dark with torches when no one was around…
Never knew about this spot! Terrain is a bit difficult as flax is a bit overgrown so be careful. TFTC!
Sent the teen up, too steep for my old bung knee. She went up to the left of the flax easily enough and then it was a quick find
I can confirm it is a bit tricky to get to the cache at the moment. I won't disable the cache but I'll see about clearing the "path" that used to be there.
Couldn’t get there due to a fallen tree. Suggest the terrain difficulty be increased
Decided to find one more cache in Titahi Bay before heading back to Paraparaumu for our last night. Had a pretty uncomfortable hike up to the cache and was pleased to spot it right away as I didn’t feel like clambering up here for too long. Was just as hard getting back down. Had to dust myself off on the walk back to the car. Thanks for smiley!
Alas Cook has been heavily defaced (although his face has not been defaced!) I get tired of this hypocritical attitude of some Maori. Sure, Cook may have overacted in some instances, but Maori often overacted, and many were cannibals and all were slavers. And yet these atrocities seem to get conveniently ignored. Okay, enough of that. A nice track, and an easy find. Shady, too. Nice. I think I got sunburned later. I'll know tomorrow.
Woohoo! Another 360 degree marked off! Nice.
I have been getting a bit of cabin fever from too much working from home, so I decided to take the bike for a bit of geocaching. But where? And separately, I have been living in Lower Hutt for a while now, so I moved my home coordinates and discovered I only have 30 missing degrees to complete my diamond 360 degrees from home badge. Well, that makes this weekend's decision easy! Porirua! I have 4 missing degrees there. So I downloaded a query with all the caches in my missing degrees into my phone and took my bike on the train to Porirua. There are four degrees to get there, and 10 caches within them - way more than needed. Oh - and today is a multi dot day, and one of those caches is a multi! I love it when a plan comes together!
So that was all I found. A few caches in Titahi Bay, and a few in Cannon's Creek. I wonder how many caches I simply cycled/walked past? No idea.

With a nice clear hint, it was an easy find today. Not many muggles around given the rain, TFTC
Great hint and found on a quiet sunny day. Quiet apart from someone doing donuts on the beach. The ladies toilet wasn't quite Hunterwasser flash but artistic tiles. Tftc
A nice quick find on a nice walkway above the beach. thanks.
Time for another trip to the North Island for Ms_KR and me. Yus back on the road again, and crusing around Tawa. Porirua and Titahi Bay. A showery morning but the rest of the day has been great.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Enjoyed seeing the carving of Cook… and shady walk. Quick scramble & find, thanks trancer96!
Passed a few people on the pathway on the way to GZ but fortunately all was quiet once we got there. Both of us scrambled up the hill and easily found the cache. TFTC trancer96!
Spending the afternoon around Titahi Bay and Onepoto doing some caching. Never been here before and enjoying the coast line and walks. Cache all fine here. Thanks for pointing out the sculptures as Inwoukd have completely missed them otherwise. Happy to give it a favourite. Lovely colourful beach/boat sheds along the foreshore. Thanks for the smiley.
Took a while to figure out how to get to GZ -would've helped if I'd read the hint properly... TFTC.
One again i love the little places we discover that others take us to woth cache hides, thank you for this spot. I nearly didnt stop but was glad i did. Great hint - needed for this one.
Just one today.. Lovely walk to the cache and Ezratar enjoyed the little climb to the cache, but disappointed there were no toys in it after yesterdays massive pirate haul. Thanks for the cache.
Interesting sculpture. We found not one but two caches both matching the hint. Looks like geocaching.com has a competitor .
Lovely walk to the Navigators with @peadub. A bit of scrambling up a bank but nothing too strenuous. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
While down in wgtn i visited a few places where i had not been and this was one of them Titahi bay is a little gem, well certainly on a day like it was when i visited it.
this is a very interesting cache and the concept of a short walk 'visiting' the three navigators is very good. I scrambled up the bank and i soon had it hand. and then slid down, by accident ! ) and then took a photo etc which i will log also.
thank you for bringing me here to this lovely little bay! perfect shelter for the sailing ship.

Nice cache. Been to titahi bay beach a million times but didn't know these carvings were here
